Have the 2022 Rubicon with the “holy grail” 6-spd manual. It has two options 1.) Off Rod tires and 2.) Trailer Hitch package. It cost just under 45k. It’s the perfect tow vehicle, hauls people, pups and bicycles, bbq. Easy to tow and fully capable once you arrive at the campsite 🏕️.

Bought a 2023 Mojave at 15% off MSRP last Summer largely due to Ben's test reviews. This is my 5th 4wd truck. This is not your dad's 90's Jeep! I'm still amazed how smooth it is on and off-road. I'm a hunter so I may have more off-road miles than the average owner. There is no need to install bigger wheels and tires unless you do hardcore off-roading or want the look. If you haven't driven one it's difficult to explain how superior the Gladiator is compared to the competition.

Stellantis needs to get these down in the 40's. I live in a outdoor mountain town mecca of 100,000 people where these should be flying off the shelf. However, our local CJDR dealer has 47 currently in stock mostly 2023's.

Work at a Jeep dealer, we only have like 4 in stock cuz it’s not very popular, you would be amazed tho how little profit is in the cars, most of the new vehicles make 500-1500 total profit for the dealer and there has to be flat rate commissions of 250$ as a minimum you can get and you usually get only that selling one cuz the margins are so tiny. People think dealers are ripping them off but in reality the manufacturers are ripping the dealers off 😂

Gladiator was a huge opportunity for Jeep and they botched it. All they had to do was offer the 5.7 Hemi and they would have sold every one they could build. No larger bed option, small payload, so so V6, and Stellantis price gouging on top of that. Currently you can get 2023 Rubicons like this for 46k. Why would you pay 60k for a new grille and larger screen ? SMH

Something just discovered. MANY dealers or at least sales people do NOT know this. You can NO LONGER ORDER selec trac FULL TIME four wheel drive OR Rock Track FULL TIME four wheel drive (Rubicons) EXCEPT on X models on the dealers order software, never could on the public build site.
You might be able to get someone to notice if you mention it behind the scenes or up front. On Gladiators, Jeep has made improvements for 2024 lowering base MSRP's and adding some features... But, its other things like what I'm talking about that's a problem. I'm so glad I got a 2023 WITH Selec Trac full time 4WD AND limited slip. I know a few people scouring for 23's with them at this point, very angry as they don't want X versions or can't afford them.

    • @psd.3144

All the stellantis stuff is like that. Ford does the same thing. They know someone will buy the high price but dealers and the brand routinely have pretty big markdowns throughout the year with easy to get incentives. It is especially appealing for trucks since you can still get them at normal prices if you are willing to wait a bit.
