Thank you so very much! I literally just bought a new Land Cruiser and I an irritated after driving it for an hour!!!! It’s like having a mother nagging at me. It even told me to pay attention to my driving when I was adjusting the air conditioned seats. 🤦🏻‍♀️. And same dinged because my arm was in the way!!!! These cars are becoming too intrusive!!!!

Thanks Steve. Once you change the Vehicle Settings like you showed, are they saved persistently? I am considering buying a new Land Cruiser..and just recently drove a different high-end make/model hybrid with the most annoying driver assist warnings/alerts AND the settings were not persistent. Literally every time you started the vehicle up, you had to go hunt down the settings and turn them off. Thankfully it was only a rental for a week! Would never want to own something like that.

I'd put it to the right of the mirror, but make sure it is clear of the stippling so the reader has a clear view of it.

So does turning the driver recording off and the driver monitoring assist off does that disable your traffic jam and lane assist and all that stuff as well or will I still be able to use those with the driver record and alert off? Thanks 😊

It only turns off the traffic jam assist. The rest are active

What happens if you keep the alerts on but turn off DMC recording? Does Traffic Jam Assist still work? What does the DMC recording record?

I can only guess what is being recorded. I'm assuming it is a short loop that would only be important in the event of a collision.

That’s a really good question and I’m not sure. We just sold the one that I used for a demo so I can’t check it right now. My goes odds that it stays off but I can’t guarantee that
