Great guide but one thing i never see is OSRS youtubers ever do the fight caves with the recommended gear. I know its obviously possible but it would be nice to see it without someone saying "look at how easy it is" while hitting 75s with a tbow lol
Yeah I just tried it with a setup better than what was recommended and its still very much not easy and a momentary prayer fuckup or server delay will basically kill you. Wasted a fucking hour following this guide and half the time italy rock doesnt work.
Thanks man! Got my first fire cape after 20 years of playing this game. I'm so stoked to have this childhood goal of mine crossed off, so thanks again man!
18:40 that's actually THE most important few seconds in the fight caves, this is where 90% of people die and 9% die the rest of the way at jad. All because they didn't use the right prayer. It's the mosti mportant part to just stay calm, practice a few seconds... you got enough prayer potions so just sit there and get in the zone for a minute. After that you won't panic later and fuck up. Take a minute otherwise you'll lose hours of work.
Got it 2nd try after putting it off for ages because of how intimidating it was. Videos like yours helped a ton because keeping a cool head and knowing what to do with janky spawns is the most important aspect. 12 year old me would be so stoked.
This guide is amazing! I just did my first ever attempt and made it to Jad, unfortunately ran out of everything by panic drinking potions early on so didn't quite make it but thank you so much I wouldn't have come close without this!
I got beat to death by the healers because I was so low and out of brew, it pissed me off because my prayer changes were on point but nothing I could do to stop the damage from the healers. One of them was hidden behind jad and I didnt realize at first so they had him back to full health anyway
Shit I do and I have 1kc lol. One misclick = minimum of 30 min just to get back to him. And another invy of wasted supplies lol. My heart doesn’t pound like it used to, and I don’t get tunnel vision anymore, but I still do not want to fight Jad again lol
Agreed, first time i was affraid, second didnt give a shit, third was for slayer. Gets really easy but you must know the sounds incase you get a bad spawn.
First ever cape, thank you very much. 1.5 brews and 1.75 restores left. That was so stressful lol, got hit by jad twice when the healers came out. I can see it getting a lot easier quickly though, especially with some decent gear and stats.
Bro thank you so much for this guide. Managed to clutch it on the first go. Heart hasnt raced like that in a while lmao. Tanked a jad hit but got lucky. Would recommend going 4 manta for when jads healers spawn and you're tanking them, 4 brews, 3 bastion, holy wrench and rest restores. Having the wiki page for "fight cave strategies" open was really nice to see what wave was going to come next. Best of luck to everyone on this grind!
One super important thing you forgot to mention is that you can recover a ton of HP with the blowpipe spec. You can even camp out waves when only a melee exists, safespot them and slowly take them down with only specs to recover HP - Simply wait for your spec bar to refill. The Blowpipe’s rapid attack speed also allows you to agro the next healer sooner, therefore allowing you to agro as many as 2-3 between refocusing back to prayer switching mechanics; Thus reducing the total amount of HP that Jad is able to recover. Also - If you have high enough DEF and Armor Bonuses you are better off simply tagging each Healer to grab agro and refocusing all of your DPS onto Jad instead of killing them. The damage they deal does add up, but this is a non-issue if your able to end the fight before It gets to a point where it becomes an issue. Not worrying about HP recovery at all when facing Jad is a massive advantage. The more you can focus and increase DPS on Jad, The faster you can take him down and in turn reduce the number of possible mistakes that can be made. Narrow down as many variables as you can, You got this!
Did Jad for the first time today, been playing on and off for probably like 10-15 years. Thank you for the guide, it definitely helped, I barely got it on my first attempt since I repeatedly kept going too close to the mager who then bit me for like 30 damage everytime. I pulled the Jad healers and moved behind a wall so I wouldn't have to worry about prayers too much, then killed all the healers and went to finish Jad off. My heart rate was definitely a little high in those last waves.
Gz bro!! I'm in the same spot you were, I've been playing for 16 years (still have my OG account!) and never got close to getting fire cape. It always seemed impossible to me but now that I'm like 110 combat level I can't keep making excuses anymore.
Had a heartbreaking loss to Jad on healers. Blowpipe dragged me into melee hit. Took a couple months away from the caves and trained my range. Just got done with my 3rd attempt and with 0 food and 14hp I finally got my cape!!!!! LETS GO!!!! Thank you for this guide.
Just got my firecape first try by following your guide! I started playing OSRS again recently and this was like an unachievable task when I was a kid! Getting this cape made my innerchild so proud and happy. Great guide thanks! :)
Thank you so much for this video! I started my first OSRS account 2 months ago, and after getting to 105 combat, I felt a little bit silly, because I did not have a Fire cape. After watching your video once, I managed to do Fight Caves on my first try. Took me 1 hour, but damn, it was so fun and it feels so good to have the cape, finally. Now, just gotta grind my ass off for a few years and give Infernal a shot, lmao! Thanks again!
Just wanted to say thank you for this guide. I finally got my fire cape on the 12th try thanks to your guide. I could never deal with the healers properly until I seen the strategy where you pray melee and run through Jad. I appreciate your guide! Thanks man
Just got my fire cape first try because of this video!! Short, sweet, and really useful information. Someone below said it, but just taking a second before hitting jad to understand the attack styles saved me BIG TIME. Took a nasty magic hit and somehow didn't die, but stayed calm and just watched the attacks for a few rounds. Hit a couple brews in between ticks. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO.
Was extremely nervous going into this, despite being overgeared and overleveled compared to most people (110 CB with about 20m in gear). Did it first try, even got DC'ed on Wave 62 and my hands are still shaking now as I type this. You are a legend Kaoz!
@@CommonGI hit 73 bc yesterday and I’m getting to like wave 50 and I keep dying because I forget to pay attention to prayer, and yes I get more pissed each time because I’ve never died to a slightly different reason.
It took me forever to do jad for some reason, but then I just went and became a chad, unlocked the tzhaar task, got 92 ranging, and a black mask I, then waited for the task. Geared up in my max gear ( was using a BP+ amethyst or dragon darts I think) with a d crossbow. The armor was basic mid cost range gear like blessed d hide, and a spirit shield ( extra tankiness on my zerk that got the cape) now NY time I get a jad task its a walk in a fiery park:)
Your video gave me the idea of running through Jad and stacking the healers on the other side of him. Because of this, I was able to acquire my fire cape today, after 20 attempts. Thank you.
First time OSRS-player (I have about 10 days played now), watched this guide, had the wiki on my second monitor to remember the waves, used blowpipe with addy during waves, had 500 dragon darts for Jad, 12 prayer, 9 saro, 3 super resto, and 3 divine range- first try first down of Jad after 1 hr 17 minutes. Did a few fumbles and used most of my resources, but got the cape. Thanx :-)
Hey buddy! Good job with this guide for jad, been wanting to do jad but never really did it haha, gonna try it soon! Keep up the good work and content!
Finally I got my first fire cape, I have returned to osrs after 4 years, I know that in the past I had tried a couple of times without success, this time I told myself that I had to get it, now thanks to your tip to pass through the Jad and block the healers I have succeeded, and it is not that it was very hard only that it gave me a lot of anxiety at the time the healers came out, which made me miss a beat and die, thank you. Now for the infernal cape!
For the lvl 180 healers. They will only heal if they are in mele range (aka can hit you) and there is a monster below or at half hp. Be it themselves or another monster. If one of these requirements are not met, they cannot heal. So for the challange of denying the healers just keep a monster or a safe spot between you. Hope this info helps someone.
Oh also the prayer drain on the lvl 22 bats are whatever they hit +1. So if it hits 0 you lose one if it hits a 4 (which I believe is their max hit) you lose 5 prayer points.
LOVE THE VIDEO BROO!! Let me start off with how easy it was to follow this. Many/most videos on here get too in depth and throw different wave layouts, spawn locations for each which is best way. Too much for someone who just wants to do the darn thing! This increased my confidence so much to do this. I’m off work tomorrow can’t wait to give it a go for the first time. *Edit w how the first attempts goes incoming*
Finally did it! Tried once like 2 years ago and got wrecked. Finally convinced myself to go back today and did it with plenty of supplies left - thanks for the help!
i love the amount of explaining you do for all of your videos. I also like how you not only tell the ways you do things you also give other ways that way work better for others. You do an amazing job on all of your videos and i always see if you have a guide first as you make things less stressful!
My first Jad kill was on my third attempt using ice barrage and blood barrage. I'll definitely have to review this again if I ever get a Jad slayer task or want to go for the pet. This definitely makes things easier.
Finally beat him today. Here's what got me through it: Always default pray range and only flick to mage when he does the dangly legs, then immediately flick back to range when he does the mage attack. As for the healers, just focus down one at a time and bring a divine bastion potion and some sharks to tank. Having a Sara Godsword can help with sustain when you're doing the waves, too.
Fantastic guide. I am trying the fight caves for my first time ever, today! This made me feel so much more comfortable at attempting it. Hard to justify wasting supplies on my ironman! :P
@@nickclark18 so unfortunately I haven’t beaten it yet 😅 I get to Jad just fine but he has spawned in the south eastern corner, tucked into the corner 3 times now, each time I make it that far. So I haven’t been able to properly gather the healers and run through/around him to get them stuck on one side. Cause then I’m too close and end up getting meleed a bunch and die
Just wanted to reach out and say, after playing this game since 2004 off and on, I watched this video and went and got my first ever Fire cape on my ironman on my first try. Thank you for this and all you do!
The best tip I ever got on killing Jad is do only one action in between prayer switches. I prefer blessed d'hide over karils because of the better melee defence and for Jad I prefer rune or dragon crossbow with addy/dragon diamond bolts (e). That way I can bring a shield to help tank the healers. I bring a blowpipe for the waves and the spec helps with healing (best is to heal of the rangers and lvl 45 blobs). Also I bring 3 brews, 1 restore and about 4-5 high healing foods like manta rays. I use the manta's for the melee damage of the healers. The rest is prayer pots, a few bastions and holy wrench. Assuming you have at least 70s combat stats, you should be able to do it :-)
This must be a sign because I am just in the middle of being hesitant to do Jad for the first time. May this be an end to the procrastination. Thank you!
first started playing in 2005 till 2009, on and off then, started playing again a year and a half ago. in all that time ive NEVER had a firecape.. until today. ive been through guide after guide after guide. (8 attempts in the last 24 hours) THIS GUIDE HAS ME MY FIRST EVER FIRE CAPE!! its detailed, but short and sweet enough not to get confused or forget bits.
Started my playing RuneScape about a month ago for the first time since around 2012. Currently preparing for jad and will be using your guide. Thanks!!
I've been playing since 06-07 and I tried Jad once before EOC with a polypore staff and died. I never tried again until tonight and I beat him first try. Thanks man.
For those of you struggling to get the fire cape, even today, I have a fool proof way of taking down Jad. Before I move on to how to take Jad down, I wanna get into the equipment. Me personally, I brought full armadyl + armadyl crossbow, bonecrusher necklace, book of law, god d'hide boots, barrows gloves, archers' ring (i), ava's accumulator, diamond bolts (e), and ruby bolts (e). You can opt for god d'hide or black d'hide if you can't afford armadyl, and a blowpipe, dragon or rune crossbow if you can't get the acb. If using a blowpipe, keep your distance from Jad, as his melee attack is instant death. For archers' ring (i), you can substitute with regular archers' ring, ring of suffering (imbued or not), ring of recoil, or explorer's ring. God d'hide boots can be substituted for snakeskin boots. Book of law can be substituted for another shield, though not recommended because it gives high prayer bonus. Instead of accumulator, you can use ava's attractor if you have less than 50 ranged. Bonecrusher necklace can easily be substituted for dragonbone necklace (bonecrusher and dragonbone necklaces are exactly the same stat wise, so it would be smarter to use dragonbone necklace instead). However, if you cannot use dragonbone necklace (which requires 70 prayer), you can substitute with amulet of glory, amulet of power, holy / unholy symbol or amulet of fury. I wouldn't recommend amulet of fury simply because it sacrifices tons of prayer bonus for defense. Barrows gloves can be substituted with dragon, rune gloves, god bracers, black, or black spiked vambraces, though there are cheaper options as well. For supplies, I brought 9 saradomin brews, 5 super restores, holy wrench, the abyssal whip (for meleeing healers), a ranging potion, and the rest prayer potions. Step one: practice JalTok-Jad in speedrunning worlds, pray range first, then switch to mage if he dangles his legs and he makes a fire wave sound. If the sound is delayed, and he stomps his feet, swap back to range, or leave protect from ranged on before he transitions from mage to range. Keep in mind not to panic, panicking will surely end your run against Jad. Step two: go one step at a time. If necessary, drink one dose, then swap prayers. Tag one healer, then swap prayers. Continue this until you are full HP / prayer, or all healers are tagged. (Each of the healers can heal JalTok-Jad by 15 - 24 HP, whilst TzTok-Jad's Yt-HurKots heal for 5 HP every time. The healers can also be killed after healing JalTok-Jad to full health, unlike TzTok-Jad, where if he reaches full HP, they shouldn't be killed, as they will respawn. Both JalTok and TzTok-Jad's healers do not respawn after being defeated, and the Yt-HurKot will die all at once if either Jad is defeated.) Step three: if on his healing phase, slowly but surely tag his healers, then leave them or kill them. If you can do this in speedrunning worlds, you can do this in a normal world with TzTok-Jad. Step four: Once you get to the waves where rangers show up, I'd lure them out of the safespot and towards the corner east of the cave exit. Stand south or west (depending on where the monsters are) of the top right corner (staying behind one wall to prevent the other monsters from leaving their safespots) to lure a ranger / mager towards you, then stand in the very top right corner to lure them as close as possible towards you. Before this, I would try forcing Jad's spawn to Italy Rock and find the best rotation for Italy Rock. Rotations for Italy Rock are #2, #5, and #6. Keep eyes on the Tz-Kek on wave 3, because this is where the orange Ket-Zek will spawn on wave 62, and that is where Jad will spawn. When Jad is below 150 HP, make sure to tag his healers, and lure them behind Italy Rock, or you can tank them if you want. You can also get them stuck behind Jad trying to attack you. Once you've dealt with the healers (either by killing or aggroing them), you can continue your fight with Jad (if you chose to tank the healers, make sure the healers are at least 5 tiles from Jad). I hope this helps!
I went for Jad for the first time today. Put 2k scales in the blowpipe and ran out of charges around wave 55. So I sunk 3 mil to fully charge the blowpipe so this never happens again, went back to the fight caves, and realized on wave 40 that I withdrew strength potions instead of Sara brews. Let's laugh at me together 😂. Been up all night so I was tired and didn't focus but it's safe to say I can beat it since I didn't even need Sara brews till wave 40. Thanks for this guide!
your guide is helping quite a bit, I'm planning on doing more jad attempts soon and while joshstrifehayse taught me quite a bit, you taught me even more tricks to use (especially the healer's phase) great guide
Decided today to bite the bullet and get a fire cape. Playing on mobile only I thought it was going to be horrible. Your guide was brilliant and I managed it third attempt! Thank you
Just failed my 1st ever attempt at Jad, right when the healers came in. This guide made everything so clear to me and confident approaching it. Pretty happy with my 1st attempt, I'm sure I'll get him next time :)
Btw if anyone needs it, if you search OSRS Jad Simulator, there’s an actual mod someone created where you are just fighting jad over and over. All you can do is switch your prayers to get use to his attacks. Can’t do damage to him and there’s no healers phase on it but it’s incredibly helpful getting to practice hearing and seeing his attacks before you go into the fight. I highly recommend!
just finished my 11th attempt. Im burning M's, literally follow everything you explain. I either get stuck on jad running out of food/ pots, or Melees manage to chip me so bad, that rangers kill me. Im cb lv 92 ffs??!?!1
@@Destroyreligion-42 nahh we just gotta keep grinding man. I just have to not panick on Jad and then ill het it. I die everytime those fuckin healers show up. Decided to take a break for a while and skill up before I head on back
Also tried it like 6 times. Healers always screw me over, plus Jad is getting on my nerves even tho my stats are up there. But next time I will get him
The hardest thing about jad is keeping calm. If you feel yourself getting to nervous you can always pause your progress one time durring the fight caves. To to so, press the logout button at the beginning of the wave or mid wave on the one you want to pause after. You will get a message about pausing your progress. It will tell you if you wish to pause you can log out. If you hit it and log out mid wave you will have to repete that wave. Or if you kill all the monster it will pass for you to log out and save your progress. If you fell you need to pause I recomend after wave 61 and before wave 62. As wave 62 is two lvl 360 mages. Set quick prayer to protect from magic before you log out to save progress. I knew a guy that he had to take a break at the end every time due to just getting nervous, even after he killed jad many times. The two biggest reason you will die at jad is getting nervous and if you have lag issues. Hope this helps.
this is very helpful, im getting ready to do my very first fire cape attempt. my stats are all higher than the recommended except range which is exactly 75, but this gives me confidence still.
Thanks! finally did it. Proper strategy during the waves allowed me to only use 2 sara brews, at jad i was able to heal above hit points and even received three hits, but still got the cape.
IF you've got the toxic blowpipe, you can save on ammo/charge/prayer if you safespot magers and or melees by letting the poison do the job. Just hit em a few times to make sure the poison is working and keep active in the safespot to not auto log out.
Haven't had to do fight caves for several years but forgot to parch my cape last night and lost it.. felt pretty confident but this video was a perfect refresher.
I already have multiple firecapes on almost every account I have, but I just love your content and have been watching your channel for over a year, so I'll watch the guide anyways :D You deserve more subs! :P
Just watched this, then went to a speedrun world (friend suggested it) ran over and practiced jad 4 or 5 times, then did it my first real run-through. Thanks a bunch! Fire cape looks snazzy.
@@EliLippy Almost! Jad whacked me for full hp because I missed a prayer on my shitty mobile haha. Ima get that big ugly fucker tomorrow though for sure!
This seems like a good guide, the one thing I'd add is for the earlier, less stressful waves, try prayer flicking, since you're usually only fighting one thing at a time early on, this can be a great way to preserve prayer for later on
I agree, though be careful what you prayer flick. Prayer flicking protect from magic / ranged is kind of a risky move, especially for lower leveled accounts (I wouldn't recommend prayer flicking Ket-Zeks anyways, as they can easily 2 tap or 1 tap somebody within a few seconds). However, prayer flicking rigour / eagle eye, (or if using melee, piety / chivalry) is a good way to conserve prayer without the risk of dying in the caves (which isn't considered a safe death for Hardcore Ironmen, as they will lose their status).
After many attempts finally watching a guide got jad first time after watching without him having a single hit on me. Just watching you pray change and see his attack style helped alot.
It's mid may 2022. I played OSRS for a little over 2 yrs since my time back and now I can gladly announce that I have my fire cape due to your video!!! Thanks, and it certainly took me long enough.
The deed is done after all these years...i couldnt do it when i was a kid but i came back and finally, its complete!! For me, what worked best was a crystal bow and ancient combination(blood barrage) to keep health up and perserve more restore potions rather than saradomin. AOE the healers with Jad when you rip them off and drain his soul until the fire cape is yours. If you have any questions, please let me know! Kid me has a big smile on his face..the journey is done!
@Kaoz OSRS i was commenting on your intro and that the algorithm gods want people to annihilate the like button with the mighty back hand of Zeus 😂 Thanks for the guide btw dude. its definitely the most helpful one ive watched so far 👌
just followed this guide, got my first jad kill on first try and also i got the Pet! Damn im lucky! And thanks for a great guide Kaoz! Cheers from Sweden
i’m getting a tattoo rn but i’m going to watch this when i get home and try to get this. i really wanna beat jaad, i wanna get my first fire cape AND skill cap this year !
Extra pointers for low/mid levels for 'JAD': -If your defence is below (I'd say) 90 prioritize some range defence by taking a Verac helm and/or plateskirt as you're gonna be tanking the rangers every wave from the first mager wave on out. Bastion potions are also a good option. -I highly recommend having at least 60 prayer if you're struggling (I did it with 65). On my first try I had about 50 prayer and ran low on supplies near the end, which made me too nervous to deal with the healers properly which made me mess up the prayer switch for Jad. Having higher prayer will increase the time your supplies last dramatically and give you peace of mind for your first KC. -Lastly, the piss strat. My first succesful attempt was my second try and boy did the piss strat help me. The caves took me almost an hour to complete, the orange lava pattern of the ground was literally burned into my eyes and I was getting hungry and thristy. You can leave one enemy save spotted at the end of a wave when you don't have to pray and just walk away from your computer. Go take a piss, wash your sweaty hands, grab some water and calm down before continuing the fight. Good luck!
@@itsmello7 Sounds good. Also prayer bonus equipment could help if you hadn't looked at that. A fave of mine is the Verac plateskirt which boasts a +4 prayer bonus aswell as good defensive stats.
You can also log out at the end of any wave and come back whenever. Normally I log out the wave before jad to take a break, so when I come back I'm not as tense from pvming for an hour
@@lotfj would you recommend verracs over blessed dhide? I was gonna get my ranged to 75 & use a blowpipe, blessed dhide, fury, and brimstone ring. Felt like that would be decent enough, can’t afford better than blessed dhide lol

Just got my firecape first try by following your guide! I started playing OSRS again recently and this was like an unachievable task when I was a kid! Getting this cape made my innerchild so proud and happy. Great guide thanks! :)
preparing for Jad on the HCGIM right now, not done fire caves in years, some reminders here were awesome :D
Somehow when I was 13 I managed to get my fire cape at level 43, fast forward to today.. can't even do it with 100 combat.
You're welcome. Thabks for watching!
That's actually huge dude. Congrats!! Enjoy the cape :D
Was extremely nervous going into this, despite being overgeared and overleveled compared to most people (110 CB with about 20m in gear). Did it first try, even got DC'ed on Wave 62 and my hands are still shaking now as I type this. You are a legend Kaoz!
What gear did you end up using?
110cb and shaking, try doing it at 80-90 😂
@@CommonGI hit 73 bc yesterday and I’m getting to like wave 50 and I keep dying because I forget to pay attention to prayer, and yes I get more pissed each time because I’ve never died to a slightly different reason.
Thanx :-)
Thanks for the guide my dude, ended up doing stuff differently due to nerves and inexperience but I got my cape on the first try!
Legend. Congrats!!
Thanks man you helped me get my first fire cape took me like 8 try’s but your video helped a lot appreciate it💙
For the lvl 180 healers.
So if it hits 0 you lose one if it hits a 4 (which I believe is their max hit) you lose 5 prayer points.
lol I got that task on my first fire cape without even knowing about it.
Let me know how it goes!!
Didn't go so well then?
@@TheRaptor700Rider I attempted twice each time got to jad just die tagging healers :/ I’m trying again soon
Glad you like them, Brady! Thanks :]
My first Jad kill was on my third attempt using ice barrage and blood barrage. I'll definitely have to review this again if I ever get a Jad slayer task or want to go for the pet. This definitely makes things easier.
"Almost 2022" *sweats in 2024*
Thanks a lot man!!!! I got it first try with only 1:14:56 on the timer! Great guide! TBH: range/melee/mage rounds were harder than Jad
I got it!!!!! Thank you so much Kaoz! :D
This guide is fantastic. I have enough gear for 5 attempts right now and with the guide I'm pretty confident that's all I'll need B)
Glad you liked it Christopher :)
Lmk if you need help.
@@seeyay179 dont do that stupid sht. just tag the healers and tank them. make sure you drink sara brew or divine bastion potion before the jad fight
Just wanted to reach out and say, after playing this game since 2004 off and on, I watched this video and went and got my first ever Fire cape on my ironman on my first try. Thank you for this and all you do!
Just wanted to say a massive thank you for the well made and easy to understand guide! Just completed my first Fire Cape thanks to you!
Congratulations!
Assuming you have at least 70s combat stats, you should be able to do it :-)
Yeah don't do anything that this guy says. Bring prayer pots and more than one restore wtf hahaha.
@@prawngravy18 You should read my whole post, not half of it. Cheers.
This must be a sign because I am just in the middle of being hesitant to do Jad for the first time. May this be an end to the procrastination. Thank you!
I did it once for the first time and died on wave 54. Need more prayer pots for the next run.
@@screwhead6274 lmk if you need help
first started playing in 2005 till 2009, on and off then, started playing again a year and a half ago.
in all that time ive NEVER had a firecape.. until today. ive been through guide after guide after guide. (8 attempts in the last 24 hours)
THIS GUIDE HAS ME MY FIRST EVER FIRE CAPE!! its detailed, but short and sweet enough not to get confused or forget bits.
all went so well! first Jad attack and I miss click retribution rather than protect from magic and die :')
Started my playing RuneScape about a month ago for the first time since around 2012. Currently preparing for jad and will be using your guide. Thanks!!
did you get it done?
@@abasketofcrutches2955 same. thanks for commenting OP
your guide is helping quite a bit, I'm planning on doing more jad attempts soon and while joshstrifehayse taught me quite a bit, you taught me even more tricks to use (especially the healer's phase) great guide
Decided today to bite the bullet and get a fire cape. Playing on mobile only I thought it was going to be horrible. Your guide was brilliant and I managed it third attempt! Thank you
That's huge, Ricky. Congrats!

Just failed my 1st ever attempt at Jad, right when the healers came in. This guide made everything so clear to me and confident approaching it. Pretty happy with my 1st attempt, I'm sure I'll get him next time :)
i died to jad 4 times but didnt give up and got him on the 5th :)
Hello! thanks for the guide, what runelite plugin are you using to show how many tiles each creature is taking up?
Btw if anyone needs it, if you search OSRS Jad Simulator, there’s an actual mod someone created where you are just fighting jad over and over. All you can do is switch your prayers to get use to his attacks. Can’t do damage to him and there’s no healers phase on it but it’s incredibly helpful getting to practice hearing and seeing his attacks before you go into the fight. I highly recommend!
Just finished getting my first fire cape with your guide. Thank you!!!
just finished my 11th attempt. Im burning M's, literally follow everything you explain. I either get stuck on jad running out of food/ pots, or Melees manage to chip me so bad, that rangers kill me.
Im cb lv 92 ffs??!?!1
Same story here man! Really considering to pay an online site 10 bucks to do it
@@Destroyreligion-42 nahh we just gotta keep grinding man. I just have to not panick on Jad and then ill het it. I die everytime those fuckin healers show up. Decided to take a break for a while and skill up before I head on back
Really just here to say that I'm 10 tries in and just can't seem to calm myself going into the fight with jad.
Got him to 30 hp and blew it last yry
Next run is the one :)
The healers always screw me over
@@KaozOSRS you rule Kaoz thanks brotha!
Got my first Jad kill on my second attempt thanks to this video! Childhood goal complete thanks to your assistance, appreciate it!!
Congratulations :D
Played til wave 30 then realized all my sara pots were strength pots -_-
lmaooooooooo unlucky
I have stated play osrs much more often and your videos really help me out. Thanks a lot and keep them up! Hopefully I'll kill Jad one day.
Tell me when you get it :)
Thanks! finally did it. Proper strategy during the waves allowed me to only use 2 sara brews, at jad i was able to heal above hit points and even received three hits, but still got the cape.
thought id let you know this guide helped me get my first cape after 18 years of playing the game. ive paid for many capes. no more. thanks fella.
Legend man. Congrats
Thank you so much Kaoz!! just got my first firecape on my fifth attempt. This video helped me out so much! :)
IF you've got the toxic blowpipe, you can save on ammo/charge/prayer if you safespot magers and or melees by letting the poison do the job. Just hit em a few times to make sure the poison is working and keep active in the safespot to not auto log out.
And also that time waiting on the poison to seep in, you'll be recovering HP if you've taken any early damage.
Haven't had to do fight caves for several years but forgot to parch my cape last night and lost it.. felt pretty confident but this video was a perfect refresher.
Thank you friend, died twice on my iron back to back to the healers, used the little melee strat to block them behind. much appreciated

I just got my fire cape. Thanks a bunch for this video!

Thanks for helping with Jad. I still have yet to try for my first fire cape but with this, I just might be able to get it
The deed is done after all these years...i couldnt do it when i was a kid but i came back and finally, its complete!! Extra pointers for low/mid levels for 'JAD':
-If your defence is below (I'd say) 90 prioritize some range defence by taking a Verac helm and/or plateskirt as you're gonna be tanking the rangers every wave from the first mager wave on out.
Good luck!
Piss strat sounds OP lol. Good advice on the prayer level tho, might grind mine up from 57 to 65 to see how that works out for me
@@itsmello7 Sounds good.
