    the way i figured out is tinning paste and the brass wool. The paste breaks down the crud then the wool cleans it off. 2 or 3 times for really dirty tips.

      because there is a short in your iron or the fuse box has a weak fuse.

      its just mix flux and solder and scrap... that's all to it

      ​@@miraclec9983 tending paste that you can buy on Amazon and brass wool in one of those little half circle things. Two or three times really dirty tips. The tending paste breaks down all the crud then the wool pulls it off
