I actually have V68. I'm apart of the PTC but this is the fastest I've received an update as I only heard about this last night via Luna's Twitter. The Quest 3 has gotten so much better since launched and I had it since day one.
Yesterday, I was telling my Manager about VR and their headsets and when I was asking about comparisons, I mentioned he go to your channel. Now he's buying one after viewing a number of your videos 😂 You're my immediate go-to for everything VR tech. Thanks!
Got it on sale here in Canada about 2 weeks ago. Walmart had it at $100 off so $500CAD for the 128gb. I got it to replace my aging and frustrating Reverb G2 and I do not regret it one bit. Everything has been so frictionless compared to my experience on WMR that the only thing I regret is not switching sooner.
Quest 3 128gb was for as low as £350 today from Argos with some vouchers that is INSANE ! I paid £479 at launch and UK generally gets no hardware discounts because Brexit and EU import tax....
As a Vision Pro user this is a big update for Quest 3, I actually dont think theres a reason to buy any other headset in the current market over Quest 3.

dimmer off passthrough while in ar was one of my biggest "complaint", but the biggest one still remains not be able with a gesture to lock and unlock hand tracking inputs. i mean, with these 2 features watching content will become one of the best usage for quest 3, as it isn't yet rn. for watching long movies in streaming i'm actually using spatial app which allows me to do these 2 specific things, despite of other missing features that og quest os has instead

Where are you getting the number update V68? It does not exist as far as my new Quest 3 update status is shown. There is only the V67 available at this time. kind Regards.

I don't get the beam pro. You have a cellphone with a display. Now you have it on another display, but you still need to use the cellphone for input. What's the point?

How is the latency for pcvr wireless vs cabled? I have a rift s and i really want to upgrade as i now have a 4070ti but i dont know whether to get a quest 3 or go for a pcvr headset that has a display port.
So funny, now Meta has competition from Apple, they start to do software update as crazy! What a demonstration that their Metaverse approach failed and how bad their UI/UX is for such a big tech player.
Their UX is fine. It's the fact they don't have eye tracking helping the hand tracking. They were gonna make all these updates anyway And their metaverse is coming along nicely. Horizon runs very smooth and explores ideas with very intuitive quality When was the last time you used Horizon?

A bug I found in V67 is that when you have the new window mode screen in maximize mode, Bluetooth controllers won’t work for some reason. Anyone else get this? Ok I watched the video now.
New cursors for the UI... shame they are still off center from the controllers though. They need to fix that, its beyond annoying having the cursor pointing off to the side when it should be pointing straight, it forces you to curl your hand inward all the time when you have a normal grip on the controller. They dismissed all the forum posts after being reported, but it was never fixed.
@@Tay_NewNerd What version did Q3 start on? like v57, so 10 updates and this is something that should have been known before release since its more than obvious to anyone just holding the controllers in front of them as well as them having 2 previous versions, and they directly interacted with their own forums where people reported it multiple times claiming it was addressed and closing the reports down even though it wasn't addressed at all... You shouldn't make excuses for multi billion $$$ companies, you called out Apple so don't act like one of their fanboys as well, it doesn't help to get things fixed. If you like something you should be critical of its flaws especially if you want it to get better.
I bought a Meta-Oculus Rift S one year before they dropped their support of this product. The Rift S worked well until I updated my computer. Now two years later and after a year of Meta stupid suggestions for getting my Rift S working again, it's still not working. I have a $400 paper weight that Meta refuses to fix even though they say my new computer should not be a problem. I cannot recommend buying any Meta products due to their lack of customer service and having a chance of the same dropping of older products support. Meta basically has no customer service and only lip service!
This is the PTC, not stable channel, they probably won’t get the update for a while. And if you’re annoyed by the public TESTING channel having many updates, you’re weird

It really has. What it has done for musicians is ground breaking!
As the new UI and the avatar codec appear we will see more great improvements, it would be nice to also see some integration with discord.

Ordered this morning with the bobo m3 pro with extra battery. SO EXCITED
I’d advise the newer battery’s. Quest 3 gets 3+ hours before battery change, but I change when I take a break

It looks like I have also received the warping fix. It's not perfect though, my phone is no longer warped at the edge, but it is warped depth wise.

Picked up a quest 3 and kiwi battery strap from the sale. My quest 2 will now be handed down to the cousins

I just turned the window undocking feature in v67 and really like it.

The new hand tracking is really cool. It's more and more like the vision pro!

Quest 3 is the best for the bucks. The experience will only get better with updates and upgrades.
128 GB is not enough storage imo. They shouldn’t even sell it with less than 256 GB!

The XREAL beam pro 2 how easy is it to transfer spatial videos and photos taken on this device and transfer to the quest 3 ?

It's just regular 3D video. If you want it to show up as a spatial video you have to convert it.
I'm still waiting for the v67.
