- WaDi is a character in every sense of the word. But despite this, he plays one of the most disciplined neutrals among active players. This video analyzes his thought process, secrets behind his success, and any weaknesses that come with this specialty.

Who should I do an analysis on next?
Alpharads ness in doubles (: lol
I would love to see Leon(the bowser main) analysis
Hi NB. Excellent video. I'd like to see some Falcons reviewed - specifically, Sean or NickC, though I know Nick doesn't compete a ton. Another Falcon to consider is the Mexican Falcon Andrik.
Thanks again for the incredibly thoughtful video.
Perhaps too niche of a pick but as an M2 fan my vote is for Grade. Couldn't be a more contrasting style to Wadi's M2. His frenetic and fancy movement blows my mind, but sometimes seems to get lost in the sauce which costs him games. A breakdown of what's working in his playstyle and what isn't would be very valuable to the M2 meta, IMO.
An analysis on mezcaul would be interesting, he wins so many games that on paper should be unwinnable. Same goes to others who play heavies and find success like leon
Very enlightening stuff! WaDi is one of my faves to watch but I could never put my finger on why, outside him playing Mewtwo of course.

Wadi is everyone's friendly neighborly jokester, it's impossible to dislike the guy. Hes just got a very inviting personality. If anyone ever said they don't like wadi, that's copium.

The personal bubble point you mentioned really helps me totally grasp what you're talking about through the video. I appreciate those visuals
Once I was on WaDi's stream and he said "I don't dash dance because I play Mewtwo too" :x
Wadi is a real one. Also, this analysis was great, good editing and well explained!
Wadi is one of my favorite players because of his unique play style. He also said in one of his videos that he doesn’t really do training mode. He just jumps straight to online and arenas and plays. He said “I just play the game”. 😂 it’s hilarious that he gets good results and doesn’t lab like most other top players.
Gluto also doesn't lab in training mode like that. Considering he plays wario you think he would lab out some of the more difficult waft set ups. He just practices the set up in actual games.
@@thikdikriky1559 it’s probably not a bad way to practice. A lot of players that lab a lot don’t seem to have as good of results as the ones that don’t focus too much on it. I think there’s a good middle ground somewhere but some players like gluto and wadi are just good.
@@gatolf2 Wadi doesn't really have comparable results to Gluto.
@@legrandliseurtri7495 who’s comparing him to gluto?
Been WaDi's RUclips editor for over a year now and I still don't understand what makes his playstyle so good LOL
Still can't make it past 5 in an iron man though 💀
Sometimes 2 🤣💀
Time to get Wadi to react to this
Great video! Those visuals and everything helped out a lot. A personal request would be a slide to take a screenshot of your points! It's great having something like that to keep pulled up while trying a new playstyle out.
The dream would be if you did this for Kola, but Tweek, Light, or Dabuz would be really interesting.
I enjoy this video and would like if it became a series. There's very little playstyle analysis videos around without digging for them, but it'squite interesting to see 'why' the top players do what they do.
Wadi is low key a top 30-25 player if he fully committed to competitive
That analysis about WaDi was well presented and entertaining to understand to watch. Very great video.
Amazing video. The way you explain things is very interesting. Honestly Wadi feels like a very talented player who simply doesn't lab enough and struggles to take things seriously enough for me. I'm sure he could show his full potential with more work and rigor. That's why it can be so frustrating for me to see him play and do notable errors sometimes. He can really surprise his opponents at times, even the top players. Honestly he could take good notes from how you perfected your Mewtwo gameplay.
This type of analysis is really helpful
this is the best ult analysis video, period, good shit
THIS is the kind of content I want to see more of ✊️✊️
Found your channel after looking up your amazing Zelda guide! Your content is super good and you earned a subscriber
Brilliant videp!
Amazing narration
Excellent work as always sir 👏🏻 👍🏻 👌🏻
wow, those were the most fun and fast 10+ minutes i've seen so far!
I really needed this.
Great video!!
🔥🔥🔥
Nice
keep in mind that this is the guy who beat esam and had top 8 placings at A tiers in ultimate BEFORE he had a switch
This is crazy
Love watching WaDi play
Oooh, I remember this channel! I'll definitely subscribe!
Great video from a new sub‼️👍🏾
amazing

seeing in detail the mind of professionals is really cool :-)
We love WaDi
I noticed I have very similar habits (obviously I'm not saying I'm just as good, simply saying I relate to his style, safe combos, little dashdancing, and mostly conditioning and mind games)
Will be analyzing him to learn how to play better
would love to hear about marss
This was fantastic! You got a sub from me. Also a comment and a bell icon. Hoping for you to blow up
Hey, you got the ranking right, at least by Orionrank standards. 79 is pretty much exactly "Top 100 able to break Top 50"
Fundeez nuts
Yoshidora!
I play like wadi(not as good obviously) . I figured out a long time ago I was not fast enough to do long combos or hard tech so I picked up characters that don’t take a tone of tech skill but more coverage characters and my favorite.
I’d love to see an analysis of Tea
At 6:58, I disagree because dash attack covers tech in place, no tech, and tech away, while downtilt only covers tech in place and no tech
I know that this is a video to bring Wadi up, but every top player understands neutral at the highest level. Yes Leo spaces, but his understanding of neutral wins games. Same with tweek and Gluto. Gluto doesn’t have crazy combos, and yes he might have a win condition with waft, but it’s their understanding of neutral that allows them to remain top players.
Hi notbae! Can u do a Kazuya guide? I know ur not a Kazuya main but u have really good game sense and u explain really well! Ty
You don't need to have good game sense to play kazuya lol just mash electric and win majors

Can you make an analysis on Esam? Plis
this aged well.
Can you do one for Mr. Game and watch. It also seems to give my Mewtwo problems.
Please do Kameme's Sora 🗝
No one focuses on neutral? Isn't it obvious that you need combos punish game and neutral?
im going to respectfully disagree with calling his lack of movement an overall positive. what i notice the most with wadi against super top players is that seems to get positionally checkmated constantly since he doesnt focus very much on relative positioning and much more on individual positioning. there is also very little mixup potential and counterplay that isnt completely orthodox and hasnt been seen hundreds of times before by whoever hes playing. i see these as his main obstacles to ascending past his current position and the reason why someone like sparg0 has gotten so much better so quickly. he does not let you see that same thing repeatedly, and if he does, its because he wants you to think its the same so he will do something different. especially now since ultimate is heading more to a punish focused meta, wadis playstyle becomes very ineffective and inefficient at the super top level. i do think it is kind of ironic that he was on the same team as his literal polar opposite playstyle wise, marss.
Oooalright
old 😭
i feel like he is such a weird player. i really don't know how to describe him
He’s a weirdo alright
@@h8thegr8 I completely forgot about this comment but know I feel like a prophet
