The thing to understand about these guys, the same with New Edition, these guys loved Motown, James Brown, all the funk, r&b, and soul of the 50’s through the 70’s, when they formed their group they did their version of everything they heard growing up. That in and of itself makes them great and legends in the own right. They did their homework and paid their dues, that’s why now generations are still falling in love with their music.
