I've always enjoyed this channel. It's humorous and informative. I've personally gotten a lot out of the "habits of" series. You've worked very hard to put your channel among the most watched youtube guitar series. Don't ever let anyone give you grief for having a ton of nice gear. You didn't steal it from anybody. You have a blessed life, and that's to be applauded and appreciated, not resented. Keith over at 5w World just dropped a video about slimming down his amp collection. It might be cool if you did a "desert island 3" video or something like that. If, God forbid, the house was on fire, which 3 guitars are you saving? Which amp? Keep on.
I feel satisfied that this has consistently been a channel worth my time. I had your Super system on that old platform and it was great I need to get around to getting the new one. You are the real deal Tyler. Your love of music drives you and that shines through all the time. I hope you and Mrs. enjoy your new home😁🎶
Tyler, keep doing what you do. I've been absent from guitar playing for a few years now but you inspire me to pick it back up. Once my newborn is a bit older I plan on subbing to your course.
Since finding your channel you have inspired this 38 year old guy to take lessons, buy gear, and become almost obsessed with playing. While I’m not very musically inclined plying wise I am trying really hard. Your collection is amazing now if I can play 10 percent as good as you…I’ll be ok
@@TeensierPython Hi, still going strong still going to lessons bi monthly. I’ve come such a long way in 2.5 years. Just keep practicing. What worked best for me is listening to the actual song and play along with it. I found timing and trying to time chord changes to be my biggest hurdle. It still takes me hours and hours to learn new songs. Don’t get frustrated and play what you like because if start playing songs you don’t like, forget it you’ll lose interest. I went through that with my teacher who was making me play jazz and I just said nope not interested. Give me blue and rock and I’m good.
Beautiful collection. Don’t apologize for your success, the way you play speaks to the hours and hours of practice you put in. I really enjoy the channel.
Man I love your videos. I’ll keep watching them. Partly because they’re entertaining but mostly because you’re one hell of a guitar player. You’ve helped me get better. Keep rockin man
I have a handful of favourite artists/musicians and a favourite band. However, when watching Tyler play guitar, I see the hard work that he has put into his career/hobby and I see no other musician in the way I see Tyler. It's hard to explain in words but seeing him play guitar is like seeing what you can become with hard work which not enough of us do. Hes an inspiration and a great guy. I'm sure we can all agree we will love you till the end and beyond!! Thank you Tyler.
You are the reason I bought a PRS. I was (still am) a beginner and I've learned quite a bit on that guitar. I don't think it'll ever see the inside of a guitar shop again. It's my baby.
Haters?? Okay that’s a sign you are a very weak individual who lumps any form of genuine criticism as “hate” how about you grow some balls and actually acknowledge criticism instead of finding any way to ignore it?? Just a thought.
That message was really raw and made me view you in a different light than I had before. Thank you for being honest with your audience and just talking like a real person. A lot of RUclipsrs have a hard time turning it off. New found respect for you, Tyler.

I really loved your intro, I think your sincerity came off in waves. As someone who watched you for a long time (originally in a begrudging fashion growing into a legit appreciation) I think that the content you are making has grown with your audience, and we with you. I also do miss the little skits with your wife you did that got you started and think it would be cool to see that kind of thing again. You've never lost that vibe at all. Given we are about the same age, I'm glad to see that you also are finding accountability to be the wonderfully freeing thing that true adults have at their disposal. I can hear the difference in how you talk. You deserve everything you have, man. I will look out for you in Seattle guitar shops :)
So proud of you Tyler. You are incredibly humble and genuinely care and think about your audience and we all love you. Keep being yourself, because without you being yourself this channel wouldn't be as entertaining, as joyful, and as meaningful

Keep shreddin’! 🎸🤘

And now i love the sounds i can get from it. so your advice helped alot keep up the good work
I don't go with that logic of equality. I say the ones who need and are seriously motivated to continue need it most. Dunno how many hours of my students' time was wasted on people in a class just to be there. If I could only have the truly motivated, it would benefit their knowledge base better.
Better random than rewarding someone for making up a sob story to get a guitar. Besides, there aren't a ton of people that can walk into a guitar shop and just buy a $2000 guitar, or even one for half of that, without thinking real hard about it or planning/saving for it. The students that are eligible all have an enthusiasm for the instrument. That should be enough to be gifted a guitar if they are so lucky to win one.
On the bright side, when you can afford them, you don't really want one that somebody gives away, you want the one you want. Maybe that will give more people who can't afford what they want a chance.

Talking to your past self:
Your past self: So how many guitars do you have?
You: Yes
Which past self? He said he traded 13 guitars for that custom shop Fender.
I love the way you arranged everything , am amazed every time I watch this video !!!
You‘re one of my absolute favorite guitar youtubers just in general! I honestly do not understand the haters!
I want to know Adam Neely's reaction to how the basses are stored.
I just realised that he doesn't have an Ibanez in his collection.
He bought a fretless one for a video but he also destroyed it after
@@ryanijan4296 And that made me sad. I loved the finish on that one.
or a steinberger, evh wolfgang, I could name others
Oh damn thats true
I think we can assume he has played a couple before and must not like them enough to buy one. I’ve played a few and am not a fan.
I hella enjoyed this man, i love your Music Man Cutlass a lot! I also never paid attention to PRS, but i will be checking them out now :)
I had to put a bib on to finish this video. You are a very blessed dude, glad you recognize that. Thank you for your content! Always enjoyable and knowledgeable ✌
God Forbid Tyler spend his money on nice stuff. Not his fault people like him and invest in his work and give him gear to advance his business. Like any one of us would turn down the opportunity if any of us put in the time and effort to build what he has built.
I can't begin to express how much I respect you for taking criticism and addressing changes you want to make for everyone who views the channel, though I hope you don't take any of it too seriously. Keep doing you Tyler
I used to have 14 guitars. Played only 2 of them. Sold the rest, spent than money on vocal lessons. Ah... Money well spent)
Yeah Idk about that one
@@tbheat397 He only played two of them…So its best he sold it chief

You’re awesome dude, keep up the rock n’ roll! Much love from Australia
To me I have 2, a real fancy Epiphone, and this 12 year old beat up Cort strat shape. That beat up Cort just feels better. It’s always the feel than the look
the H.E.R. strat is such a good looking instrument
Gotta love the blue on blue
I’m not a fan it sort of looks tacky but then he was comparing it to a hole bunch of PRS’s
Me watching the “honest message”: jUsT sHoW mE tHe cOlLeCtiOn aLrEAdy!”
But for real, I’ve watched your channel for probably a year or so and love it. Thank you, Tyler, for putting your time and effort into making content for us. ❤️
I'm still playing a MIJ '62 tele I bought at Mr. Music 22 years ago! Love your videos keep 'em coming!!
I just started at 41.
How’s it going for you now?
@@TeensierPython Hi, still going strong still going to lessons bi monthly. I’ve come such a long way in 2.5 years. Just keep practicing. What worked best for me is listening to the actual song and play along with it. I found timing and trying to time chord changes to be my biggest hurdle. It still takes me hours and hours to learn new songs. Don’t get frustrated and play what you like because if start playing songs you don’t like, forget it you’ll lose interest. I went through that with my teacher who was making me play jazz and I just said nope not interested. Give me blue and rock and I’m good.
@@michaeldemarco899 awesome to hear!
this guy is living the live man, beautiful wife and everyone’s dream guitar collection
He might be depressed. There's no way to know
Living the live?? I loving living the live don’t like living the life though.
How many PRS guitars does one need for full-on happiness?
Tyler: Yes.
He's a little lacking on Fenders and Gibsons, but the ones he has are awesome
Beautiful collection. Don’t apologize for your success, the way you play speaks to the hours and hours of practice you put in. I really enjoy the channel.
Beautifully expressed brother. Very sincere keep up the amazing work.
"It has an extremely unique tone and sound to my collection" *proceeds to not play it* I'm talking about the 12 string
Right?
You are the reason I bought a PRS. I was (still am) a beginner and I've learned quite a bit on that guitar. I don't think it'll ever see the inside of a guitar shop again. It's my baby.
I want to let you know, you are one of my favorite youtubers! Forget the haters, keep it up, I love you man, you are amazing
You should learn a whole song left-handed
But why?
I'm a lefty and play even right handed guitars left handed.

I enjoy the channel and your fun way of doing the vids. Keep it up Mate
I can only imagine what Tyler pays for home insurance.

Don't need no stinking insurance. It is a tool of the paranoia devil.
LOL, I hope he is smart enough to be paying for homeowners insurance.
@@murdermuseum8280 yes that means nothing. Money doesn't make you smart
I’ve been a sub for a while now. Your content has improved a lot. Some of your old videos are a bit awkward and too serious, but you have gotten a lot more comfortable behind the camera. Keep up the good work!
i have been subbed for years and i still love ur content
I like the channel the way it is. Good job on the success bro.
Congrats on the new studio man! I know you will make epic and enlightening content there, just as you always have. Cheers
I will look out for you in Seattle guitar shops :)
thanks also.. for giving us so much good info on playing and enjoying our love for music and guitars..
The score is lovely. :) Awesome studio brotha!
So proud of you Tyler. You are incredibly humble and genuinely care and think about your audience and we all love you. Keep being yourself, because without you being yourself this channel wouldn't be as entertaining, as joyful, and as meaningful
That past-future wipe was one of the coolest, most beautiful and envy-inducing things I’ve recently seen, maybe ever. Honestly love your channel and the work you put into it. Keep it up!! Respect 🙏🏼🙏🏼
I subscribe to 5 channels. Yours is one. Also, I love that you showcase PRS. It’s my second favorite guitar maker after Fender IMHO.
I respect this video so much. Most people wouldn't bother accepting criticism when they've made it where you have. I've learned a lot from your videos and always enjoy watching new ones.
For me, this is one of my favorite channels, regardless of whether PRS or Donner is featured. The videos are consistently outstanding!
Great collection Tyler! Still enough to add though, no flying v’s and explorers? And only one LP Lol! You have a great channel and you show great character. Happy for you to be privileged like this. For the future of the channel my tip for you is that quality is not in always offering the best, biggest, most expensive, extravagant but to bring across your and our shared passion for guitars, gear, techniques and tones. Keep shreddin’! 🎸🤘
I don’t know how this released 6 months ago and I’m just now watching it. When I am bored on RUclips or need new ideas for songs to attempt , your page is my go to. Music is fucking win.
Hey i love the content. im trash on a guitar but i still have a go. been trying to get message in a bottle lick to sound right for ages but i have progressed i can play a few blockparty licks an a little maiden. i used your tips about trying a guitar or two at the store and checking things like comfort and feeling like a vibe. i went with idea of getting a strat style hss and ended up choosing a squire classic vibe jaguar. And now i love the sounds i can get from it. so your advice helped alot keep up the good work
Don’t give the guitars away randomly…. Choose someone who can’t afford them. Btw great initiative.
Most times people who can't afford them don't need them. They'll probably break it.
