For sure would love to see how the world changes and npcs react to you becoming elden lord… well those who’s lives aren’t fucked because you became elden lord. Also a post ending for the lord of frenzy flame ending which just sounds awesome.
There are actually underwater areas in Sekiro where you get to fight some strong enemies and collect rare items (at least one of which even being a requirement for the game's secret/good ending). It gives us a sense of how FromSoft would incorporate underwater gameplay into their games.
@@takoshihitsamaru4675 I mean just from the video you are totally negating the cloud and the position on the map. And as insignificant as it seems: A tile just doesn't "not render". OP claims develoment experience, but he clearly doesn't know how occlusion processes tie together. That cloud wouldn't interfere with the visibility of ground tiles. Way too much computational resources discarded for what will never affect anything, since ground should allways render, no matter how many clouds. And the cloud doesn't even have a solid object. You just have the usual distance fog layer, you see anywhere else. From a developers perspective: This tile was left out, we can say that for sure. Now WHY it was left out is another topic. But knowing From they had something in mind here. Which shouldn't be a surprise, given it's central location on the map in more than one reference frame. And it makes for a perfect area to finish the flying mount mechanic, that data miners where able to restore. It's perfect for a sky temple DLC area, with one of the inaccesible coloseums (fittingly guarded by two robo-giants) right to the south. This touches on the popular theory that the "sky temple", that is referenced in all ruin descriptions, was inspired by Miyazakis film "Castle in the Sky" (which features similar giants on a floating hyper-advanced, but forgotten city). Coloseums are already pretty confirmed to be something we will get access to via DLC. They are fully modelled inside and even have elevator shafts. This is not a coincidence. Elden Ring has alot of hints at places and things to explore in DLC(s) and this is all still speculation, but there is alot more than just the tile.
@@YesPlease964 That is a lot more reply than I was expecting when I wrote that. I personally make quite the habit of breaking map boundaries wherever possible, so I'd like to think I can sniff out new content, as for Elden Ring, I'm not saying it's nothing, but I've also seen a bunch of random shit just sitting around in the unknown OOB of video games. Time will tell if anything comes of it or not :/
I can see another ds3 ashes of ariandel like dlc seeing how there is something like that in each souls game that im aware of... i just want another hammer like quakestone hammer so i can make my poise destroyer build again. I took so many people out with that 😂
I would like to see some post ending DLC that extrapolates on your choices.

Something with different interchangeable mounts. Flyers or glider type depending on your stamina. Would make it so much more fun exploring.
I bet it is the access to the Greatest Will
Maybe the greater will was the messages we left along the way
A bit assuming and reaching, but I like the thought. I hope you're right.
Has anyone looked at the map from the underground maps while in that location?
i think an underwater area would be awesome not something really seen in from software games before

@@demkittens5451 I've not played sekiro but that's cool
I've been learning game development and that's either a non-rendered texture tile or a shadow of a tile, maybe in the cloud above. Who knows lol
I think assuming it's dlc with only that tile to go on is a bit...of a reach.
