Knite I’m a browns fan... but I won’t blame anything on the refs.... but what I will say is if that Rashard Higgins fumble out the end zone goes any other way... out of bounds at the 1, recovered by a brown, or even never fumbled at all... we would have steamrolled to victory.... I think we would have taken the bills too, but lost to the bucs....
It’s almost better that we lost though... because there was going to be no beating the Tom Brady this year, and our defense was falling apart by the end of the season... now we get a chance to plug our holes and add depth on the defensive side of the ball, and the league gets another year older Tom Brady to deal with... maybe he doesn’t even get to the super bowl this year... who knows... but all I know is we should be better positioned this upcoming year to actually win a super bowl and not just participate in one.

Baker Mayfield is electric. I'm 60 years old and I have never seen anyone like him. His energy, electricity, and "It" factor are off the charts. I've never enjoyed watching any player, ever, as much as I have enjoyed watching him. I hope he has a great career.

Disappointing, to be sure. First of all, pro football is a completely different animal. Secondly, the Brown's have been the worst team in the league for quite some time. Considering that, I think he's done remarkably well! Thirdly, you need excellent players surrounding you in order to bring out your best. Hopefully the recent draft pics will help in that regard.

Watching this in 2022 is painful as a Browns fan. I really hope this guy bounces back, he was a stud in his rookie season. We Browns fans have to realize that even though Baker is not the greatest QB in the NFL, he's definitely the best QB we've had in a very long time. I say give him at least one more year.

I'm a casual sports gambler. I remember watching this game live and seeing the change in energy from the Browns players after Mayfield completed a few passes was crazy. I've never seen a team suddenly come alive like that. I immediately plunked a big live bet on the Browns to win the game after that first series.

I've always thought of him as a mix of young Favre and Brees. Just his 1st game, and there's going to be growing pains, but this kid has "it". Dynamic changed, arm cannon, incredibly accurate, humble AF in the post game interview, studies, and works hard. With him and the young core theyve built thru the draft i.e Garrett,Ward,Peppers,Chubb,etc, this team will go places in the future, and be exciting to watch. May not win a chip, but the rides will be fun. And those fans will love it. Colts fan living in Columbus for a decade now, happy for all my browns friends today!
