Why does no one else hold a candle to this guys content ? Thank you for this you literally answered several questions I’ve spent months trying to answer with this video.
Cause he’s an OG! Shane’s a true professional and has the Aussie touch. I co-write over Zoom with a lot of Aussies cause they’re generally less competitive and more collaborative than many of my US cowrites.

Still think your playing is awesome, Been following this channel a few yrs now, My Daughter moved to Australia ans I`m hoping to go visit and it would be awesome to see you jammin somewhere, You have to be one of my all time favorite gear channels, love everything you do, You have helped me make many decisions on gear, Thank you.....
I never tought of putting a psu standing like u do on a pt mini...it kind a open up my mind and gimme an idea for my next mini pedalboard ampless rig project. Thnx alot and happy new year 2023
Wow, great video. I can see I have been out of the gear world in 2002 after watching this! Sooo much cool gear I was not aware of. Terrific year-end summary.
epiphone makes really really good semi hollows and hollowbodies. gibson stopped making semi hollow and hollows except for 335s. epiphone is really picking up the slack when it comes to that style. i played my friends gibson 335 and then my riviera and the riviera felt and sounded better
Awesome 2022 wrap up, Shane... only seems like yesterday I was watching you run through last year's line up review. But what a year of gear! Great time to be a guitarist, we're getting spoiled..
2022 seemed to be a blur!!!! Thank you Shane for all your hard work producing (and of course Rhyannon for being a great cameraman 😊). Along with the big named brands that we all love to love and hate, I enjoy when you present lesser known brands, whether its pedals, or a guitar. I recently purchased an absolutely amazing pedal by Sabbadius, the Filmore East Funky Vibe and it is everything I love in boutique gear!! Like Missing Link Audio or Caline, I find that these are the pedals I enjoy playing through and keep wanting to play more. As we get closer to another year, hopefully we can celebrate this channel going way over 200k subscribers!! You do amazing work here Shane and I definitely want to thank you for everything you do!!! Cheers mate, and to another great year!!!🎸🎸🎸🎸😎😎😎🤙🏾
Another killer year done Shane! Been a sub for many years now. This was a great watch actually. I dont normally watch these types of clips but this was really good. Looking forward to next year, keep up the good work. You're a pro man
Great lineup of products. Yea, I haven't been getting video updates from your channel. Well, I've re-subscribed & clicked the "All" option again, so hopefully I'll start getting more updates from here. Cheers..
Thanks Shane! Harley Benton rules! And when you make it back to the States head up to Retro Music in Keene NH. Jeff Firestone has been accumulating guitars for 40 years at least. It's a trip!
Hello Shane hello from 🇭🇷 Croatia, man, wish you all well happy Christmas holidays you are your family and all people who are in your mind ☃️🎸☮️🍯🍀👽👽👀💯🏝️🏞️🌋🦎🐲🍻🍻🥂 cheers!
As always, you seem to give everything fair consideration. Love the multiple price points too. I bought an Epi 335 last year, and its going to be a keeper for me, didn't think I would say that.
As a busker playing acoustic guitar, I didn't give much attention to your vdo at first, now I'm glad I did. Very informative and entertaining. BTW, has anyone ever told you that you look quite serious when playing but seem like a good guy when talking?!
Always enjoy your channel - always good content and straightforward presentation. Shame about the SS22 though - mine in almost 5yrs old now - got in late-ish 2018 - and never been a problem. So far, anyway 🤞🙂. It’s a very versatile little amp, but sounds like there may well by QC issues. By the way, have you ever tried any Victory amps?
Great review video. You round them up fast so I appreciate the links and time stamps! I watched beginning to end. Now I’ll go back and pick and choose!

That tele was very interesting, indeed! Thanks so much for having me on this year, mate, it was a highlight. Here's hoping we can catch up again sometime in the new year!
I got my Lefty Revstar RSSL20 in Swift Blue last month finally and it's a wonderful guitar. Your video is enticing me to pick up the Element version of the Revstar too. Thanks for all your hard work with getting the videos out to us.
Great video, so many interesting products and so much useful info - thanks so much for putting in all the work that I'm sure making this video required - very professional, well paced, and fun to watch - plus lots of new and interesting information for me to digest! I agree 100% about the underwhelming neck pickup on the 40th Anniversary Squier Telecaster Gold Edition - it really is puzzling how such a well-finished, beautiful and comfortable guitar could include such a muddy and weak neck pickup. As you mentioned, the bridge pickup is very nice. I ended up selling mine (black & gold version), because, although it cost $600, it didn't sound nearly as good as my $150 Squier Bullet Telecaster! Also thanks for recommending the PAL800-V3 GOLD Overdrive pedal. I did not know aboutthis one, but I'm going to get one, based on your recommendation.
@@shuster1921 What don’t you get? Sure, it’s an easy pickup change, but paying for a superior pickup isn't easy, at least not for everyone. And changing a pickup doesn’t explain how Fender could choose to put such an underwhelming neck pickup in a special edition guitar that they produced that is their most expensive Squier model. Nor why the neck pickup on their $150 Squier Bullet Telecaster is far superior.
I recently acquired a Chinese ES-335 and it had Blue Rock pickups in it. The only reference that I could find was some single coils built in Australia. Being as how you are from Australia have you heard of or know where I can get info on these pickups? Thanks for your time.
Well done love it ... Just one suggestion since most viewers are right handed you may reverse or mirror the camera and you will appear to us as right handed.
Hi my friend I like your channel and I liked your segment on great guitar shops. I saw your original episode about Walt Grace and it was excellent. Your viewers really need to look it up and enjoy it!
