  • Hi guys! In this video we will go over the new 12.3-in. LCD gauge cluster which is partnered with the new software system Toyota has rolled out in most, not all, of its vehicles for 2023 and on. We expect this to be the staple system in every car very soon.
    Some common names for this gauge cluster are:
    *12.3-in. Color Multi-info Display
    *12.3-in. LCD gauge cluster
    Please enjoy going over how to customize the cluster and MID to fit you perfectly! This is not standard yet, it is still optional equipment.

    Brian my TPMS keeps reverting to next in line options randomly. Shut of truck or put in park and it changes. Not all the time, but does it lots. Stays on the screen while driving, but when you shift to park it may change on me or may not. Shut truck off and some times it changes and then randomly goes back to TPMS . So annoying, dealer is looking into this, but no response yet - had been 4 weeks. Any thoughts of this happing to your vehicles? If this is software intentional, that mean every time I get in my truck or at least most of the time I have to change my setting. No cool Toyota!

    Brian, have you heard of issues of the pressure gauge screen disappearing after setting it on a one of the gauges. It occurs with in a day of setting it. I’m wondering if there are other owners of 24 Grand Highlanders that have experienced that?

    Brian you do a great job with your tutorials, You go slowly, You review. You don't assume your audience knows some of the steps needed; you explain them all. You pause and explain so many questions that come while you are talking. You anticipate where the challenges will be for your listener and try to simplify it as much as possible. I have learned so much that saves me volumes of time trying to understand the car manuals.

    When I choose to set the "Tires pressure" picture (reguadless its location) and then start/restart the car, this "Tires pressure" picture doesN'T come up, and another picture is displayed instead (e.g. navigation).

One thing I will most definitely miss is the availability of the trusty 2.5 4 cylinder with the 8 speed automatic transmission! I understand those with the hybrid system, I completely understand that! But I would definitely consider a 2025 Camry XSE with the black and blue interior over the cockpit red. On the lower right side where the fuel gauge is, it says KM/hr. How do you change that?

    • @brianruperti
      @brianruperti  9 месяцев назад

      If you can, it would be in the settings menu on the MID, then speedo cluster settings, then units

      @@brianruperti what is a "speedo cluster settings"? I don't see that option in the settings menu. Also, what does the number for KM/hr represent? Is it the speed of the car?

    • @brianruperti
      @brianruperti  10 месяцев назад

      Yes however the left gauge will just show charge>eco>power instead of RPMs and a couple other info options will show, regarding the hybrid system. 90% the same stuff here.

    So, when I change the right side display on page 3 to tire pressure, it will stay on that for the duration of the drive. When I start the car the next time, that display is blank and I have to go in and re-add it? Any thoughts on this?

    • @brianruperti
      @brianruperti  6 месяцев назад

      It should stay on there. Not sure why it would go blank I’ll have to look into this

    • @brianruperti
      @brianruperti  6 месяцев назад

      Make sure you are hitting the select button after choosing tire pressure monitor, then pushing the back button 1-2x to escape the edit menu, this may help.

    • @lannym
      @lannym 6 месяцев назад

      I’ve tried hitting the back button to exit out of the menu, and I’ve also tried just letting it naturally time out of the edit menu and either way when I start the car, it’s gone back to the blank screen.

      @@dedrickenriquez5615 I found that as long as I check off any other field in the far right menu, then tire pressure will stay.
