What's not to love in this video? Ronnie Devoe has a good solo, which was not common in his NE days. The yellow & black, down to the shoes. Johnny's intense vocals were mixed in nicely. And Mike kinda broke it up nicely with his rap so we got a nice mixture of traditional R&B, pop, and hip-hop. Ralph was doing his moves, including his signature snake move. Lots of cameo appearances by Heavy D (RIP), Robert Townsend, the Boyz, Shanice, JJ Fad, Malcolm Jamal Warner, and Rob Stone. Fly choreography as always. Mike Bivins was reliable with his vocals as well - not too much but a nice balance between Ralph & Johnny. I'm so ready for this BET series to come out!

Chill on JG dancing 😂😂😂😂😂 we all know he was put on earth to sing not dance lol
BowlesMovement08 Thank you.
And to get the mood right and have the ladies put on that ol red dress and slip on them high heels and rub you the right way til you come up off that p###y 😵😬🤣😆😝🙌👏💯✌ yeah thats exactly what he was put here to do💥
Somehow it all works though
he never had to dance until NE -- that voice carried him through
You obviously haven't seen his Rub You The Right Way video. He was much better than this video.
Brings back memories, Robert Townsend the chauffeur he's so goofy
Ebony Cherie Yes!! Meteor Man and the five heartbeats were great flicks ✌️
1:07 The footwork is so addicting to watch, Ronnie IS the best dancer man
Everybody says Ronnie was the best dancer but I've always liked Ralph's dancing more.. he does it so effortlessly
I agree plus it shows how skilled he is because he has to SING most of the time, unlike RON. RT modeled himself after the one and only MJ and it shows.
Amari Hanifah DUH HIS UNCLE BROOKE PAYNE TOUGHT HIM.
Bobby Brown is ya dumb broads!
MaxB Rabiggs Yo mama
Amari Hanifah Ralph is a beast!!!
After 20 years Johnny G's age finally caught up to that fabulous voice of his. Always loved his and Ralph's vocals.
That's cause Jhonny be hanging with Eddie Murphy😹😹😿😿😹🤦🏾♀️
Ronnie is looking extra good. ❤😍
One of my Favorite videos by New Edition. They DID THIS ONE. Even the outifits and shoes were on point. LOVE IT even all these years later. Would like to see them perform this one at a Concert.
Yessss!
They did it at the end of the Legacy Tour. ❤
@@tinker2217 yes but only a little bit of the song.
@@ShugerPlum0263 very True. I’ve always liked the song but don’t know all the words to it.I just had to go look them up. Felt bad I couldn’t sing the last song with them. 😩😂
@@tinker2217 Shoot that's okay at least you got to experience these Legendary Brothers Live. 😊
i recorded this and would watch it everyday as a teen. i love Ronnie, get it yall
Ronnie looks weird without the curl.
Sea Pea yeah i liked the curl better too. but when the styles changed so did they. this is when high top fades and all that was in
Everyone talking about that slide but that snake thing at 3:03 was too legit
that have always been my favorite part, when I was a kid me, my cousins and 2 of my uncles who knew all the dances use to perform this allllll the time, and we still do for special family events and I always do that move lmfaoo
Right lol
Ong
Ralph's body just rolled with it just like a snake
I just noticed he gave us the coldest cabbage patch ever @1:19 tho. 🕺🏾
Ralph in this here video, lawd have mercy.. he was lit way before that was a thing.. he better get it!
Heavy D was like "yo bru, you want a piece of Biv, you gotta go thru me"😂 that part of the video was priceless!
Mike has so much swag here this is the best looking I've ever seen him
Ikr!! I love his fade. He had crazy swag in MTB sitting next too Puff also.
My aunt used to have NE: Past and Present (VHS/DVD) from back in the day. I used to watch them all the time after elementary school days in 1999 - 2000. I was 6 - 7 years old that time. That's when I was introduced to more old school music like keith sweat, jodeci, al b. sure, troop, chuckii booker etc. Ugh man, I'm so glad I belong to old school. REAL MUSIC NEVER DIES.
+Kevin Diyoka True KD you up on your shit Kid old school peace
*****
true LL
+Nani Wattz We considered anything 70's and 80's old school at that time. Maybe it was just us. On Hot 97 and Power 105, they always played 80's jams as part of the old school mix at noon :)
+kiddkevo Your aunt have good taste in music.
+kiddkevo That's nice to hear young man,you have good taste! Please check out my video here on youtube, please enter The Funk Prophet Music video...........Hope you like it!....Stay oldschool,it will help your future. Give you a point of reference............
Man if I keep watching 3:03 and 4:16 my eyes are gonna fall out, that damn Ralph and Mike!!! 😋😘😍😘
IKR. I could not do those moves then, and can't today. Damn!
Johnny Gill was doing his thing and he was also doing a good job too. And I really like his singing style too.

The mix match shoes was dope to me
Obey Amma I'm digging them too, their style is lit
