No hate, but when the corner is playing 7 yards off and the receiver is 10 yards wide open, I'm not impressed. Not to say Baker Mayfield isn't a great quarterback, but the best defense he played in the big 12 was probably Texas (yes, Texas) and twice they had completely blown coverages that led to easy 6. Type of thing won't happen against Georgia.
He looks good and has a great arm. But 90% of the time his receivers were wide open and he had no pressure from a pass rush. It will be interesting to see how he performs against an NFL pass rush and 1 foot wide windows to throw through. If you watch Darnold's highlights his receivers were not open nearly as often. And he show amazing accuracy in tight coverage. I think Darnold will be better in the NFL

He throws dimes when he uses good mechanics. When he throws with his feet facing the sidelines he makes horrible throws even if they’re completed. If he just fixes some mechanical flaws he’ll be good

He is not a top 25 pick in my opinion. 3rd or 4th round developmental QB. Could shock us all and be the next Dak Prescott or Chase Keenum.
