I thought that was an excellent review. Just a regular guy giving his impressions who is not some slick dealer salesman. I think that was honest and sincere. I am thinking about one of these for my daughter.
stns 440 This is his first review in which I actually thought he did a good job. He usually trashes vehicles if he doesn't like the brand and is usually very biased. He is fine with a Mazda having plastic interiors but trashes other brands that have just a little plastic, because he likes Mazda's. Check out his other reviews, they are not good at all. I hope your daughter likes the Journey, it does seem nice.
Excellent video! Just bought one for my wife 7 months ago it’s an awd, I love it so much I’m selling my Silverado and getting one as well. There is more room for me as the driver in the journey then the Silverado. Just an FYI for large people.
I like ur honest opinion about Dodge Cuz frankly I think the same way about them, they were the worst american brand back in the 90s-2000s and IMO they can't make small engines to save they're life. I've seen to many neons, caravans and stratons with electrical problems and horrible oil consumption. Dodge seems to have gotten they're act together and are now making cars with higher quality than even competing brands like Ford and Chevy. I've currently bought from them a journey rt and a challenger rt and I'm extremely happy with them both and haven't had any problems but like u said, only time will tell. Great review BTW very honest done to earth.
Dodge os not the worst but is same as the others when you consider chevrolet chevette and then consider fords horrible pinto and fiesta. I agree that the neon and caravans in the dodge line are horrible junk. But this depends on what dodge product you buy such as the 94 to 2002 Dodge ram and Dakota with the cast iron 318 and 360 V8 is better than the Cadillac or anything!!! That 318-360 V8 of Dodge is 1960s engines. All motor companies sell literal JUNK no matter which one though. I have a 98 Dodge ram extended cab with the 318 cast iron V8 and I assure you that is no dodge neon or stratus or caravan. Now lets focus on this reality of I love my dodge ram but I would not want that dodge journey in the video because that all aluminum engine is an abortion which will be TROUBLE, but then consider so is the ford and chevy line of similar suvs as well
Earl Guyton I take your word for it on the trucks I just wouldn't trust any of Dodge's 4 cylinders or early v6's since I have seen lots of problems with them. I hate the 2.4l 4cylinder they have on some of the new cars they sell today, it just vibrates way to much and can give potential problems later on with motor mounts and worst still it comes with a 4 speed auto. On a side note I love the pentastar v6 and the new hemi's those are the real bread and butter of the modern Dodge.

The early V6s were made of cast iron and your ford ranger and explorer and mopar cast iron V6s were GOOD engines and so was general motors 4.3 cast iron V6. On that pentestar I would not vouch for that being it is 100% aluminum. Aluminum fluctuates and will present problems in gasket areas as well as fractures with spider vains. Manufacturers save money making these things out of aluminum rather than cast iron but the consumer pays big time. Aluminum is great of used for the right things, such as Oldsmobile and Cadillac during the 50s used aluminum for the tops of their cars this way the windshield area and back window never rusted and these brushed aluminum tops looked good
Dodge can't be the worst in Detroit u no there a 2015 auto show here in Detroit Michigan but dodge Chrysler and jeep they not that bad when when I go to drive well lol I'm 16 I drive without a license even tho thts dumb but in Detroit they buying a lot of dodges here even the Dodge chager R/T my bro got new thts a fast car but I took my time my cousins got that SUV my other cousin oh man he got tht 2015 challenger all green but dodge Chrysler and jeep in Detroit the cars we make here we trying to do something new to make that money
Dodge Journey 2014 is just a trash. My sister bought one almost 2 years ago and the vehicle since new started giving problems. The vehicle simple stop working out of nothing. The dealer thru this two years has been unable to fix it. Now they are rejecting my sister's complain saying it is her fault. I WILL NEVER EVER RECOMEND THIS PIECE OF TRASH TO ANYBODY. When mys sister bought this vehicle I told her that dodge has very bad reviews, problem with transmition, etc. beside we had another dodge which also has been a pile or problems and waste of money.
I haven't had any issues with it, I know 2 other people who brought it (although not 2014 model) and never had any issues. There's a disconnect between what people write about it online and reality. More often than not, if you look at past posts of people who trash talk a certain car brand to claim it's trash, they claim to own dozens of other model cars of the same brand in different posts, and all of them have issues. I don't know why they would buy every model if they're trash. It blows the mind. Oh wait, it's just internet trolling.
