Hey Shane, thanks for the shout out. As for the tuners, they are the original one pin ones that came with the neck, I prefer headstocks not to have multiple holes from different tuners, but if someone is commissioning a build they can spec out pretty much anything they want 🙂
I liked em all. The only one I had some reservations about is the Kiesel. I'm not a fan. As a lefty, when I find one I like, I never sell it. I'm old so I've got 65 guitars in my stable currently. ABout 20 minimum are going up for grabs at GC very soon. Much easier to sell to them for a little less and it's hassle free. Several Strats, Teles, and LP's will be going there in the next weeks. Likely a 335 or 3 as well. It's time to lighten the stable. It's been a good run over the decades, but old guys don't need this many instruments. LOL Thanks for the show Shane...nice stuff. I love your Tokai.
Very nice, but your missing an EVH-Wolfgang Special. I thought that by now you would have discovered this amazing guitar. It´s not only for "metal shredding" as most people think, its amazing for all sorts of rock, blues, jazz and anything you can imagine.
@@intheblues Check out the "Standard" version , as it costs less money but still has ALL the great qualities as the Special version. Cheers and congrats on your collection. I enjoy seeing your cool videos and honest reviews. Cheers
I really like your Kiesels, especially the last one - the semi-hollow. This is a great video and like always you inspire this lefty here. Rock on, Shane!
Great collection . I love that black guard Tele and the HB Fusion and im a Strat guy also . I got the DSL 40 a couple of months back and im going to get my Stratocaster refretted in stainless as ive owned it 25 years now , so its never leaving my ownership .
The Fusion T25th was such a surprise for me. The guitar sounds arguably better than Seymour Duncans i put in my other guitar, the neck is the nicest neck I've ever player (including guitars 7-8 times it's price). The only issues I had personally, was with the bridge discoloring easily, but considering what you get for the price, it's not even worth a mention. You easily get a 1200$ guitar for 1/3 of the price, and as a Leftie, that means a lot.
Awesome collection Shane. 🤩🎸 Bummer to hear that your old place had the humidity issues. I'm fighting that in Coastal Nor-Cal as well. I even run a dehumidifier in my garage... gotta baby those motorcycles. lol
Thanks Shane for the shout-out - you've got an awesome collection - and for all your videos, they are so instructive! As a lefty myself, I have a question regarding Les Paul Custom models: do you know why Gibson offer those guitars with RH necks?? I have been considering buying a 54 Gold Top VOS reissue or a LS Special Double Cut TV Yellow and they all have the "Les Paul model" upside down on the headstock and marking dots on both sides of binding. Is it for historical reasons? Thanks and regards from Belgium. Renaud
Sweet! I have just bought the Fender Clapton Strat, which I think is similar spec to yours. You mentioned using the centre pickup on another video. FWIW Clapton mainly plays using that configuration. You seem a fairly big fan Teles. I don't (yet) have one but if you're looking for topics, would be interested in a video of a decent Thinline Tele. I didn't know much about them but can't argue with the tone Tab Benoit gets just plugged straight into a couple of amps!!!!
It was a high-humidity area, and the cupboards were always the worst. I kept my cameras in an area with Silica Gel packets when I wasn't using them. It was bad for about 4-5 months a year and I am glad to be out of there! :)
Great video and cool collection Shane! I’d love to hear them all through clean and overdriven amps to hear the tonal differences. Would be a long video though!
Always love your videos. Found you initially on the Lace Sensor demos. So well done. …but not a single name for any guitar? That feels like bad mojo to not name your “girls”. lol
I really like it that you don't just have the standards. Gibson and Fender custom shop guitars. You've got quite a few guitars that sound great and aren't very expensive.
Fellow Lefty here, super cool video, and super jealous of your collection! We are so limited on our choices. Also, my newest guitar is Epiphone Koria Flying V 1959 reissued... and I love it!
Nice collection Shane ! I will own a Little Crow one day !! Love the old Tele too , I've yet to try the Joe Bardon's but soon !! Have a great weekend mate !
interesting that your AO50's strat still has the sticky neck. I have the very same strat (right hand) and love the look of it that transparent blonde revealing the ash wood is amazing. However - mine is sticky no more. it just needed to age and run-in. I was really sick of the stickiness. But regular polishing with the dry soft cloth (until I felt the neck pretty warm) helped to get rid of the stickiness. Same with my AO 60's tele..
Hey I was just watching someone's trick to make all your switch tips stop falling off, no glue no paper just a pair of cutters to take a bite out of the short sides to give teeth to the shaft for the plastic tip to grab onto. Make sense? Pair of needle nose pliers has cutters. Make a couple little notches on your switch, and slide the tip back on. Shouldn't budge.
The TE-52 is the best inexpensive one, but the Fusion T in this video and their other Fusion T models are the best HBs I have played. They make one with a reverse headstock that's also very good, and it's lightweight.
I enjoy your videos. Always great. But there is one thing I don't understand today; why buying expensive guitar if you dislike the original product and then change some parts?
All of the mods are done as necessary at the time. The frets get changed when they wear too low to change, and if the pickups stink in the live mix, they also get changed. Some of this is stuff you will find out in the store or once you play it for a few years. Most of the guitars are unmodded.
About 4 years ago or so now, it was a great guitar. I might end up getting another one at some point in time. The American Original one is the only Strat I've been using the last few years since I got it.
Thanks to Sweetwater for sponsoring this video. I've put timestamps to each section in the description box and if you want to check out the Shure SM7B Microphone pack check it out here on Sweetwater - sweetwater.sjv.io/6e6JBm

That makes sense, it's not a huge issue but those tuners will no doubt get replaced down the track. Thanks again, Jason - the guitars are wild.
That green Fish-hook T looks fantastic!

No worries, man! Thanks for your help with that one!
Thank you. As a lefty myself, I was taking mental notes in between drooling.
Love the wide variety of brands and functionality of each guitar on your collection!

The Fishhook green Tele type is stunning ❤
Just got this guitar. Can’t wait to set it up and play.

Thanks, Robert. Its easily my best guitar in terms of playability. It's a beautiful guitar to play. Thanks mate. All the best.

So awesome to have a gear channel that happens to be lefty. Its so special to be with my own kind. Not even kidding.
Thanks, man!
Good to see some of the guitars are still in the collection. I will wonder what all the ones that have moved on are doing now......
Heheh! ;o)

That strat!!!!! 🙌
Some excellent pieces here, Shane. You have great taste.

You are the reason I purchased a set of JBE pickups. How do you not have a Cole Clark acoustic?
I'm so glad that I don't get jealous. I use guitars adapted for arthritis so there would be little point owning the larger necked ones!

Shane, you NEED a Gretsch.
He HAD 1 back in the day!
I never owned a Gretsch.
@@intheblues I remember you demoing 1 some years back.
Nice guitar roundup. Your old house musst have been a swamp, how did your amps cameras and computers survive this?
It was a high-humidity area, and the cupboards were always the worst. I kept my cameras in an area with Silica Gel packets when I wasn't using them. It was bad for about 4-5 months a year and I am glad to be out of there! :)

I like how call your tokai Alice, it’s beautiful and rare in the UK the colour and tone blows me away 👍
I wouldn't worry too much if folks think ur a Gibson hater or not brother... Gibby owners will find a reason lol. Good vid
Nice review, keep it up! ;) I have 5 guitars, including a bass and an acoustic. -) One of the Stratocasters turns 22 years old this year, although as I heard, this is generally not an age for a guitar. I bought it new and modified it, replacing all the electronics with Seymour Duncan ones. I call it Pewter Special, after Red Special, Dr. Bri. The Strat itself cost only 400 bucks in those days. And nothing else matters! © ;)
So it goes!
Nice collection Shane ! I will own a Little Crow one day !! Love the old Tele too , I've yet to try the Joe Bardon's but soon !! Have a great weekend mate !
Thanks, Todd! They are cool guitars, I will be using it more now its finally fixed. Have a great weekend, mate.

Hey Shane! Thanks for showing us your collection! Did you get rid of your Artist 58 (335 copy)? Or was that a loan guitar?
I can't remember. I borrowed a black one that went back and I also ended up moving on the red one because I had a Tokai guitar at the time.
The 3x3 headstock on your Kiesal is my favorite of all the kiesel headstock designs
Hi Shane I'm interested to know what XLR adapter you are using on your camera, brand etc. Cheers Craig.
It's the Panasonic DMW-XLR adapter for the LUMIX cameras.

How heavy is your Strat?
I still miss that Tokai ES-335 you had a few years back.
I have a 2011 tokai 335 on my channel if you want one to look at 🤪
Can you tell me the model number of your Harley Benton telecaster? - thanks Shane! Great collection you have!

bro you need to get a bc rich warlock or ironbird and some 7 and 8 strings for some deathcore

It was posted as a Live Premiere, and it takes a few hours for the live chat and comments to process for playback.
Great collection! But, Gretsch?
I need to sort that out at some point!
Did you sell your MIM strat?
About 4 years ago or so now, it was a great guitar. I might end up getting another one at some point in time. The American Original one is the only Strat I've been using the last few years since I got it.

Yeah, a while back. I loved the bridge pickup and the weight of the guitar, but I wasn't using it enough.
