Ibanez needs to release this as a signature. They would sell so many because 24 frets HSS is sorely needed in their AZ lineup.
100% need to release this as a signature model. 10/10 would buy in a heartbeat.
These days I'm leaning more towards HSH with coil-split/tap, which is even more versatile.

Tried an AZ and man that guitar was so amazing. I did not like the chunkiness of the neck at first but after 30 minutes of playing it, I got comfortable with it right away. And I love all of the sound that it makes. Just wow.

I hated the chunky neck!
And I like a classic C on Fenders. This aint that!

Such a stunning guitar! This is exactly how I would spec an AZ I think, I have come close to buying the TQM1 model but I'm really used to 24 frets and I have a (potentially bad) habit of navigating in my minds eye by 'subtracting' from the 24th fret when I get into higher registers so when I play a 22 fret I make blunders up there fairly often. Also some great aesthetic choices here too. Phenomenal playing ofc! Another thing I'll say is that I have the same chair as you and I removed the armrests which makes it way more comfortable to play guitar on as you don't have to perch on the edge as much lol

Congratulations Jack and well deserved! This guitar is so you! It's pretty much what I had been looking for years but could never find it! A 24 fret S type with a hottish humbucker in the bridge. The problem I found was the compromise in tone from the neck pickup when pushed closer to the bridge. I'd love to know your thoughts on this.
Thanks Lee!! 🙏 I’ve heard quite a few people say that it loses a bit of that ‘S’ type quality with the neck pick-up being in a different position, but so far I’m not hearing too much of a compromise! I guess time will tell haha!

Very Beautiful and inspired playing! I bought the Ibanez MAR10 so that I could have the HSS configuration with the 24 frets and AZ styling I always wondered why Ibanez didn’t offer it in the regular AZ lineup. I definitely buy one like yours she’s gorgeous! Maybe signature model in the future?🤘🏽😉

What a great guitar plus your playing skill = Awesome Jack. I've owned Suhr, Tom Anderson, PRS Studio model, USA Hamer, Fender Custom shop, John Mayer Silver Sky, Nick Johnston Schecter but not Ibanez. If Ibanez released this guitar as your signature model then I would love to add this to my collection.

That's awesome, and similar to a Warmoth guitar I built. Blue finished body (just like a matte light blue), splittable chrome humbucker in the bridge with a white single coil in the neck, white knobs and switch tip, 24 fret roasted maple neck with stainless steel frets, but I went for a Wilkinson vibrato and Hipshot locking tuners, both in a satin silver finish. So seeing your guitar, I greatly approve!

I personally only play Ibanez electrics, I have two. They are both RG's, one is a RG470 that I bought in 1994 and my other is a RGIB21 (Baritone) that I bought about 2 years ago. I want a third but I 'm interested in a 7 string RG and have it in a crazy progression metal tuning. Ibanez just plays fantastic as soon as you pick it up in my opinion. I've had Fender and something else but they didn't feel as natural in my hands.

Listening the opening title of your video "Glitter" it's so good, i'm in "love" with this title.. , lead/melodical playing but also the "backing " composition and sound are awesome with great synth and bass sound, perfect package ! middle part a 1:30 is soaring as hell , 2:54 is epic ! guitar is beautiful hope , it's will be a signature model !

Lovely. I've got the Quayle and just about to replace the tuners with the Gotoh wheel tuners. Had horrible trouble with the nut on 2 of then but all fine now. Jack you should do a quick video on how you like your guitars setup....action etc.

Great minds think alike, I love the AZ hss but the only limitation 4 me is the 22 frets. Obviously im not a traditional strat player(as much as I love the tone)
