He's a bit left for me but I do think he's highly intelligent. The level in which he can hold a conversation is intriguing which makes stereotyping null
John Doe you do know satanists don’t actually worship Satan right? They’re atheists, plus Christians are more vile than any “satanist” out there. But whatever keep being ignorant
@@uhicanexplain3858 in what part did I say any of that? That's why I specifically said Anton LaVey's satanic church. The reason I commented is because I read Manson's book where talks about all of the negative experiences he had in strict Christian schools &/or camps and his thoughts on religion. So I was surprised, and admittedly a little doubtful that he would speak empathetically of a figure that was central to his trauma. You need to calm down buddy.
This song LITERALLY saved my life 14 years ago. If it wasn't for him I would lirtallry be dead. This song will always have so much emotion for me. I'm ugly crying as I type this comment . Marilyn Manson literally saved my life!
I'm glad you are still here. I find it sad that people are close minded and don't understand that Marilyn Manson and music like his can act as a release for those that don't feel understood and can really help. Instead, he becomes a scapegoat for those that refuse to open their eyes - but those people are actually the problem, so of course they want to rid the world of those that point that out.
Like before watching, this song is history. The acoustic version is also great. About the video: "I used the assassination of JFK as a metaphor for America's obsession and worship of violence", he says. "Little did I know that the tragedy at Columbine and the accidental death of JFK Jr would follow. But it was telling to see the media shamelessly gorge itself on these events, which ultimately made my observations in the video even truer than I had originally imagined. This clip is in no way a mockery. It is a tribute to men like Jesus Christ and JFK who died at the hands of mankind's unquenchable thirst for violence."
"Mechanical Animals", "Antichrist Superstar" and "Holy Wood" are masterpieces. You can nearly hear every song from these albums. They all are dope as hell.
The mechanical animals album was a part of a triptych of 3 albums (holy wood, mechanical animals and Antichrist superstar) that all tell a massive complex story, you should listen to all three Albums and do research into them, it's very interesting
The man is so intelligent & talented it's almost sickening, lol. He always makes the listeners think which is something lost on a lot of popular music (he actually has a song about it called This Is The New Shit). The more Manson reactions, the better. Keep rocking out.
....that poor song is much too under-rated seeing as it is one of his best...my gloomy teenage self used to listen to it on repeat and it still gives me shivers....

This is one of my all-time Marilyn Manson favourites. As a teenager with depression, there was so much I could relate to in those lyrics and it made me realise I wasn't alone. I'd love to see you tackle Dope Hat from Portrait of an American Family next.
Bec Middleton I was suggesting "Lunchbox" and "Get Your Gunn" from that album but I'd love to see "Dope Hat" as well. I'd be happy with anything from that album though. It's my favorite Manson album. :)
Since you love the way Manson writes, you should check out his book The Long Hard Road Out of Hell. It's about his life, and is written amazingly. I read it so much that I'm on my third copy from them falling apart so much.
I'M SO EXCITED YOU PICKED THIS SONG! Lyrically this song is one of the most important songs to me. Please review Nine Inch Nails, especially since you are digging Manson. Pretty please!
This is my favorite Manson song by far. I’m not into the hip hop music at all but I came across your new series because I listen to MM a lot. I’m glad I started watching these videos. I enjoy seeing your insight on them. You are a very intelligent person.
I'm hearing most of these Manson songs for the first time with you, and so far I think this is my favorite. I will say, Manson's cover of "Sweet Dreams" is awesome.
Yay! So happy you reacted to coma white. It’s honestly one of my favorite songs of his. For future videos I highly recommend watching the dope show or mobscene. Those are my personal favorites. Also, if you ever get the chance to listen to a full album of his on your own I definitely would. His songs are all great on their own but when you listen to a full album it’s even better because they’re concept albums so you get the full story he’s trying to tell. My personal favorite album is mechanical animals. Love your reactions btw. Keep up the good work! You’re one of the very few people I’ve seen who notice Marilyn Manson for his intelligence and don’t just judge him straight off the bat for how he looks
One of my top 5 favorite albums ever. It is so well written both musically and lyrically. Unsung hero of the album is Ginger Fish - his drumming puts it together magnificently.
You're slowly becoming a metalhead 😊 I'm really proud, Marilyn Manson is one of my whole time favorite artists in the world! And seeing you wearing that Manson shirt made me smile like a lot 😂 Thanks for these videos, keep the good work!
Yeah, Manson's songs are all awesome. Since he had listened to Coma White, might at least listen to Coma Black, right? ;) Also, Target Audience is in my top favourite list as well!
Amazing catalogue of songs to check out, but I think it makes most sense to react to those with music videos. 'Long Hard Road Out of Hell' gets my vote
Indeed! All of Manson's MV videos are worth to check out! And Long Hard Road Out of Hell was my first video I watched from him too! Would love to recommend it too ^^
Yo. I’m a huge and long time fan of Manson and now you. You legit are perfect for this! Like other reaction channels have that awkward feel to it. You sir do not. You break down the songs perfectly! Keep posting! Just subbed and highly recommended others do too
So I recently found your youtube channel because I'm a metalhead so your reaction video to Pantera popped up in my recommendations. I've watched a few of your reactions and how well you understood the Manson songs you heard was impressive. I've been meaning to suggest this song for a minute but never got around to it (this is one of my favorite's of his) so when it showed up in my recommendations today I was crazy pumped. That's all, lol
I feel like bands like MM, disturbed, Korn, Rob zombie etc, they all hold deep meaningful, beautiful, soul touching lyrics in their work its what made me fall in love with their bands in the first place.
Hey Alex! It would be great if you react to some SYSTEM OF A DOWN Their style is very unique and i guess you’ll like them because of how melodic they are, nice voices, nice lyrics (most of the time haha) You could start with Aerials, Chop Suey, Soldier Side or... with anything really 😄
The song is really emotional. Coma White (the character) is based on Rose McGowan, on her usage of drugs (specifically cocaine), which was the reason she left Manson. Basically, Coma White = Rose McGowan.
i really like your reactions. you get deeper than just reacting. i would not have seen this song by manson or realize the depth\meaning of the lyrics! kudos
What I really like about Marilyn Manson is, that every album and every song in each album sounds different and has it's own "character" and story. He has so many awesome songs so I don't even know which one to suggest to you, but if you like the "softer" MM I would really recommend the albums mechanical animals and eat me, drink me :)
Been a Manson fan since 97. LOVE THIS SONG! Very cool to see a hip hop head react to it. Makes me happy you see the meaning behind it and like it bro! SUBSCRIBED!
Manson is great his first three albums there isn't a bad song on any of them in my opinion. I saw him in concert twice during the antichrist superstar tour and when he opened for slipknot three years back. Still fire 🔥🔥live 🤘💀🤘
Hi, great videos. It's refreshing to see someone not familiar with rock and heavy music open to it. It almost takes me back to when I first started to listen to it and got that feeling of wonder and discovery!
the genius in this album is listen to it yourself. try and work out which is Omega and which isn't. then get the cd. with the blue case and discover the hidden paths etc. for me, i love the 2 sides but love the end with coma whie, so much my band covered it at my own wedding lol
I really appreciate the energy and thought you bring to your reactions, you seem like a super positive dude - I've really enjoyed finding your channel.
you went in with this one, thanks for reacting to this, its literally one of my fav songs by him. I think if you like this type of introspective music from him than you may like Man That You Fear, the video is really visual backed by a some great lyrics. Keep it going man, and can't wait for the next one!
This is really one of my favourite songs of all time, I play it at nearly every gig I do. Very pleasing to see your open-minded & intelligent critique.
The Nobodies would be great. He's already listened to a Holy Wood song. If he really likes the Jesus/Kennedy connection, I think he'll like Lamb of God.
How do you even resist running to listen an album all the way through... I have such a love for Manson.. for the next video my vote go to Tourniquet, my personal favorite. I really like this series of video because you give him the perspective and depth he really deserves
first off watching your videos you came across rather annoying but i kept watching to see whats up. I don't find you initially annoying anymore, just genuine. I love watching you react to all these songs you've never heard before, songs that ive listened to time and time again and it's such a good feeling watching you get the same reaction and feeling from a song like this, its like reliving it through you. Marilyn manson's songs are beyond powerful, especially this album mechanical animals. I'm so happy you're experiencing them for the first time, because it changes you if you really dig into what manson stands for and then take in his music at the same time. looking forward to more!
I just now discovered your videos. I love seeing reactions to rock music from people who normally listen to other genres. I've been a fan of Marilyn Manson since I was a teenager. He pissed off parents. Shocked a lot of religious people. And caused a huge stir. These people that judged him rarely actually listened to the music. I grew up a Christian. And was seen as a fairly nice kid. So when I wore black clothes and listened to Marilyn Manson at sixteen, it shocked people I knew. I honestly loved his lyrics. They were great. And I felt like they were really relatable. And I didn't care about the theatrics or the other stuff really. That's why I liked him. Everything else was irrelevant to me. People would surprisingly say I didn't know he was so intelligent. I would reply with I did and tell them to actually listen to his songs. When this video came out I thought him being on the Cross was separate from the JFK thing. I thought it was more of a commentary on how people view him. He's "crucified" in the media no matter what he does. He gets blamed for this or that. Because he's "devil worshipping rocker". By the way he's an atheist. But that doesn't really matter to how people want to paint him. Marilyn Manson is definitely a great example of, don't judge a book by it's cover. He's smart, and very talented. I am glad you liked Coma White.
Alex, I have no idea why I'm enjoying your videos so much and keep watching them; must be the factor of knowing all of these songs by heart for such a long time. Therefore, you reacting to them for the first time feels a bit as a person reacting to my life so far, in a way. Sort of. Hmm. As everyone, I have some picks of mine for you to try: > Sepultura , "Roots" > Strapping Young Lad, "Detox" > Decapitated, "Carnival is Forever" > Fear Factory, "Archetype" > Devin Townsend Project, "Praise The Lowered" or basically anything by Slayer :) and afterwards, please move on to Sonic Youth, the band of my iife. have a good one, Alex. You're alright.
Rockforever forever While I'm not a fan of the song (or even the band), I actually second this suggestion. It's not my style but I will fully admit they are talented and this song is a great example.
Since he's reacting to Metal, he could always react to the cover by Leo Moracchioli. That dude is talented af, & makes some EPIC Metal covers. He's got a shit ton. If you've never heard of him, go check them out, and if you have heard of him, check them out again, because that's just how awesome he is. :)
An intelligent guy reacting to an intelligent genius. I'd never seen any off your vids until I was recommended your reaction to Going Under by Evanescence today and your energy was insane. Been working my way through your channel from your earliest vids since and I'm officially a *HEFNERD*
"It is a tribute to men like Jesus Christ and JFK who have died by the hand's of mankind because of their unquenchable thirst for violence." - Manson

Did he say that? Wtf? He's a satanist, like a literal satanist, and a priest in Anton LaVey's satanic church

He actually said he's not really a priest of satanism but that he's been involuntarily recruited.

I personaly love his debut, Portrait of an American Family. It's criminaly underrated.
I'm the first to comment, but you should also listen to Tourniquet by Marilyn Manson. It's another slowish song by him.
Aaron Wood I second that!
Aaron Wood my favorite
I wanna see his take on man that you fear, and see if he researches the story behind it.
That, or coma black is a kind of obvious one.
His voice also sounds so good in that song.
The fact that you are actually listening to the lyrics (not like some other RUclipsrs) is making me really happy. I’m Subscribing.

The Nobodies is a beautiful song, and if you react to the live version, Manson's voice on that is really great!
Eric Garzon Garnica the video is too good to pass up. Don’t do this one live.
Joshua Cannon true that!!

That's what I wanted to comment too!
Coma Black is amazing song dude, but Target Audience is my favourite Manson´s song so I agree with that.
Yeah, Manson's songs are all awesome. Since he had listened to Coma White, might at least listen to Coma Black, right? ;) Also, Target Audience is in my top favourite list as well!

It’s a cover, dude. Apoptygma Berzerk. Manson didn’t write these lyrics about Rose McGowan or anyone else
@@krash2fast99 bruh that's literally from a record called A Tribute to Marilyn Manson
i really like your reactions. you get deeper than just reacting. i would not have seen this song by manson or realize the depth\meaning of the lyrics!

Thank you for having such an open mind while listening to Manson. He truly is an artist.

Tim Urso Reign of Darkness was the first song that got me into extreme metal. Kick-Ass song
He should listen to the popular songs first and then the other ones
Tim Urso I love “big white world” it’s definitely one of my favourites!
This song gets me on a different level. He played this song live and I cried my ass off.

Coma black or great big white world 👍
first off watching your videos you came across rather annoying but i kept watching to see whats up.
It's pronounced Mc-GOW-an, not Mc-GO-an. And yes, this recreation is DOPE. One of my faves of his.
Hah idk? When it's OW you go 'ow'!
Instantly subscribing! I’m so glad RUclips recommended this to me!

In Flames - December Flower or Goliaths Disarm Their Davids
"Slayer - Repentless" i'm bot sure if you reacted to it already but it's a good song
I was a half year ago on a Marilyn Manson concert and he played coma white as the last song. Beautiful!
Arch Enemy - The Eagle Flies Alone
I've seen Marilyn Manson 3x and love the music and this IS and probably always will be my favorite song
You should check out 10,000 days by tool. Tool makes a lot of music with deeper meanings than first seems, really great works of art
Such a great reaction to one of my favorite songs of his! Subscribed! :)
Fell on Black Days by Soundgarden !
Alex,
I have no idea why I'm enjoying your videos so much and keep watching them; must be the factor of knowing all of these songs by heart for such a long time. Therefore, you reacting to them for the first time feels a bit as a person reacting to my life so far, in a way. Sort of. Hmm.
As everyone, I have some picks of mine for you to try:
> Sepultura , "Roots"
> Strapping Young Lad, "Detox"
> Decapitated, "Carnival is Forever"
> Fear Factory, "Archetype"
> Devin Townsend Project, "Praise The Lowered"
or basically anything by Slayer :)
and afterwards, please move on to Sonic Youth, the band of my iife.
have a good one, Alex. You're alright.
react to Marilyn Manson - Antichrist superstar

pantera- it makes them disappear , now theres a fat riff
My favourite Manson song. The lyrics, everything, is perfect!
Holy Wars. The Punishment Due. Nuff said.
Dope show, man that you fear and tourniquet are some of my top fave Manson songs!
*Wintersun - Sons Of Winter And Stars" Live at Sonic Pump Studio
I have been a fan of Marilyn Manson since I was about twenty years old. I am forty two and still absolutely love him.
Rise against-prayer of the refugee
NY Islanders12 he should definately do that but savior is better.
Lester Thompson true
LGI
Joe O'Neill yes yes yes!
Please no
coming back to his old vids for some of my favorite songs, he seems the same but so different at the same time
Love your videos. Please do Symphony of Destruction by Megadeth.
One of my favourites from Manson! Nice to see you react to it. I would love to see what you have to say about "man that you fear". 😁
Can you react to DIRE STRAITS - Sultans of Swing please ? Mark Knopfler is an underrated guitarist ! He's a great singer too
Rockforever forever While I'm not a fan of the song (or even the band), I actually second this suggestion.
I love his lyrics, and I just love his raspy voice. I’ve been a fan my whole life basically, I was born in 98’, had parents that listened to him ❤️
System of a Down!!!!!!
He's made plenty of those already. But more would always be nice. *€=*
An intelligent guy reacting to an intelligent genius. I'd never seen any off your vids until I was recommended your reaction to Going Under by Evanescence today and your energy was insane. Been working my way through your channel from your earliest vids since and I'm officially a *HEFNERD*
