Hi samuraiguitarist and samuraijenny! After watching this, I wanted to tell you about my wife. I just wrote this to a stranger asking opinions on purchasing a Les Paul. While writing this I thought I should share it with you also. Read if you want. I know it’s a little lengthy. Hey Paul! I’m Philip from CA. If it has to be a USA, this probably won’t help you, but I’m just going to leave this here anyway. Cheers! There are collector pieces and player pieces. Also there are Epiphone, and Orville Les Pauls. I know Gibson is #1 but have you seen all 2020 Epiphone reviews? it’s pretty crazy. First of all, the headstocks! Right!?! The first one that caught my eye was the Worn Purple Classic. Then I saw it at a store, I almost bought it. It has the worn finish that for me feels so much better to play. And it was purple! I did not buy it because I have too many guitars. I like non traditional colors as well as the classics. The next one that caught my eye, the Joe Bonamassa Black Beauty. Wow! BLACK!GOLD!THREE!CUSTOM! And, these 2020 Epis are brand new which means they’re available at easy payments with zero interest! I did not buy it because I have too many guitars. I didn’t come as close to buying it as the purple Classic but i was really thinking about it for a while. And finally the Caribbean. THIS THING IS AWESOME! it’s got all the features, and I couldn’t stop looking at it. I asked my wife to buy this for me!!!!!! I showed her the payment plans and SHE SAID YES!!!!! Now I had the “excuse to myself,” I’m not buying this one, it’s a gift. I added the Caribbean to the shopping cart and waited for its stock arrival date. I wish i could say I did not buy it because I have too many guitars. But the truth is, i didn’t buy it because it never came back in stock. Also, it’s good that I didn’t buy it because have too many guitars. My wife’s cool. I gotta show this to samuraig. (He just posted some cool stuff about partners and guitars). Anyway the Epiphone 2020s. They are ALL so worth it. I would go for one of these if I didn’t have too many already. Just by how nice they play, the parts used, and the headstock. I really would like a 2020 EPI. But I know I do not need it. Another observation. Remember these are all opinions and I do not mean to harm any with them. It’s just my personal observation, but when speaking of big brother G, most people say a lot of the newer products under around the 1.5k mark aren’t that great, and we seem to be paying for just the name. BUT, in my personal experience, I own a Series 2 M2, and it plays great. I love it. I believe that’s the most inexpensive USA to ever be sold by them, and I have no complaints. I know that it technically isn’t a Les Paul, but I’m referring to the makers. If I was looking for like a special, or worn, studio, or jr, and couldn’t really try before I buy, I would want one made in the 90s. Again, that’s just my opinion. And I just really felt like writing tonight. I hope you end up with an AWESOME Lester Paul. My wife’s name: Jennifer.

I grew up playing a Fender F15, purchased at the original L&M store on Corydon. Still have it. Now I have an F65 I picked up at the Salvation Army store. It's my busking guitar. Looks and sounds great. Those old Fender acoustics are underrated. Tough and toney.
One acoustic, one or two electrics, maybe a bass guitar... that's all a guitarist really needs. For a touring musician, one additional backup guitar. Anything beyond that is just a waste of money.
The name Stratocaster comes from the allure of the stratosphere during the space race. 4:41 a bullet is the part that gets shot out the end of a gun. What you’re referring to are cartridges. Probably .50 bmg spent cartridges that’ve been turned into guitar knobs.

SammyG, thanks for sharing your guitar collection. My favorites of your guitars are (3:40) because of the decor; (9:10) because it has a life of its own; (9:35) because it looks like my Fender American Pro Tele; and (22:24) because it's your dad's classical guitar that he rocked-on playing three-chords songs for you when you were a baby. Up until you shared past pictures of yourself at (14:44), (19:38), and (22:45) I thought that you intentionally shaped your eyebrows to look like they do. Nice that in one video we saw a short video of you as a baby with your dad (22:45) and a picture of you and your baby son (24:26) whom you and Samurai Jenny affectionately call "the Boy"
Man, I've scrolled passed this video over and over feeling like this'll be one of those "look at all the cool guitars I have!" that's likely to go in one ear and out the other. But, wow, it brought a lot of warm genuine smiles in my face.
In the 50+ years I've been fooling around on guitar I have had a Silvertone acoustic (my 1st guitar), a Silvertone Electric, an Ovation 12-string acoustic, a Gibson Marauder, 3 Les Pauls, 3 Fender Strats, a Squier Strat, a 335, a Telecaster and a Fender Bucket-T acoustic. Up until a few years ago I couldn't afford more than one guitar for my "collection." Now I actually have the only three I think are necessary - a Les Paul, an ES-335 and a Strat. (Had the Tele but it just didn't do it for me). Nice collection Sammy. And it's always nice to see Samurai Jenny. Cheers...
I've done the paper-clip challenge with a friend, I actually ended up with the guts of a JCM800 combo! Edit: I've restored the combo & my friend still has his broken lawn mower.
First I am not the famous steve morse. I have gotten my collection down to only four: a Godin Nylon Multiac, a great classical, a D-18 Martin and a great Les Paul. I have owned over 50 guitars over the last 30 years but as an amateur I feel grateful for having such great instruments. I have struggled with double GAS syndrome for ages and spent a crazy amount of money at my local guitar shop; double because whilst saving money I ate a lot of pretty basic foods including beans....spraats! You have a great collection thanks for showing them to us.
Enjoy your videos. Glad to see I'm not the only person that's holding on to a late 80s fender USA strat. Their great as far as I can tell sound good and play great .
I'm more impressed that you have a couch big enough to put all the guitars on. Not even Malmsteen was capable of that and pretty much all of his guitars are piled against a wall.

Man, I've scrolled passed this video over and over feeling like this'll be one of those "look at all the cool guitars I have!" that's likely to go in one ear and out the other. But, wow, it brought a lot of warm genuine smiles in my face.
Underrated fact: he is wearing different socks.
You're a lucky man Sammy G ! A lot of nice guitars and a very understanding better half, a happy little family.
Gosh. Your living room is larger than the square footage of my house!
I don’t think that is a living room, looks like it’s their TV/recreational room downstairs based on the staircase and lack of windows
Congratulations Dad 🎉🎊🎉🎊🎉🎊🎉 After raising 3 of my own it's the toughest job you'll ever love.
"playing without frets is kinda hard"
Violins, Cellos, Double Basses, Contra Basses, Violas: 'first time?'
This is so cool haha!!! But probably you would have better worked in that time, and earned your money on that way, or wasn’t it that time consuming?
Love how GuitarJenny was freaking out with you about the guitar slide!!! :D
samurai holding a guitar while wearing a shirt of samurai with the same guitar
That tears it! Seeing your strats makes me actually want one.
Thank you for these wonderful videos man. You rock!
Me, who has one guitar: 👁👄👁
Good to see the fender acoustic got a happy ending, spent a long time sitting around but now it is played often.
"Alright I've watched youtube for 2 hours, time to sign off!!'

"hey youtube im back"
I remember that reverse flying-v! Glad you're doing well man!
You inspire me to get a tele
Teles are king.
I have exactly half the number guitars you have and am now inspired to add to the arsenal. Rock on!!!!
I would not be able to look at the reversed guitars without thinking "I wonder how much weed I can get for those?"
9:46 That is the most Canadian story I’ve ever heard
Does the order or the
lack there of he goes throught the guitars bother you.
I LOVE that reverse Flying V. It’s beautiful.
I think he likes guitar
First I am not the famous steve morse. I have gotten my collection down to only four: a Godin Nylon Multiac, a great classical, a D-18 Martin and a great Les Paul. I have owned over 50 guitars over the last 30 years but as an amateur I feel grateful for having such great instruments. I have struggled with double GAS syndrome for ages and spent a crazy amount of money at my local guitar shop; double because whilst saving money I ate a lot of pretty basic foods including beans....spraats! You have a great collection thanks for showing them to us.
Can I have my bass back?
Enjoy your videos. Glad to see I'm not the only person that's holding on to a late 80s fender USA strat. Their great as far as I can tell sound good and play great .
“Whoever dies with the most guitars wins.” Psalms 4:20
I found a 420 number!
The Hunt went nice today
I'm more impressed that you have a couch big enough to put all the guitars on. Not even Malmsteen was capable of that and pretty much all of his guitars are piled against a wall.

That Hockey Stick Guitar is the most Canadian thing I’ve ever seen
Having children has helped me keep my guitar count under twenty.
