How long did it take to get the 4'×2' (FFU) Flow Hood from ITW? I paid for it ( $1,500 +) a week ago & tried to use your code again & they wouldn't take it this time & 7 days later with no information or tracking number. $1,200 for FFU, $380 for shipping & $80 for processing & NO INFORMATION ON WHATS GOING ON OR HOW LONG IT WILL BE! THIS IS FIRST TIME THEY DID IT LIKE THIS! ISO. SYRINGES I ORDER @ SAMETIME ARE HERE ALREADY BUT NO INFO ON MY FFU.
I use heat tape for reptile enclosures, you can layer it right onto the fruiting tub, one blocking out light. Helps prevent side pinning too. It’s dirt cheap and uses barely any energy.

Thanks for your content..Your Channel along with 90 sec mycology has inspired me to start growing mushrooms..im a newbee at this and i am just starting my journey your content is not confusing and u r very thorough!! Thanks for all that you do!!
It’s good to see you moving forward and making wise choices of good companies. In the spirit of learning from others mistakes I will list the things I have noticed with other tents . When you do turn your tent into south Florida you may want to seal the seems at the base with a silicone based camping tent sealer because they always leak I would go ahead and seal all the inside edges anywhere the fabric is stitched together but especially at the bottom you will also need something like a wet vac or mop for the floor also the shelf’s may accumulate water inside the hollow support poles anywhere they connect despite being tightly fitted silicone or good water proof gorilla tape can keep this from happening and despite being made of stainless steel those metal shelves can rust so plastic could be a better choice. Different tent brands and shelf brands can be different and have different challenges. These are just things to keep in mind. Remember water will find a way. Water is life .
You want positive pressure to keep contams out though. Youre right about the spores. You don't want to breath those in. But just know that negative pressure will suck contams onto youre grow from the outside of the tent. 😊
For incubation is ok, but for fruiting tent should be positive pressure.. Was asking myself how easy would it be to grow panaelous cyanescens with ac infinity or lion mane :D
So, in theory - if I were to run a carbon filter and fan pumping clean air into the tent and an exhaust to a HEPA filter on the other side - would this work? I'm new to the game and trying to work out my setup.
Thanks man! Same set up in a 4x4x80 from AC. I only fruit in it and use negative pressure with the filter inside the tent so I don't get spores in my fan. I wish the AC controller had CO2 sensing and controls...only thing they're missing. I use their CO2 controller for my fan but it's not UIS compatible, just a smart outlet. Between that and the T7 fogger that has it's own humidity controls...prime set up. Maybe someday AC will incorporate CO2 into their controller for the shroomers, that'll be super clean and easy.
Could you tell me more about your set up? I have a 4x4 tent and I have an in-line fan and a filter. I can duck out a window I have the tent next to. But I have never done any of this before and reading your comment sounds like we have the same set up. I could really use help
dude, you have been SUPER helpful, I guess I lucked out and bought ITW right off the bat. should’ve watched more of your channel though before I inoculated the first time. You’re the man brother I will be buying some swag.
I am also using negative pressure but in a different way. I have my Filter outside my grow room plumbed back into the room, My fan is also outside the room sucking the air out of the room up high. love your channel....
Hey man nice video. I made my own humidifier for about $180 with a 12 disc pond fogger and it’s fully automated so once I dial it in i don’t need to keep adding water. I might make a video on how to do it
My setup is very similar (same brand tent, fan and filter, and racks) but i have a 60x60 tent. Still need to get a flow hood. I use positive pressure because my tent is in a 50x30ft work shop with plenty of ventilation
Generally, to create a positive air pressure environment you would have a larger fan supplying air to the tent with a smaller fan pulling air out. With a negative pressure environment you would have a smaller fan providing air into the tent with a larger fan drawing air out. In this situation you are using one fan and drawing air out, but no input fan. The air is being drawn in through the holes which then the air is not filtered inside the tent at all but you aren't spreading any contaminants inside your home from inside the tent. I would add an additional hepa fan on the input side and go air tight hole and seam seal over every entry point to create a negative environment but provide filtered air to be supplied by an additional fan. Love your channel! Thanks for the inspiration!
Wow!!! That's a man's setup right there. Paint me green with envy. And what really rubs my ass.....you're deducting all that off your taxes!!!! Good for you. Thanks for sharing.
Well, this is great. I do need clarification. You're sucking (negative pressure) from out side your tent, exiting your air through a HEPA filter? Is that correct?
I’m just starting to get into this. After my first failed attempt I started watching videos and I’m really enjoying the content you create. Do you think I could use the two in one grow tent for incubation and fruiting chamber???
Love all he content. Learned a lot watching your videos. I’m in the middle of my first try. I have a 2x2 tent and I’m using a all in one grow bag. The humidity in the tent is really low. I purchased a small humidifier to raise the humidity when I switch into fruiting. Do I need to use it or will the humidity in the bag be enough? TIA for any info.
I’m doing the exact same thing you are doing with the negative pressure with the same idea to keep the spores out of my house. My question is do you use any type of filter on your incoming air inlet?
You need to get them to offer more than a 10% discount because they just add that amount back to the cost of shipping. I've checked it doesn't matter how much you spend it's always the same.
Will this set up work for Pan Cyans? Like Gordotek or JOC tek style For example, if i had a fogger at the top of the tent and the filter fan drawing air out at bottom with the negative pressure
I am not a bot I ❤️ Mycommunity, I watch the myco geeky podcast ,. Mushrooms for mental health , psilocybin treatment for trauma depression and addiction saved me from my mental health!!!
I have the north spore Noc box and mono tub kit. I did get the north spore Martha tent, too. Buuuut. Did I even need that? I'll only be growing one species at a time. So could I just keep the mono tub inside the noc box with a blanket over it? Live in a rent house and don't have space for the big grow tents.
@Jrl0028 I ended up getting an even bigger tent. Much like the one in this video @ 0:49. Got that from gorilla grow tents. The lite line. I have my noc box on a table that I will keep the bags in while inoculating. Then have up to three shelves to have all the mono tubs on while fruiting. Get a decent light source and a clip fan or two.
I am a newbie with zero experience. I just want to try a grow one bag kit, but light is very limited in my house and I'm trying to be somewhat discreet. Can i use a small tent like this with a wire rack and grow light to serve as both my incubation tent and fruiting chamber (since I’ll be using a bag kit)? If so, I'm assuming all i need to do is turn the lights on once fully colonized and i put the bag into fruiting conditions. Thoughts?
So im new to learning all this and came from growing cannabis myself. Im curious to learn more about light requirements for the best mushroom grows. Like do you run it through different light cycles and stuff similar to cannabis or what are the differences? Are there any lighting or darkness techniques that help them grow bigger healthier and more potent? Also what are the dangers of accidentally inhaling spores?
wouldnt running and exhaust to keep negative pressure deprive the mushrooms of oxygen when they are fruiting? Im new to mycology and trying to work out my setup. Can i just run an exhaust to a hepa filter with out an inline pumping air in?
I'm struggling figuring out how to program a schedule for my AC Infinity 4x4 tent. Cloud 69, with intake fan, exhaust fan ect. Does someone out there have a video?
Yo that AC Infinity fogger is fire you should do a separate video maybe make your own monotubs and a separate tent to utilize that fogger that thing straight fire 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥.Fafo maybe do something out of the ordinary like a 200 quart monotub I would love to see a video like that

True unless it's the fruiting room, by that stage, contaminants are less likely

Correct this is why hospitals always work in positive pressure. He had the right idea just backwards. Good work though,Rookie!

If you're not using the tent as your fruiting chamber, how are you controlling humidity? Are you just spraying the inside of each monotub with water?
What's that chill beat you have playing in the background throughout the video?

If you were to put the humidifier in the fruiting tent, would you put it on the inside or on the outside?
4" inline fans are overkill for these size of tents. A single 120mm PC fan would do just fine. Lower your electricity usage and reduce noise.
There is no noise, my electric is under $50, and these inline fans are recommended for my tents. Anything else?
