    On this channel we like to do a lot of dogfighting most videos are some sort of dogfight between 2 different aircraft as we explore their different capabilities. From time to time I like to dabble in Virtual Reality, I think VR is a great new technology and I love to show that stuff off for the channel from time to time.
    If you enjoy war thunder or Microsoft flight simulator 2020 or even dogfighting in Battlefield 2042, consider getting yourself into Digital Combat Simulator by Eagle Dynamics, the Combat side of Aviation with the BVR and Dogfights really provides a different and interesting perspective on aviation. You can fly all kinds of combat aircraft including the F-16, F-15, F-14, JF-17, Su-27, Mig-29, Mirage and the F-18 Hornet along with many other aircraft and helicopters like the Ka-50 and Mi-8.

    • @resurgam_b7
      @resurgam_b7 День назад +10

      Ignoring for a moment that the F-15 is airforce and the AIM-174 is navy so they will probably never meet 😭 the AIM-174 is enormous so even the impressively sized F-15 could probably still only hold 4 of them, maybe 6 if the ground crew was really creative but probably no more than that and she'd be sacrificing at least 12 AMRAAMs to do so. The F-15EX has a lot of hard points, but there's no getting around the physical size of a missile, so even if the plane was capable of lifting more, there likely just wouldn't be space to put them.
      Would be super cool though, going to bat with 8 or 10 of those suckers strapped to the airframe 🤩

    Ok, so hear me out. @GrowlingSidewinder in a single F-15EX. How many simultaneous 3rd generation fighters (like say, all F4s for example) could one take on? Is there a limit where you get overwhelmed? It’s like the old thought experiment how many house cats, or squirrels or whatever could you take on at once.

      Depends, how many Fox-3's is the EX bringing? Because that's likely your number. So, upper range would be 20.

    SO: How was your day, dear?
    GS: Pretty good. I flew one mission and became a double ace!

    That was another great mission!
    Some observations:
    Oddly, didn't see very many of the SU-27 kills eject, even though the Mig-29's pilots both survived. SU-27 much bigger airframe, I would think they would have a higher survival rate the the 29's.
    Also, the AAMRAMS upon launch seem to pitch down and corkscrew frequently although as you are higher the seem to launch normally.
    Just my .02, YMMV

    The F-15 is such a beast. It's the definition of brute force lol. Gonna need these birds plus the F-22s and F-35s when China comes swinging with those J-20's and J-35A's (which has an uncanny similarity to the F-35 in terms of shape). China also apparently has some sort of 6th gen, space-capable fighter called the "White Emperor" (I don't think this is verified though, just rumors and a photo atm), which sounds intimidating af lolol.
