Loki was under mind-control from the sceptre and a year of torture (from his suicide attempt in Thor until this movie) by Thanos. That has been confirmed by the movie makers a long time ago. And you can see it all throughout the movie in the way his physical health is actually improving from the first scene until the end. In the way he is moving hardly able to walk in his first appearance. In the way his eyes are blue instead of green throughout most of the movie. In the way his plan is complete bullsh*t unless he actually wanted to loose, even though Loki is a very intelligent man with great planning ability. In the way he talks and behaves differently than at any other time. In the way he does not leave or do anything once defeated, even though he could. In the way the portal is hardly opened at all, ecen though he could have it wide open. In the way he gave a dozen hints of the plan throughout the movie.
One of my favorite things in the movie was Tony eating the blueberries and offering them to the others. RDJ had bags of them hidden around the set and just grabbed one and starting eating it wasn't in the script.
Ahah the hands doooo start making fire lol we head I’m telling you, thank you though I’m really glad you enjoy the channel I appreciate you very much!!
Commenting before watching the reaction, this made me relive the hype I felt when Avenger's came out in 2012. There was NOTHING like this ever made. Never before had writers, companies, IP holders, worked together in such a way to create a fully developed, complete and character-driven "universe" with movies before. And we thought we'd never see anything like it again, only for Marvel to keep pushing the fold of how movies can be made. They're not grandeurs of artistic flavor or woven hidden meanings, but they ARE meaningful. My Dad read these comics for over forty years. I heard stories constantly of how they helped him find closure in who he was as a person; and when we watched this together in theaters on opening night, I had that too. It's something that stuck with me all the way till now. And rewatching these movies with you, I realize just HOW meaningful it is that these heroes, these "forgotten" men that created the heroes in this movie, were all Jewish. That every small, meaningful act of defiance against tyranny is done by the Jewish people. Just like Stan Lee did back when he first had Captain America punch Hitler in the face.
U guys are so chill & cool, can't wait for you all to reach the end. Great reactors who try their best to catch the great dialogue & witty bits. The dialogue between Tony & Banner is probably my favorite duo in the entire movie. When it comes to superhero movies with pretty much everything you can ask for, this one lands in the top 10 of all time IMO.
Part of the super soldier serum power is the ability to neutralise fatigue poisons (lactic acid) in the bloodstream which makes cap not tire out! So he can fight non stop! That's why he uses the catchphrase (I can do this all day!)
They don't touch on it enough in the movies but it also makes him smarter and better at problem solving. Hence Cap can come up with battle strategies on the fly.
@@RicoPresents btw, the scene when Tony eat snacks and offering bruce some wasnt scripted and they have decided to keep it. Plus, the 'I am ironman' from the ironman movie wasnt scripted but they have decided to keep it, which changed the entire MCU cause now all the identities of all superheros are known. And in captain america civil war in the comics it was about if the superheros should reveal their identity, and because of that line its about something else. You will see(
Love the channel guys!!! Monica is very intuitive from what I’ve seen so far. You guys make a good couple. I hope you guys are open to suggestions. Keep up the good work!!!
No, Cap doesn't get tired, it's a side effect of the Super Soldier Serum, he doesn't feel fatigue. Another side effect is that he doesn't get killed by extreme cold, instead of freezing to death it causes him to enter into a form of suspended animation. The fun thing of Banner's conversation with Natasha is the fear you see when he yells "STOP LYING". She's faced a lot of threats over the years but they were all human, Hulk was a whole new threat.
Whatever platform you guys are watching these movies on, it has subtitles...you just have to turn them on yourselves. I thought you two would have figured that out by now. The original movie has subtitles so idk why it's not showing. But it doesn't matter, the video player in the platform you're watching the movie on, usually in the upper or lower corners of the screen has the settings cogs so you can turn on the subtitles.
@9:30, in the classic Earth-616 comic books Captain America is max peak of a human. The MCU version of Captain America is truly superhuman as will be shown in the rest of the films. He does stuff regularly that would literally kill a normal person. In the early 2000s, Marvel launched an alternate imprint of their comics called the Ultimates. The central premise of this series was - What would the Avengers be like if they formed in the early 21st century. In the comics, Nick Fury is a Black man who looks exactly like Sam L. Jackson so that is why Sam L. Jackson is playing Nick Fury in the movies. Also Captain America in the movies is more of the Ultimate version of Captain America.
...Out of all the people I've seen reacting to this movie, Y'all are the only ones that don't cut out Banner explaining his Failed Suicide Attempt. Weird.
Hint: Loki IS NOT "Thor's brother" ... he isnt even one of the Asgard. He is however "accepted into the group". His main "special power" [in the actual norse mythology] is SHAPESHIFTING ... and as a shapeshifter he is the MOTHER of many beasts/monsters: Odin's eight-legged horse, the Fenris wolf and the world serpent.
That wittiness only comes from cynicism. And while there IS a dork of pure wittiness that done are born with, this isn't it. And after years of being filled with cynicism, and bitterness, I wouldn't want it to happen to anyone. (Edit) Honestly, the I FEEL the part where Bruce looks back at Natasha when he's transforming. As someone who's become bitter and filled with rage. It's the feeling you have when you completely lose control, but don't want to, and you realize someone is nearby. You don't want to hurt anyone, but at that point, you don't know what you'll do....I've had to shut myself away from both my mom and dad before. Even locked then out of my own house, cause I know I HAD to break something, even though I don't want to. It's the worst feeling.
Regarding captain America in the mcu he started out as peak level human in the first avenger and avengers but winter soldier onward he's superhuman like his strength and endurance feats are way above a peak human.
You know I loved Stark's comment, "everything special about you came out of a bottle" but I only JUST NOW realised that another very possible reason for such a low blow to Cap was because his father was the one who did it and Tony earlier had already said his dad never shut up about Cap. Stark also said in earlier movies that his dad was cold and calculating so he probably felt such resentment towards Steve. (yes I am slow)
Nick Fury: "The world has gotten even stranger than you already know." Captain America: "At this point, I doubt anything would surprise me." Nick: "10 bucks says you're wrong." Later on the helicarrier: *Captain America hands Nick 10 bucks*
Ha, she is smart. She actually pays attention to stuff, that's really dope. Great reaction guys, subbed for sure! BTW, I was in Cleveland when the "Germany" scene with Loki, Cap, and Iron man was being filmed. That building Loki walks out of is actually the building I was working in on a contract position lol. I got to leave work and watch them film. They also filmed part of the end of the movie a few blocks away, the parts when they're down on the streets where all the destruction is happening. Apparently it's way cheaper to film in Cleveland than in NYC 😂
@@rebeccazainea4645 They blocked off that whole park area across the street from the building, which was typically where a whole crowd of people would hang out in the afternoon/evening time after work waiting for busses, etc. There were massive lights setup all around the parameter and a huge crane that they used, I assume, for positioning the sign on the building and all the misc set dressing. The scene where they flip the car that Loki shot with the staff was crazy, they did that really late at night, I assume because there’s less activity in the surrounding area. I stayed late at the office one night specifically to watch them setting everything up from the window of the office I was working in. The daytime shots near the end were filmed a few blocks away during the day so I left on my lunch break to go see if I could watch anything being filmed but they had it blocked off pretty well. I did get to walk the parameter of the set and see all the rubble and whatnot made out of some kind of foam or lightweight material though. As a designer I really respect the work that goes into all that background stuff. Even back in 2011 it looked so good that nobody ever questions it when they watch the movie, it’s crazy the amount of setup that goes on.
Russian Translation General: "This is not how I wanted the eavening to go." Natasha: "Believe me this is better." General: "Who are you working for? Lermentov, yes? Does he think we have to go through him to move our cargo?" Natasha: "I thought General Solohob is in charge of the export business?" General: "Solohob? A bagman, a front. Your outdated information betrays you. The famous black widow and she turns out to be just another pretty face." Natasha: "You really think I'm pretty?" General: "Tell Lermentov we don't need him to move the tanks. Tell him he is out. Well . . . you may have to write it down." Phone rings. Henchman: "Yes? Its for her." General: "Listen carefully . . ." Switch to English for rest of scene.
I think it help when the actors are FANS of the subject ie comics, captain America doesn't suffer from fatigue he originally didn't have superhuman strength but MCU changed his character for the better he has one of the best healing factor's also keeps him young at peak fitness
27:10 - Subtly offering Banner a reward for agreeing with him lol Tho I heard RDJ kept hiding snacks on set and this was just one that slipped past the crew XD
Btw, the blueberries in the scene with Stark, Cap, and Banner were not supposed to be there. Robert Downer Jr kept hiding snacks around the set, and in that take Mark Ruffalo and Chris Evans just kept in character
I remember watching iron man and hulk when they came out and didn't watch another movie since infinity war came out watched it with my little bro and he told me they were all connected so I watched them in chronological order now im always up to date
It was confirmed by kevin fiege that loki was being manipulated by the mind stone via thanos as you can see his eyes were also blue. Although he did hate Thor at this point and his need of revenge coupled with the mind stone manipulating him caused him to be more aggressive
You get the big guy: Shows Dr. Banner War is won by soldiers: Shows Captain America Should've left it in the ocean: Shows Iron Man working under the ocean
Loki didn’t even know about the hulk until black widow said something when she called him a monster and he said they brought the monster he meant he’s the monster
As i see this movie. Its about today. Loki gives that speech in Stugaurd. About man loves subjugation. Man is willing to give up freedoms for security. YES. The wuflu has made man give up their freedoms. Loki/the ones who own the world won
Well the tesseract didn't show them anything, it was the mind stone / scepter that had control of them (as explained in Age of Ultron the mind stone had its own kind of mind or AI and basically ultron AI was created from the part of Mind stone's mind
This movie hasn’t aged all that great to me. It feels really weird having these characters get passed through different writers in between the first two Avengers movies written by Joss Whedon. He has no idea how to write Captain America in particular, and he makes a mockery out of Black Widow. Two years after this movie, the Russo brothers and Markus and McFeely made Captain America the coolest character in the MCU.

Yo I watched your Harry Potter reactions, big fan. Keep the reactions coming!
Will do, also I’m glad you enjoyed the reactions, it’s not over yet got soo much planned !!!
Banner: "Saved it for what?"
Tony: "I guess we'll find out."
It's almost like he was made for...something.
Enjoy your MCU journey!
28:45 - Still one of the coolest examples of foreshadowing
The hands start making fire lol best line ever, I remember when I first saw this in theaters its such a good movie love your channel
My favorite scene from this movie will always be when Hulk tossed Loki around😂.
Ahaha I can’t lie that was hilarious, some truly magical scenes In this movie for sure!!!
Puny god. 🤣🤣
28:00 “we need somebody who listen to some rules” hehe lets se if she change her mind later in the franchise lol
Man, I'm really looking forward for them to catch up to the present MCU series and movies.
@@technopirate304 also gives him photographic memory.
I love how when they're fighting the mind stone is always around
Keep rubbing your hand it show's your excitement like no words could haha
You know this, the hand rubbing will never end ahaha
Yessss finallyyyyy I'v been waiting for this
We’re back and ready to gooo, even if copy right stops me sometimes I won’t ever let it fully stop the uploads I want you guys to see them!!
You will see(
Finally!! Keep it up the good work! We love it
Heyyyyy! Yay! 🧡
Good to see ya'll back and watching something I am into!
Love the channel guys!!! Monica is very intuitive from what I’ve seen so far. You guys make a good couple. I hope you guys are open to suggestions. Keep up the good work!!!
After watching the harry potters and mcu up to here, i can honestly say Monica is extremely intuitive and intelligent when guessing plots and themes
33:38 loved tony more for that cause Steve was tryna to act like he better then everyone
So great to see you guys back and enjoying the film - looking forward to the journey! :)
Whatever platform you guys are watching these movies on, it has subtitles...you just have to turn them on yourselves. I thought you two would have figured that out by now. The original movie has subtitles so idk why it's not showing. But it doesn't matter, the video player in the platform you're watching the movie on, usually in the upper or lower corners of the screen has the settings cogs so you can turn on the subtitles.
cap and tony are so opposite to each other, thats why they need each other
I agree it balances things out and I think it, means that more and better ideas and plans come out!
"hes gonna be able to tell him what his father was like" .......... wait till ivil war lol
i GASPED when monica mentioned HIMYM - i love the show yet don't see it mentioned very often!!
I’m still yet to watch it all but I’ve heard good things about it!
@@RicoPresents it's one of my favorites!
“I feel like she could take him”
Comics would say otherwise.
Didn't the comics say that steve is peak human potential so shouldn't that mean he would be consider a very low level superhuman?
@@technopirate304 you're probably right about the movie cap being off the charts.
honestly the guy Cap saved during Loki's speech was probably just a little younger than Steve
He doesn't suffer fatigue like normal people he can go without sleep for weeks
It's been 84 years......
Lack of teamwork and mutual understanding led to Loki's escape and Hulk tearing part of the ship apart.
...Out of all the people I've seen reacting to this movie, Y'all are the only ones that don't cut out Banner explaining his Failed Suicide Attempt.
Weird.
Man this movie is really worth the journey
Fr
Regarding captain America in the mcu he started out as peak level human in the first avenger and avengers but winter soldier onward he's superhuman like his strength and endurance feats are way above a peak human.
You know I loved Stark's comment, "everything special about you came out of a bottle" but I only JUST NOW realised that another very possible reason for such a low blow to Cap was because his father was the one who did it and Tony earlier had already said his dad never shut up about Cap. Stark also said in earlier movies that his dad was cold and calculating so he probably felt such resentment towards Steve. (yes I am slow)
Nick Fury: "The world has gotten even stranger than you already know."
Captain America: "At this point, I doubt anything would surprise me."
Nick: "10 bucks says you're wrong."
Later on the helicarrier: *Captain America hands Nick 10 bucks*
"cant do the equation unless i have all the variables" love that line
Finally, love your reactions
Ha, she is smart. She actually pays attention to stuff, that's really dope. Great reaction guys, subbed for sure!
BTW, I was in Cleveland when the "Germany" scene with Loki, Cap, and Iron man was being filmed. That building Loki walks out of is actually the building I was working in on a contract position lol. I got to leave work and watch them film. They also filmed part of the end of the movie a few blocks away, the parts when they're down on the streets where all the destruction is happening. Apparently it's way cheaper to film in Cleveland than in NYC 😂
That shot with Tower City? What did the filming look like?
Russian Translation
General: "This is not how I wanted the eavening to go."
Natasha: "Believe me this is better."
General: "Who are you working for? Lermentov, yes? Does he think we have to go through him to move our cargo?"
Natasha: "I thought General Solohob is in charge of the export business?"
General: "Solohob? A bagman, a front. Your outdated information betrays you. The famous black widow and she turns out to be just another pretty face."
Natasha: "You really think I'm pretty?"
General: "Tell Lermentov we don't need him to move the tanks. Tell him he is out. Well . . . you may have to write it down."
Phone rings.
Henchman: "Yes? Its for her."
General: "Listen carefully . . ."
Switch to English for rest of scene.
Yes! 😁 I'll quickly get something to eat and *let's go!*
Ahaha you know it Jan got to get the meal ready and enjoy food with great entertainment !!!
Fun fact. The Shield base that gets blown up at the beginning is the new Albuquerque, NM High School.
Thanks for making my day so much better ❤️
Bruh she thought you were saying lowkey not Loki😂😂😂😂
Yayy, I missed you guys ♥️
33:38 - Tony coming in cold with that comeback 🥶 🥶
Yessss you lot back with the marvel movies cmonnn 👏🏼🔥
I love you and Monica your the greatest thing since microwave popcorn
Cap is not only max peak of a human but beyond that
3:19
Oh my God! Completely forgot that was actually in there 😂
Hi. I’m the guy that was smiling at the end of the movie.
Btw, the blueberries in the scene with Stark, Cap, and Banner were not supposed to be there. Robert Downer Jr kept hiding snacks around the set, and in that take Mark Ruffalo and Chris Evans just kept in character
This is the first time I picked up on the celloist line. We would meet her (Amy Acker) in Agents of Shield.
Banner
War is won by soldiers: Shows Captain America
Should've left it in the ocean: Shows Iron Man working under the ocean
Loki didn’t even know about the hulk until black widow said something when she called him a monster and he said they brought the monster he meant he’s the monster
Yessssss let’s gooo been waiting for this!
The Cube itself is just a casing for the Space Stone in the center.
As i see this movie. Its about today. Loki gives that speech in Stugaurd. About man loves subjugation. Man is willing to give up freedoms for security. YES. The wuflu has made man give up their freedoms. Loki/the ones who own the world won
So glad you were able to get past YT's BS copyright system
@28:00, that conversation...wow what a callback. I won't spoil the how. But we do get an answer.
So glad you guys are back 😄❤️
0:18 The last time I ever saw Paramount logo from MCU phase 2 is Iron Man 3.
Well the tesseract didn't show them anything, it was the mind stone / scepter that had control of them (as explained in Age of Ultron the mind stone had its own kind of mind or AI and basically ultron AI was created from the part of Mind stone's mind
"They need someone that listens to some rules" got me like 👀👀
This has Joss Whedon written all over it!! I love it so much
1:32 That's from DC, and her name is Maria Hill and nothing else. Also Robin is a male.
And Now I realized How important this movie is to Me💖
This movie hasn’t aged all that great to me.
LETS GOOOOOO MARVEL MOVIEE REACTION I LOVE YALL
13:24 well that's hum...a very early foreshadowing
By the way, FYI, Cap's shield is made out of vibranium that comes from Wakanda.
