Steve, I really appreciate your videos. I’ve learned quite a bit about my ‘23 Toyota Corolla Hatchback XSE. I’ve read all the manuals (that took months), but your videos are so much easier to follow. My car will start listening whenever I say Hey anything. My wife has noticed that this microphone is quieter than my old ‘13 Scion tC RS 8.0. She has to turn up the volume in her car to hear me. I’m very happy you also touch in the differences between the models on how the system works. That helps me with future purchases. My only demur is that my older Apple iPods (pre lightning cable) will not connect to the system. That is by design by Toyota. I wish Toyota would publish a list of what devices will connect. Anyway great job on your videos. If I lived in your area, I’d be a customer.
Another excellent tutorial. Thanks, Steve!
Hi Steve,
Thank you so much for making these videos! I have learned so much about my Toyota by watching your videos. You have a very easy-to-follow video format and you make watching them fun and easy. Thank you again and keep making these awesome Toyota-How-To videos!
Thank you for your clear and detailed tutorials.
That was helpful. Thanks!
Another great tutorial Steve!
Another comment. You mentioned a microphone on each side of cab. I have those but there is another object behind those mikes, look like microphones but a little bigger. What are those my Toyota dealer didn’t know. Again thanks for the great video.
It took checking with our shop foreman, but those are microphones for the active noise cancelling system.
Hi, I gave the voice command like “what is the temperature now” or some other simple commands, I got the error “Network busy. Please try again later”. You know what to fix this? Thanks.
Thanks for the video. I have looked everywhere and even asked my local Toyota dealer. If I say HEY TOYOTA turn my wipers on it does but only for one swipe. I can’t find anything on this for keeping them on longer.
So here's the funny thing. I had no idea it would do this. It is NOT in the owner's manual. That is a true Easter egg. I think the only reason it doesn't do more is because the wipers are on a hard switch while other functions are on digital switches. It can do a single pass because that doesn't conflict with the position of the column mounted stalk switch. Good find.
Thanks for checking
Does the 2024 rav4 xle awd premium have kick sensor to open the back door?
No. Only the Limited and XSE have that available and only then with the Advanced Tech package.
Question.. my 2021 4runner has the weather under the menu than hit the info button.
Is there a way to see forecasted weather report on the 2024 Land Cruiser?
@@supersoup5509 the Land Cruiser has CarPlay and Android auto so that gets real easy. Just press and hold the voice command button for three seconds and ask for the forecast
Hi Steve. I noticed in my 2021 Highlander Limited in bought used recently that it did not come with a CD player. Have CD players in vehicles gone away in the new cars? Thanks.
@@bp39047 yes. Nothing since 2020 has one
@@TrainerSteveClifford Went the way of the cassette player I had in my 2006 Highlander Limited. Sirrus XM has replaced them.
Wait so if your phones connected you cant talk to the car anymore? Not even for temperature or radio changing?
Yes you can. That talk button is used for both. Press and quickly release and you’re talking to the car… temp and radio stations for instance. Press and hold for three seconds and you’re talking to your phone… Siri or Google assistant
Hi my Toyota assistant constantly replies I don't think I understand you. How do I fix this please driving me crazy in my new 2022 corolla
It is possible that your microphone is defective. I’ve seen it before. If you’re confident that you’re speaking clearly and are using a valid command, take it to the dealer
@@TrainerSteveClifford OK thank you, do you know would it cost much to fix
Has anyone figured out how to get rid of the blue Experience Drive Connect page, beside subscribing to the service?
Nope. Also can't get rid of Apple Music and Amazon Music as possible music sources.
Those corporations paid for that privilege
Any way to change hey toyotas voice? She always sounds irritated.
