I got the 5.0 and love it it has more then my 3.6 gas and I ran for 20 hours of fishing and with color lights you can see them and yes I got a 10 pound catfish yup it has been got going green and I am running a 1000 watt bike battery pack
Do you think it was worth the cost? i found those motors on ebay for around $400. Then the cost of 4 batteries the total investment would be at or over $800. compared to just buying a gas outboard?
Hi, just wondering, how loud is it in real life?? It sounds annoying on the video but that could just be the audio. I'm wanting to buy one for a similar setup on my pontoon boat. We are on a lake that does not allow gas engines. Thanks
Ended up putting this one on a 14 ft flat, works out much better. Shaft was too short for pontoon. Got a longer shaft for pontoon both work well now. Will post more videos when weather gets cooler.
@@makaira3208 Thinking about this for a Jon Boat in Electric Only Lakes around here in PA. How loud is it in reality? Hard to find good video on youtube for this..
for 48 volts, 5 hp is really under powered. you could have 20 hp if you got lucky on the used market. a name brand motor doesn't cost much used, it's just the batteries.
It's 4 years old or more.
DOES IT STILL WORK????
So little feedback on these. Priced way too good to be true. Did you use it much?

How’s it holding up for you? And what’s the battery life like? Thanks for sharing
What is the status of this motor? Do you still like it or did you return it?

Seems very loud, would you say its louder than a gas outboard?
Not even close
Is this motor better than the NP vessel 86lb er?
Yes
Air cooling engine?
this motor was dragging very bad. He had the height wrong.
It ain't very quiet
I want expecting it to be that noisy tbh.
Do you need 4 batteries or can it run on one
its 48v =4 12v batteries. so if you can find a single 48v battery you can use one. or you can use 8 6v batteries.

I’d recommend nobody buy this thing I’ve had one on a 12ft aluminum boat and I could row faster than that not worth it at all
wring
Than a 5HP motor? Did it not work correctly, like a couple people have demoed?
Did it break quickly?
