- Hey guys after yesterdays stream seemed very interested in this topic, I decided to make a video going over three websites that have a decent amount of options in stock for building your own guitar. Good video. two days ago i won an auction for a Taos Blue MJT strat body and got all the hardware and electronics from stratosphere ( Search function is a bit of a mess as you said ...) . Also put an order for a luthier made neck. Hopefully it'll turn out great!
You won one??? That's amazing. Stratosphere has the best options but man I hate looking for things on there. They should really hire someone to organize that site better, it would be an immense help. Good luck on the build let me know how it comes out!

No, and the good news for you is they are all the way at the corner of the North East, so it's a pretty direct route to the UK. Shoot them an e-mail, i'm sure they'd give you a reasonable price!
Saw an interview with Stephen Pearcy where he brushes on the subject of broke bands in the early eighties fishing for reject bodies in Charvel's skip....a bit out there but maybe some truth in it
I think any story that sounds as ridiculous as that has to be true because... who in their right mind would make that up???
What about Warmoth ?
It's another option for sure, but they don't do nitro finishes so they never really appealed to me.

They did at the time, I built a left handed guitar for a friend using parts bought mainly from them.
