I had taken a guitar in to sell to GC and thought nothing about it. I get a knock on my door a week later from a detective. He informed me that I was being investigated for trafficking stolen goods! WTF? Thank GOD I saved the original receipts from when I bought it. It turned out that the dude who entered the number into the system is dyslexic or whatever, he transposed some numbers and they matched up with a stolen guitar. Same make, same model just two digits were backwards. So, if you're into the selling/buying of instruments, keep your receipts. I stick everything in a shoebox and forget about it. Hi Robert. Ten years ago I had around 165 guitars in my home; and 85+ amps. Just collected them over 30 years, or so. Thankfully my old age has cured my collecting. I'm down to around 30 guitars and maybe 15 amps. I keep and play only what I love.
Ive been playing since I was 15 and Im 57 and until about ten yrs ago I had owned only one electric and one acoustic..this is even with me having been in a working band...I just never thought I was a good enough player to deserve better guitars then about ten yrs ago I discovered that YT has an instructional vid for virtually any song Ive ever dreamed of playing and within a yr Id gotten so much better than Id ever been that I actually hauled off and bought a US strat...then I kept getting better and buying guitars, I got obsessed with learning everything about guitars and guitar companies. I never got up to the amount you describe but I got kind of carried away but I finally trimmed it down to the strat, a Flying V of course, an SG and my original Lotus electric from the early 80s plus some decent acoustics. It would be wild tho to have 165 at home, I literally might not even have space for that many! Imagine if you restrung them all at once youd need 165 packs of strings! 30's still a lot tho so dont feel bad.
Don't feel bad, I just finished another build the other day, bringing my collection up to 93 guitars. Not to worry though, my ex-fiancée gave up on trying to change me 25 years ago - so no issues with the wife.
I FINALLY got the 40th anniversary Jazzmaster. My wife finally agreed to let me get it. On sale for $300. I couldn't pass it up. You were 100% correct, it is amazing and inspiring.
Same here! What a great instrument. Bought one in „Desert Sand“ Upgraded it with a Mastery M1 Bridge and a Mastery Vibrato. It‘s now a hell of a guitar! I bought the 40th Anniversary Strat, and if the Jazzmaster is half as good as the Strat, then it is an awesome guitar. It was the best $300 I have ever spent.
Several years ago, a young man approached me in Guitar Center and said, “sir , I am getting married soon and am worried about my wife getting concerned about my guitar collection and my desire to buy more in the future. Do you have any suggestions for me?” I told him what a buddy shared with me “Buy all Fiesta Red guitars and have them all over the house…they are harder to count that way!” After telling me thanks, I asked him if he had any suggestions for me. He said his uncle told him, “buy as many empty guitar cases that you can afford and then sell off the cases each time your new guitar arrives”. Any that my friends in pure genius! I wish I had known this before I got married. (Sorry 5WW!):)
I'm happy to hear that the 80s course is in the works. I remember you talking about it years ago. Can't wait to see what it's all about ( I love 80s rock/metal)
I don’t know why I’ve never done this before, but I started figuring the licks/riffs that you’re playing in this video. Some great stuff in here. Like a free lesson. Gracias
My Birth year is 59 so I could only afford a LP Re-issue. I even looked for a LP Custom from my HS graduation year 1977 but after a year of looking I found a 1980 Black Beauty, heavy is an understatement. I love the color of your PRS DGI model.
Never been big on having multiple of the "same" guitar. In the cases where i do, the pickup config is so different they fill a completely different niche. Like my Tele ASAT classic and thinline deluxe, or my LP with humbuckers and my goldtop P90. The closest are my two strat styles with single coils but even there, one has a David Gilmour pickup/wiring setup and the other has gold foils. An ES 335 Lucille and a Brian May red special and I will have all my dream guitars.
Me too. I gotta say though I still find stuff through spending way more time than I should searching for lefties, I own around 20 guitars and I'm constantly flipping stuff but some are here to stay!
The cost of living here in Norway is insane, so buying another guitar is not an option. Luckily I have nine guitars, it’s way too many anyway. Three Gibsons, two Fenders, two Schecters, one Eastman and a Maybach. I’m good. Edit: did you just say «it’s just a normal Murphy Lab»? 😅
I have 13 and have filled every niche I think you can have. American strat, American tele, Gibson Les Paul, Gibson 335, Gibson Beato LP special double cut, a few Delonge Strats, an old PRS custom 22 with a hard tail, a 72 tele deluxe, an 1976 ovation acoustic, a few 80s Ibanez RG guitars for stuff with a floating trem… aside for an SG, can’t see anything else I’d ever need.
The correct number of guitars to have is the number you already have, plus one. Always. There is no such thing as too many. My lady just found out yesterday. I had 2 delivered on the same day, she lost her damn mind. 😂🤣😂🤣 Woman... don't tell me what to do with my own money. Deal with it. 😎
You have a beautiful collection. Man, I'm looking to pick up my 2nd electric guitar sometime this week. A 1993 Korean Epiphone Les Paul with a cherry sunburst. A real Oasis special. I have a soft spot for good Epiphone Les Pauls with the old headstock.
Robert, I’d like to hear you talk about pick-up height. I’m not a “rock” shredder, and stay away from traditional humbucker guitars, though I’m lucky enough to be a custodian of a Murphy lab SG custom. Your hums seem to be set low across the collection, and your tone is frankly lovely, so, I think it’d be educational to hear your thinking on the subject. Thanks!
I can't seem to get my strat pickups the right height. I've tried all the recommended heights and either EVERYONE is wrong or I just don't like strats. I don't know!
Hi Robert, I recently started building my own guitars- and I love it!!!!! It is really really fun- The coolest part is I get wood from crazy places, for example I have a piece of oak wood from a dam that was built across our local river- and it was built around the time of the civil war... So its a really cool piece of oak- Im going to build an explorer with it. So a few months ago I built an explorer body guitar with a single hot rail, no volume, just direct from pickup to output jack. The wood was from an old door frame from the old wood shop where I worked for my father when I was a little kid until in my 20s.... So the wood is this really old pine from an old building with real significance to me from my childhood...However- that guitar is CRAZY heavy!!!! It weighs 14 pounds!!!!! So, should I route out the back and make it way way lighter? The thing is- it sustains FOREVER!!!! That guitar right now sounds incredible! If I shave off a bunch of the wood, will it mess up the most amazing tone I have in any of my guitars? What is your heaviest guitar? I am guessing 9 pounds. Again, this thing is an explorer shaped body, solid Pine, 14 pounds- But it sustains for days!!!! Thanks for this killer video....
I topped out at 52 and now sitting around 48, I think. I moved a couple to make my last purchase. My collection is all over the map. Everything from $300ish to almost $4k. I've probably bought and sold about 15 guitars and kept the best of the "affordable" ones because they just play really well. I've got about a dozen that are truly investment worthy. I do play them but know they will be a better ROI than if I stuck that same money in the bank. Besides, you can't play and enjoy money the way you can and do with guitars!
5 guitars is a must. 2 soft tails E and E flat, 2 hard tails E and E flat. Plus one for for wierd or lower tunings. (that you don't care about setting up once a year,)
I went with 1 guitar for years and years because I couldnt afford any more, then i retired a few years back and picked up an Epiphone LP 60s Tribute plus. I then got a hankering for a strat type, so I bought a Harley Benton ST80. I was happy with that, then this year i won a Fender Player Plus strat in a draw. Then I won a PRS SE Silver Sky in another draw.....the HB went on reverb 😂.
I get so happy every time I see the Charvel, I know it'll be a good video. I played a Friedman Cali once, and it was the nicest feeling guitar I've ever played
Aw, man! Great collection! Thanks for sharing! That Martin sounds great! My dad also has an Alvarez Yiari, but it's a factory 9 string, and it sounds INCREDIBLE!!! I need to thin my herd a bit. Not enough space! Thanks again, Rob!
I've got six guitars and two basses, but I'm playing only one guitar and one bass on regular. E standard: Yamaha SL-500 (1985 Les Paul), S-Tune (2005 Jackson Dinky clone w/Floyd Rose), masterbuilt strat (2011, which I'm playing on regular basis) and masterbuilt 1994 superstrat w/FR-like tremolo, which is my first and only guitar till 2005. Eb standard: Greco strat (1975) and Ibanez RG350DX (2007) Basses are MiJ Fender Jazz Bass (1994 and 2002) for each tuning respectively. If I ever play in a band again, probably I will buy another guitar, because highly likely the band will play in different tuning, and I don't want to mess with tuning change on guitars I already own.
No brother it doesn't need to stop!!! If you're anything like myself, y'all need everyone of them each one has its own voice and each one inspires you in a different way!!!
Everytime I think I have too many guitars, too many amps etc. I just watch some of your videos and I dont feel so bad. In fact, I WANT MORE MORE MORE> Thanks for feeding my addiction, I hope your happy.
At one time my collection was much like yours. Last year I took note of what I play most. I tend to go to Telecaster type guitars(G&L ASAT’s) and not playing the Strat style guitars( G&L Legacy, S500’s and Comanche’s) so I sold them. I do play my PRS guitars( DGT and Paul’s guitar) kept those, I also have a Tanglewood DLX 15 ( made in England, not China). That guitar is VERY balanced and loud. I have installed a K&K western passive system. I now have all the bases covered with those guitars. My GAS IS GONE, hopeful it never comes back. Oh! I also have my perfect amp…. A SAMAMP VAC 12. 3,5,8,10,18 and 25 watts. Controlled by a switch and different watt light bulbs. Cheers!
I’m starting to figure out what DO I need and what don’t I need from my collection. I went nuts and did a spreadsheet. Found I have too many similar enough guitars that I can sell few of them. Also found I was missing a few things like I only had one semi-hollow/chambered guitar, a G&L Tribute ASAT Classic, and nothing with a piezo aside from my PRS acoustic. So I found a used Reverend Manta Ray 290 for not too much, and bought a new Schecter C-1 E/A (I tried the PRS Hollowbody w/piezo first, just didn’t feel it.) I also kind of went through “I have this, can I get something better, or similar for less?” Which led to me selling my Dano 12 string and getting the Squier Jazzmaster 12 for half the money I earned. I’m thinking of maybe swapping out my ‘57 Strat (AVRI) for a G&L Skyhawk, but I’m not sure since I’d probably have to sell a few other guitars to get it (the price jump from G&L Tributes to Made in Fullerton is nuts. G&L, can we get a Skyhawk Tribute?)
Love it brother!!!! I've got around 17 in my arsenal. I agree with you 💯 percent. Each guitar has its own feel, sound and use. All are loved, some are treasured. Enjoy your success. Also you know Gab loves em too!!!. Keep up the great work 🤘
Woah, nerding out on your collection. I’m also a collector of sorts. Where are your Supros? Resonators? Just kidding , but I love this rather obscure models.
I've played for 35 years and still play in cover bands. When I started I told myself buy a good guitar and just play it. I have a LP, Strat, Ibanez, PRS and a Takamine. Deluxe and Katana amp. That's it and that's enough. Probably more than enough. Tools of the trade, nothing more.
Rather than fix it, I traded a messed up old guitar for an American Vintage II Telecaster about a month ago. It is hands down the best guitar I've ever owned. It makes the Epiphone Dot, Schecter Omen and Charvel Model 3A I own seem like junk. I'll never be able to afford anything else close in quality and playability to the Tele, so I plan on treasuring it for what remains of my life.
I am pretty good at sneaking equipment in the back door and down the Hall to my jam room , if I buy her something nice she automatically goes and starts inspecting lol
I just bought my first SG, the Epiphone Custom Ebony. I'm kinda slapping myself for having a giant guitar collection and no career whatsoever in music. At the same time, this thing is awesome! It makes me play faster not having a heel to run into in the upper frets. I'm an LP fanatic, but there's a chance that might change.
A builder or mechanic does not feel bad for having lots of tools. It's how you make your living, so they're tools pretty much. However, if they're not getting used letting them go is worth considering, so somebody else can give the things some TLC and play time. That said I do not sell so much guitar gear these days, whereas I used to sell everything that was not being used. I am getting old and I am not well, so I do not have the funds to burn on guitar stuff like I did. What I do have I am hoarding, so it goes to my nephew when my bucket day arrives -- hopefully a good few years off yet. Therefore I tend to buy stuff considering if he would like it too.
You have a few that I just love! The tones that can make your soul shake gotta be something special! I’m still searching for. Strat that hits me in the feelers. Yeah your collection is just killer!
At one point I had a ridiculous amount of guitars as well as amplifiers and cabinets due to my love of the gear. I finally realized that I wasn't using a lot of the gear I had and started to thin out which I'm glad that I did. Guitars can be extremely addictive lol.
I keep and play what I think is the best of the best. You NEED three kinds of guitars really. One with fixed bridge and humbuckers( Les Paul, SG etc,), one with single coil pickups(Strats, of course), and an 80s style guitar with a mix of pickups, preferably high gain with a Floyd Rose and 24 frets( Jackson, Charvel, ESP, Ibanez) You NEED one amp with channel switching, I found the Marshall DSLs, EVH 5150s or Orange Rockerverbs are the best. Pedals you need overdrive, delay, reverb, wah and something phaser or flanger. Thats it for me
So many things I could comment on. Your KM is hands down my favorite guitar that you have shown. I really dig the DGT PRS model, but if you haven't you should try out the Ed King model. Yes that's right, on top of being an amazing guitarist Ed King had a PRS signature guitar! One thing that makes it unique is that it has three pickups. Two humbuckers and a single coil in the middle, and the same switching system that Ibanez developed. Amazing guitar but not to my taste. I have a PRS S2 McCarty 594. What can I say I love em all but at the end of the day I'm a hardtail singlecut guy. Love your playing, I've learned a lot from your lessons. I highly recommend them.
My drummer owned a MINT firebird over 30 years ago, banjo keys no tremolo, not sure what year but late 60s i think. He sold it cheap, I tried to talk him out of it. Now I show him how much it would be worth today, he just says shutup.
I have shopped a few times at tall toad. You're right it's a great mom and pop guitar store They give you great deals and they're really cool. I have boughten some supplies there and once I wanted to get a BC Rich but somebody picked it up before me because they have such great deals. Cool episode Nice seeing what you got! You've got an awesome collection and I love your playing by the way You're very subtle but you know a lot more than people realize! Keep up the good work 👍
My Martin D37 was my 1st really good guitar I bought(at about your age) after I got my Strat. I always wanted a Martin and there it was at my local music store in the Chicago suburb in which I lived at teh time
I currently have 58 guitars in my collection, although I play around 3 of them pretty regularly. Wouldn't mind selling the others but it takes time and effort to do so.
I have mostly managed to get over my gear addiction but videos like this could cause a relapse at any moment. (trying hard not to set Reverb as my browser home page....hands are getting shaky)
My favourite guitars are Gibsons: Firebirds and Explorers. I have a Trini Lopez, 61 SG standard, Les Paul classic, a flying v, Reverse Firebird, non reverse Firebird, 3 Gibson Explorers and a 4th Explorer in the post on the way as I type. That's just the Gibsons. Somedays it makes me feel sick and other days I think what the hell. 1st world problems.
Hey Robert! Never comment, but I gotta tell you, with your Firebird, you can put a few strings through the trem and a few still on the bridge to do a little B bender action. Or BG bender or anything lol. Did it on my sg and it’s fun!
I was up to 23 at the peak of my sickness. I'm down to 8. I made a rule for myself that works pretty good. If I want another one, then one has to go. Not necessarily sold for cash, maybe a trade for something else, a piece of rack gear or a nice mic, for instance. I figure that a Strat, Tele, Les Paul, and some kind of righteous acoustic is enough. Those 4 really cover the needs. Everything else is wants. Likewise for amps. A little single ended cathode bias tube rectified pee wee thing covers the Tweed Champ thing, then some kind of larger clean Fender type for the Blackface thing, and something that can hold its own with a drummer who's an ape. That one needs to do clean and dirty. If you have those, your arsenal is complete. The bases are overed. The rest is fluff.
Pickup recommendation for ya, Lambertones Crema!!! Absolutely Wonderful PUPs. Lower output PAF type with fantastic clarity and drives very well. Sounds fab driven while being very articulate. Would like to hear your thoughts after checking them out for a while. Cheers!
Since you're already wired for Fishman pickups - maybe it would be worth a quick try to check out Fishman's Javier Reyes signature set which might be just what you're looking for. "Javier Reyes - live at The NAMM Show 2020 - Fishman Fluence" is the title of a demo he did explaining and demonstrating how he wanted his pickups to not only be voiced but how they respond to his playing, dynamically. He's using an 8 string guitar in the demo but its construction is very similar to your Acacia so it should compare favorably with your platform.
I tried a Frankie but was turned off by the fake painted on worn paint marks. Really cheapened the thing to me. Opted for a Wolfgang special I'm very happy with
Love it, totally enjoyed this video. I was wondering if you kept the Murphy 'Bird since you bought Uncle Larry's but I figured having one you can take anywhere is not a bad thing either!
Awesome video. Did you get rid of the les paul custom? I've got one really nice guitar and two cheaper but not too bad guitars. Got two amps. Thinking about getting a really good amp. But i also sorta want another really nice guitar so for now I'm still saving up.
It’s comforting to see that I am not the only one who enjoys collecting guitars and amps. I sometimes feel guilty that I spend so much on guitars…only sometimes.
Since 2015 I own one guitar... a LP Studio. I modded it and keep modding it, but I never bought another one. Not really sure why I never bought a Jazzmaster or a Strat... I mean you can get a squire for the price of a new pick up. Somehow I never left a guitar store with one. I'm probably waiting for something that flashes me like the Studio back then...
I had 20 guitars at one point, 16 electrics, 3 acoustic, and 1 bass.. I have trimmed it down to 10 in total.. 7 electrics, 2 acoustic and 1 bass. Too many guitars starts to feel meaningless. You don't give them the attention and playing they need.
I see you installed the quarter on your EVH guitar. But did you install the correct one? Same date and mint makers mark? Has to be the same to get 100% sound. Pffff lol.
What an “ awesome collection” I’m not a huge fan of Super Strats but you certainly have some classics. I’ve been Gassing since 1970 and currently have 57 guitars, 10 Amps, 2 drum kits and 5 basses. I retired in 2018 and have been selling off the collection, it is hard out there so many “ low ballers “ offering piss poor offers. Sign of the times I guess. I want to shave it down to 12 guitars ( my most played ) and 2 Amps. Australia is a tough market nobody has any money and some of what I’m selling is not well known ( Fender/ Gibson ) are really popular but that’s the limit of the general public. Aria, Washburn, B&G and exotic brands are hard to sell.
Have 8 guitars, 6 electrics, 1 bass & 1 acoustic. Guitars that I never would've ever said would be the one's I would or did end up with. And I did it on a budget of a Fender Player Series MiM at pre-pandemic price. All 8 < than a Fender Player MSRP & on sale or whatever month has or doesn't have a holiday. They aren't grail guitars to be coveted by anyone, unless they saw Jeff Beck playing one of them, obviously before he passed away. Only regret ? I created a collection of maintenance. Strings are 9's, 9.5's, 10's for electrics. 12's for the acoustic, 45's for the short scale bass.
Any of Jim Wagner Pickups for your Acacia, kickass pickups. Dirty Dog or The Honeymaker pups by Pariah, I have several models all are great pups . Thornbucker II by Suhr are awesome as well. Love that guitar!
I've cut my collection down to four electrics, a bass and an acoustic. GAS is a dangerous thing.
Yeah, especially if it’s something you didn’t know was a thing, and it’s not made anymore and I’m like, “oh man… wait, are any on Reverb?” Most of the time it’s just priced out of my range, and sometimes, it’s not too much and I don’t have the money, so it’s either “What can I sell, and not regret later…? Ugh.”
Same, cut mine down to 20 electrics 7 acoustics four basses and a lap steel😂😅
That’s nearly the same as me one bass, one acoustic , 4 electrics and one more in loan to someone.
I don't know man. I can't think of a better thing to spend my hard earned money on than new gear (or repairs etc). Buy 20 sofas? I'm not saying buy blindly or without thinking... just what else would I buy? 🙂

I’m a guitar nerd too that’s why I’m here. Enjoy your videos and your an awesome player.
Excellent video. I am down to 25 and a banjo after paring down.
I don't like to mod my guitars meanwhile he pulls out a b-bender
5 guitars is a must. 2 soft tails E and E flat, 2 hard tails E and E flat. Plus one for for wierd or lower tunings. (that you don't care about setting up once a year,)
I sympathize. I was just pricing one of those D’Addario bulk string boxes and I realized I needed 2 😳
Thanks Robert. Really love your 'insight' type videos. You're so generous with your time. Best wishes from Western Australia.
Great to see how you do justice to all the different styles of guitars when playing them👌
I get so happy every time I see the Charvel, I know it'll be a good video.
When I die, I hope my wife doesn’t sell my guitars for what I told her they cost😅
I joking said that to my other half , I think the game is up
😂😂😂😂😂😂
I've got six guitars and two basses, but I'm playing only one guitar and one bass on regular.
E standard: Yamaha SL-500 (1985 Les Paul), S-Tune (2005 Jackson Dinky clone w/Floyd Rose), masterbuilt strat (2011, which I'm playing on regular basis) and masterbuilt 1994 superstrat w/FR-like tremolo, which is my first and only guitar till 2005.
Eb standard: Greco strat (1975) and Ibanez RG350DX (2007)
Basses are MiJ Fender Jazz Bass (1994 and 2002) for each tuning respectively.
Exactly, I didn't know why people had more than one or two guitars, I do now
Everyone has their thing.
Everytime I think I have too many guitars, too many amps etc. I just watch some of your videos and I dont feel so bad. In fact, I WANT MORE MORE MORE> Thanks for feeding my addiction, I hope your happy.
Great guitar collection. Pretty cool that your dad played too!!
Cheers!
Awesome to see all those memories you have. I've got a few myself, but sure do miss my L6S, black beauty 😢
So I found a used Reverend Manta Ray 290 for not too much, and bought a new Schecter C-1 E/A (I tried the PRS Hollowbody w/piezo first, just didn’t feel it.)
I also kind of went through “I have this, can I get something better, or similar for less?” Which led to me selling my Dano 12 string and getting the Squier Jazzmaster 12 for half the money I earned.
Me too, man. I have mastered the art. Though sometimes when she comes down (mine is in the finished basement) I get a little nervous….
Sweet! What a great collection, Robert! Wooooo!
You're almost there. You just need one more!
Preaching to the guitar choir man, well done.
Hey man….thanks for sharing your collection with us. I’m a total geek too and I enjoyed it! Cheers Rob!
Same. Bought one of the new Iceman... Icemans... Icemen? yesterday, should arrive tomorrow. I really should sell some of my dustier guitars.
Thats it for me
I cant say it too many times. Your explorer is hands down my favorite guitar that you own. Its tone is absolutely gobsmacking.
The neck on that Ibanzez super Strat looks huge!
Yeah buddy I now have 3 vintage Ibanez RGs…550, 770, 560 love em all. If you like Gibsons you really should try a Dean.
My drummer owned a MINT firebird over 30 years ago, banjo keys no tremolo, not sure what year but late 60s i think. He sold it cheap, I tried to talk him out of it. Now I show him how much it would be worth today, he just says shutup.
I’ve bought stuff at Tall Toad. It’s in a small town an hour north of SF. Super decent store for being in a small town.
i had the same with firebirds i play mostly sgs and lps but the firebird is such a comfortable guitar
Keep up the good work 👍
Congrats on all the guitars. Great collection.
My Martin D37 was my 1st really good guitar I bought(at about your age) after I got my Strat. I always wanted a Martin and there it was at my local music store in the Chicago suburb in which I lived at teh time
Rob, that Acacia looks nice. Being 70's looking, I'd chuck some DiMarzio cream super distortions in there LOL.
I currently have 58 guitars in my collection, although I play around 3 of them pretty regularly. Wouldn't mind selling the others but it takes time and effort to do so.
Recently a friend asked me how many guitars I have now, "I'd rather not say.."
@@Pj32SrI'm not sure I follow? I'm not currently selling any guitars. Selling a couple amps though.
Cheers!
Excellent video, Robert. Really enjoyed that one. 👍
The 1963 Strat - my birth year!! 😍🤘
Nice glad I was wrong about that Charvel. Happy you kept it.
Awesome video. Did you get rid of the les paul custom?
I've got one really nice guitar and two cheaper but not too bad guitars. Got two amps. Thinking about getting a really good amp. But i also sorta want another really nice guitar so for now I'm still saving up.
Love your videos. Watch them daily at my lunchtime. Good stuff. Thanks Robert. Oh, and great collection too.
Thanks for showing off it was cool!
I see you installed the quarter on your EVH guitar. But did you install the correct one? Same date and mint makers mark? Has to be the same to get 100% sound. Pffff lol.
Dimarzio Fortitude for the acacia. Vintage pickup sounding pickups that are amazing. Mojotone Johnny Winter Firebird pickups. You will love them.
Man, I'd give my life for that yellow Ibanez. What a babe !!
I don't even play guitar... I just love guitar culture and music history. Thanks for the Insights...
Sounds like youve got a passion for it. Go do yourself the favor and grab one for yourself.
Thanks for showing the video. The guitar chooses the player but the player makes the vibe and brother you have the vibe!😊
I've had 40+ electrics but just ONE Yairi acoustic since 1996. Never found a better cutaway dreadnaught ever
My fav, 63 Strat hands down.
Hey Robert. Wow those Friedman guitars are' that good". I love that Friedman hss strat style and I'm a Tele boy.
I HAVE 60+ GUITARS. The last one to go (if I had too) would be the 1962 Fender Jaguar my Father bought me that year.
I too have GAS and someday more of it will be in my tank! Congrats, for a young guy , you’ve done quite well!
Any of Jim Wagner Pickups for your Acacia, kickass pickups.
Dirty Dog or The Honeymaker pups by Pariah, I have several models all are great pups .
Thornbucker II by Suhr are awesome as well.
Love that guitar!
Does the Strat still have the original radius or did you have it changed during the neck work?
My top 3 picks for you: '63 Strat, KM Les Paul, 63 Firebird.
Awesome stuff Robert! Love that '63 Fiirebird!
