I'm a huge saints and LSU fan,, last season was exciting cause of Baker and Jarvis, but with obj added... All I could wish is for a honey badger helping with the pass Rush...
On that pass to Anderson at the 3:35 mark, Baker showed his IQ. He scrambled as if under real pressure, all along allowing Anderson to sneak down the line and get open. I don't think Baker thought for one second he was in real danger. The throw was too calm and on point.
+ I Will Eat Roger Goodell Marquise Brown is going into his Junior year. If he has another successful season he'll almost certainly forgo his senior season for the draft.
Say what u want, I think this was one of the best offenses I've seen in a long time. Andrew's, Brown, Lamb, Sermon/Anderson, with that OL and Baker. I would've loved to see them play Bama.
As a Sooner fan I have to agree. Beating Oklahoma State in Stillwater is nothing knew for OU. I give O State credit for playing a good game, but the win wasn't surprising. The Ohio State game was completely different. Not many have gone into the Horseshoe and taken a win. Especially non conference teams. Baker was great in both games, but to me the Ohio State game was more impressive.
William Murphy I think it helped him win the Heisman too ! The most exciting young man to watch bar none. He will be missed big time. I live in Oklahoma and they rarely show Cleveland playing. I wish he had gone to the cowboys or as backup to Drew Brees!
In 2008 I fell in love with slinging Sammy Bradford and thought OU will never have a QB that good again. Boy was I wrong . So proud to have Baker be a part of Sooner Nation ! Thanks Kliffy !
Baker Mayfield: Oklahoma University’s best quarterback! There have been many students quarterbacks who have ranked best at Oklahoma University but Baker Mayfield has taken over the top spot!
NFL mvp has a lot more to do with the season as a whole than the heisman. NFL mvp is usually given to the key player on a team with a first round bye. There are games where those players put up numbers but in terms of winning the MVP it’s more about the season as a whole. You can’t really point out one game in the season that won the mvp for most guys. With the heisman you can clearly remember Manziel, Troy Smith, Tebow, ,Baker, and many others’ heisman moments
Baker was money this whole game with his throws, but damn Hollywood gets open! Both special talents. We'll see if L. Jackson can get him the ball the way Mayfield did.
Update: Hollywood became the only player in NFL history to have two 40+ yard TDs in their debut game, in just his first two receptions... and with a Lisfranc injury too 🤯
Baker was great and definitely deserved the Heisman, but he didn't do it all by himself. Lincoln Riley kept the Bob Stoops system which helped Mayfield progress even further. Here is a rundown of the players Mayfield had: HB Rodney Anderson, 1,163 yards, 13 touchdowns rushing, 17 catches, 281 yards, 5 touchdowns receiving HB Trey Sermon, 744 yards, 5 touchdowns rushing, 16 catches, 137 yards, 2 touchdowns receiving WR Marquise Brown, 57 catches, 1,095 yards, 7 touchdowns WR Ceedee Lamb, 46 catches, 807 yards, 7 touchdowns TE Mark Andrews, 62 catches, 958 yards, 8 touchdowns Even guys like FB Dimitri Flowers (26 catches, 464 yards, 5 touchdowns receiving, 14 attempts, 22 yards, 4 touchdowns rushing) and WR Jeff Badet (26 catches, 400 yards, 3 touchdowns) were solid weapons for Mayfield
Tatum Alonzo I would say in my personal opinion Murray could be better. This is his first year starting and he’s already putting up better numbers. Mayfield is still one of the best ou quarterbacks tho
Which performance would you like to see remembered next?
Harris Highlights deshaun Watson
The game drew brees became famous
Pat White with the 46-44 win over Louisville that turned him into a star in 2005
Harris Highlights the illegal forward pass from baker mayfield that costed Oklahoma state the game
Do a classic player maybe? A little throwback heisman?
Baker was so fun to watch in college, wishing him the best of luck with the Browns
Dingle Berry your luck has gotten him very far
He was even more fun to watch in high school
😂🤣
Yikes
Your luck has gotten him quite far
Baker is quickly becoming one of my favorite NFL players. And i'm not a Browns or Sooners fan, just his tenacity and charisma
It's infectious.
I'm a huge saints and LSU fan,, last season was exciting cause of Baker and Jarvis, but with obj added... All I could wish is for a honey badger helping with the pass Rush...
Damn that Brown guy is fast af
Jaime Perez HOLLLYYYYWWWOOOOODDD
Who the fuck drafted him I wonder... 0-0 like my god.
Hes still in D1
browns need to get another first round and pick that boy up.
He is still at ou
On that pass to Anderson at the 3:35 mark, Baker showed his IQ. He scrambled as if under real pressure, all along allowing Anderson to sneak down the line and get open. I don't think Baker thought for one second he was in real danger. The throw was too calm and on point.
Hollywood Brown might very well have legit 4.2 speed. Sheesh that kid’s fast.
Ole Okie Watson Right that quick slant at 2:07 had me very impressed out ran their whole secondary
+ I Will Eat Roger Goodell Marquise Brown is going into his Junior year. If he has another successful season he'll almost certainly forgo his senior season for the draft.
@Carter Virsik Was it officially timed or was it by hand? Cause that makes a huge difference
he was injured for the combine so guess we'll never know ...
That's OUR guy! We LOVE him. Go Browns!
Say what u want, I think this was one of the best offenses I've seen in a long time. Andrew's, Brown, Lamb, Sermon/Anderson, with that OL and Baker. I would've loved to see them play Bama.
HOLLYWOOOOOD!!!!!!!!
I love watching games when this dude is announcing, much better than Joe Buck
Dude is awesome 😁
It might not have won him the heisman but the Ohio st game was more impressive
As a Sooner fan I have to agree. Beating Oklahoma State in Stillwater is nothing knew for OU. I give O State credit for playing a good game, but the win wasn't surprising. The Ohio State game was completely different. Not many have gone into the Horseshoe and taken a win. Especially non conference teams. Had an Oklahoma State brain fart and misspelled it.
I definitely agree because Ohio St had a much tougher defense.
William Murphy I think it helped him win the Heisman too ! The most exciting young man to watch bar none. He will be missed big time. I live in Oklahoma and they rarely show Cleveland playing. I wish he had gone to the cowboys or as backup to Drew Brees!
King of Pain they hop the river south to Texas.
“WHO IS THIS KID WHERE DID HE COME FROM!!!!” 4:05
MAN!!! his ability to stay cool under pressure and find the open receiver is amazing!! So glad my browns drafter him!!!
Gus Johnson’s call of this game is awesome
I don’t understand how people hate on baker. I think he’s gonna be special
Devin Wood they just like those 6 foot 5 QB’s with a big arm and no accuracy
yeah because Big Ben has no accuracy 😂😂
Biggriz53 I mean not all of them have no accuracy 😂😂😂
Biggriz53 he was referring to josh Allen I think
Memeo Supremo yes that’s who I was talking about
So many players from Oklahoma in the afc north now
Can you put up 52 points and a thousand yards of offense and still lose?
Apparently Oklahoma State can.
What's a defense?
@@murdergiraffe19 most of that particular conference wouldn't know
M1schi3f M4k3r Not anymore
Good protection from the O Line. They never seem to get any love.
From regular fans no, but every NFL scout sees it and that’s all that matters to them
Yeah ikr
Broke Mate well said sir
this is a year late but as an OU fan i promise you we give hella kudos to our O-Line
THAT'S MY QUARTERBACK!!!
Myles Garrett #7-8-1 #BakerDozen how about now 😂😂😂😂😂
@@dann_3388 9-3, how about it now 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@jpkaboom4553 12-5 😎
2:12 Hollywood brown can run dammmmm
Both outstanding programs
I feel bad for Mason Rudolph tbh. How do you put up 52 points and still lose?
Nitrodak Randomness I think one year if I’m not mistaken. TTU lost like 6 games when they scored over 40.
That always happens in the Big 12 lol
It’s like at that point what do you tell your offense? They are doing amazing
Tar DaGreat you’re not wrong
By getting outplayed by Baker Mayfield lol
In 2008 I fell in love with slinging Sammy Bradford and thought OU will never have a QB that good again. Boy was I wrong . So proud to have Baker be a part of Sooner Nation ! Thanks Kliffy !
It was also the game that MS should have been fired on the spot.
Such a fun season to watch....man that offense was stacked!!! Check all the NFL stars on there!
Hollywood brown can freakin run HOLY
Glad he was a Sooner
Sooner ACE for sure
The 2016 Texas Tech vs Oklahoma game that set so many records!
Baker, Hollywood, CeeDee and Mark Andrews. Damn this Oklahoma team was special.
I love, love, love Baker Mayfield! Tenacious, doesn't give a shit what people think of him. I really enjoyed his Heisman speech.
Best highlights channel!!!!
I'm a Oklahoma fan but I loved those uniforms on Oklahoma state.
I was shocked that Oklahoma beat Oklahoma State, that never happens!
Pro Sports Central ikr same
That always happens tho.
U clown that always happens. Oklahoma st. Is OU's little brother!
@@terancewashington2030 You and Justen Doyle are the clowns.. The sarcastic joke went right over you guys' heads.
OU is gonna be insanely fast next year brown plus kyler= GONE
I love Mayfield ❤️
If OU had a defense they would have 5 more championships.
Finally!!!! Thank you
4:06 when a skull trooper comes to my house for trick or treating
The "Who is this kid ?" moment.Absolutely freaking amazing
Just gotta love this video each time yu watch it :)
Just watch the hesitation by Marquise Brown at 2:05 acts like he has a dead route and just explodes into space. That kid is truly lightning speed
Baker Mayfield: Oklahoma University’s best quarterback!
There have been many students quarterbacks who have ranked best at Oklahoma University but Baker Mayfield has taken over the top spot!
A beast in college and is now a beast in the pros
That was a good game.
"you just can't take you're eyes off him when hes on the football field... he's rugged." ok bud

One of the best games to be a Hollywood brown fan😎
i didnt realize baker had hollywood brown AND ceedee lamb catching his passes. now his nfl career makes sense
I was at that game!!! This single greatest individual performance iv'e ever witnessed in person!
I want Gus Johnson to do my eulogy. BEST play by play guy going.
Looks like a highlight reel of wide outs getting open and making plays after the catch.
This game is history baby
Mayfield really had the ‘it’ factor.
Still does..
Mind you he did that all with a Fu Manchu. That’s just adding insult to injury
Baker had an all star offense... everyone made it to the league
Best rookie quarterback
Raquan Polk easily
Oh fk. Is that Jenny! 5:24
My two favorite people are Gennyy & Skiiiiiup
This wasn't a football game, it was a track meet! His receivers should be given an assistant Heisman Trophy for their rolls! Especially Brown.
Rookie of the Year in the NFL hopefully.
Should've been
There was a big ol’ black guy behind me this year at OU vs UCLA and he wouldn’t quit yelling HOLLYWOOD!!!! HOLLYWOOD!!!! KYLER!!!! KYLER!!!!
One of the greatest Heismen to ever do it 🕺🏽
1:32 this play was sickkkkk
Browns Fan Always Ohio State Fan Baker Mayfield Fan For Life
I am Boomer Brown fan for life. I can't wait for the Kings of the North AFC rise and shine to the big dance!!!
Honestly this was a great u should do one of those remembrance videos on it
The receivers did most of the work... they were all WIDE OPEN. Most QBs can pass like that when receivers are wide open.
He won it every game he played
Cole Buie Except the game vs Georgia
@@jasonrodriguez314 Umm..he put up 48 points on the "best defense in the country". He didn't lose anything, the OU defense did.
Man I miss Ok St. being in the running most of the time for the college football playoff
Good times
Harris Highlights yeah
It blows my mind that the state of oklahoma has such a storied football program.
Hollywood Brown on the right NFL would be nasty. Or the Ravens need to unlock him but he's a beast. Put him in a position to succeed and he will.
This game should be on one of your games to remember
2:07 Hollywood Brown Is sooo fast
Darnold has best visual range, Mayfield has best pocket patience. Browns’ choice was right. Decisively, Darnold is fumble prone.
Both teams had a hell of a game offensively, needless to say for their defense' they likely had the longest film sessions of their lives 😂😂
You should do “the Game ________ won NFL MVP”
NFL mvp has a lot more to do with the season as a whole than the heisman. NFL mvp is usually given to the key player on a team with a first round bye. There are games where those players put up numbers but in terms of winning the MVP it’s more about the season as a whole. not sure if ive ever seen anyone throw a more accurate football.
How did I not realize they had ceedee lamb and brown ... thats wild
Nice bro👍🏼
Apparently, no one played defense
Brown is incredible............. someone sign that man
Baker was great and definitely deserved the Heisman, but he didn't do it all by himself. Lincoln Riley kept the Bob Stoops system which helped Mayfield progress even further. Here is a rundown of the players Mayfield had:
HB Rodney Anderson, 1,163 yards, 13 touchdowns rushing, 17 catches, 281 yards, 5 touchdowns receiving
HB Trey Sermon, 744 yards, 5 touchdowns rushing, 16 catches, 137 yards, 2 touchdowns receiving
WR Marquise Brown, 57 catches, 1,095 yards, 7 touchdowns
WR Ceedee Lamb, 46 catches, 807 yards, 7 touchdowns
TE Mark Andrews, 62 catches, 958 yards, 8 touchdowns
Even guys like FB Dimitri Flowers (26 catches, 464 yards, 5 touchdowns receiving, 14 attempts, 22 yards, 4 touchdowns rushing) and WR Jeff Badet (26 catches, 400 yards, 3 touchdowns) were solid weapons for Mayfield
These are some great clips, but I think the best clip is the dash cam footage of Mayfield getting sacked for a loss by a Fayetteville cop
Bruh that block at 1:44
It was like watching Johnny Manziel again but a better pocket passer.
The tragedy of this game and 2017 season is that OU’s defense allowed so many points. Otherwise we easily win another National Championship...easily.
No one will ever compare to Baker Mayfield! I loved seeing him play without any doubt OU won many games! BOOMER.....
#OUDNA
Tatum Alonzo I would say in my personal opinion Murray could be better. This is his first year starting and he’s already putting up better numbers. Mayfield is still one of the best ou quarterbacks tho
The GOAT
them boys in college be quick AF
This should be called “ the reason there has only been one defensive heisman”
It’s crazy how Baker Mayfield Marquise Brown and Mark Andrews play in the same division
Good defensive battle
I think the Baylor game of his last season was a great one to be honest
What were the stats of Hollywood that game?
Every pass went to that man
Do they play defense in Oklahoma
All I have to say is Go Dawgs!!!!! Humble yourself Baker!
Never!! Baker is humble free. Now them Dawgs got trampled by Bevo...damn near killed your Mascot 😂😂🐂⬇️
