Hi Yolanda, I’m so pleased you opened a You Tube channel, I love watching you creat your beautiful pieces, you must always do what makes you feel comfortable, and I’m sure no one will mind you doing that. Wonderful sketches, you are such an inspiration 🥰
Thank you so much for the encouragement! Tbh it took me a long time to start making videos here, I was too self conscious and it felt overwhelming at first but now I don’t care as much and actually enjoy it ☺
I've just found your accounts today, from this video, and I'm in total wonder with your art! I understand that Patreon requires a special atention since people are paying and expect you to post regularly... anyway, you said that you're going to close it so you are not going to lose all the content there on Patreon. I don't know if it's the ideal time to ask you this, but, as I said, I've just found your account, loved every little thing in here and I'm really interested in your tutorials and your oil pastel guide. Can I still join your Patreon before you close it? Thank you very much
Thank you so much for your interest ❤️ unfortunately I can’t reopen it without Patreon charging my current patrons so I can’t do it, sorry. I may eventually put the guide up for sale though and I would include the links to the tutorials as well
Hi Yolanda :-) how do those have such a fine point on them? I thought they were oil pastels? So beautiful and delicate! Your application is exquisite.❤️
I was too late in joining you on Patreon (was waiting for you to open it again, but alas, very understandable though!). I really want to learn more about your oil pastel technique, so I hope you find a way to share your Oil Pastel Guide! Thank you for the nice content you make :)
I admire the artists that can keep up with the commitment that is Patreon. I know that I couldn't do it. I think you made a wise decision here. If it doesn't work for you, then it is better to pull out rather than falling behind further and further, and feeling terrible about it. (This is how I imagine it would go for me.) And the birdy turned out very cute!
Thanks a lot for understanding, that’s exactly how I was feeling whenever the date for a tutorial release was approaching and I didn’t have it ready. I never skipped it but sometimes it was a struggle. I may go back to it at some point, perhaps with a different approach or mindset but for now closing it was the best (and only) option.
Hi Yolanda, I would love to purchase your oil pastel and oil painting guides if you sold the tutorials on your website. I really want to learn how to use oil pastels, and I would love to learn your techniques to paint with oils safely. :)
I’m so sad I found you too late to get in on your patreon oil pastel training. Happy to at least have your wonderful RUclips channel. I do hope you eventually offer the guide somehow again! Your art is incredible!❤
I’m so sad I just found you and missed a chance at your patreon but it is extremely respectable you are doing what is best for you. I look forward to watching new videos from you!! You’ve really inspired me to pick up and learn my oil pastels again.
Thank you so much for understanding ☺️ when the weather is less melting hot I may pick up my oil pastels again and share some videos, in the meantime I prefer less messy paints like the Neocolors or watercolors, colored pencils etc
@@YolandaBlazquez I totally get it. It’s nice to play with other materials also. I personally love watercolors and gouache and ink and pencil outside of oil pastels.
I see you have a very defined style, I am working to get mine by trying all kinds of materials and experiments at same time. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, we love your content.
Thank you so much! If I’m honest, I often don’t feel or see my “style”. I like many different things, styles and materials and I don’t think I’ll ever stop trying out new stuff ☺and it’s by doing that, that we learn what we like the most and what works for us
At first glance, I thought it was a colored pencil drawing. But I forgot that your specialty is oil pastels. 😂 I'm not sure, If we melt it with baby oil Would it dissolve better? Because I've never tried doing it with this type of paint. But it's my favorite technique right now when I'm coloring with colored pencils. And as you said Art is something we should do when we want to do it. Because it will be much easier, More than when we don't want to do it. Have a great time, Hope a good day Mariss 🙂
I don’t know about you but if I don’t feel like making art and I still force myself, very rarely anything good comes out of it 🫠 These Neocolor II are amazing! They took me by surprise! They kinda look like colored pencil in this very smooth paper (moleskine sketchbook) but they are so easy to apply and so vibrant, no need to put any pressure or effort at all. I enjoy colored pencils as well but not on this type of paper and just for details and stuff, otherwise they are too time consuming for my liking. I think they are wax based so I’m not sure about dissolving them with baby oil but these are water soluble 🙂
Hi Yolanda❤ RUclips auto translation is a mess, So I couldn't understand you exactly, Anyway your painting is so beautiful🐦💚 You Are a realy Diamond Hand! (In Korea, a good hand at drawing is called a golden hand.) Is this video product Caran d'ache colored pencil ? Or are they crayons?
I hope you do put up your tutorials for sale at somepoint, unfortunately I discovered you to late for patreon. I love your work and I hope to be able to draw humans as beautifully as you someday. Drawing animals is no problem but humans are a real struggle for me.
Since you don't have Patreon anymore, would you put the full tutorials up here on your channel? We want to learn from you, very much. You don't have to put them all up, but one full tutorial would be so awesome. Wish we could pay for them.
Thank you for the interest 🙏🏻 at the moment I haven’t set anything but if I put up my oil pastel painting guide for sale I will include the links to the tutorials

Thank you! ❤ these are wax pastels actually and are very easy to sharpen with a regular sharpener, they also keep the point fairly well

He mirado muchos de tus videos y me animé a comprar unos óleos pasteles...económicos pero quiero ver como me sale!
Beautiful ❤

Thank you so much! I forgot to manually add subtitles, sorry 🙈 I used Caran d’Ache Neocolor II, these are wax pastels or crayons
@@YolandaBlazquez I'm fine automatic captioning! Yolanda, thank you always 💗💗
Is your guide still available? I would like to buy it.

How do you make a good point on your crayons.?
I use a regular sharpener, one of those for two different sizes of pencils. They fit the larger one.
Thank you 😊
You’re welcome ☺️
👍👍👍🔥
What oil pastel you are using
These are Caran d’Ache Neocolor 2
