Yeah it probably took me a few weeks to get 3 out of 10 ff so it'll definitely take some practice and muscle memory development. Hopefully I'll have my sentinel intermediate guide out soon! Script is already in the works 🙂
hey will! when you say dash cancel while drones, are you referring to the QCF + K drones? Or are you referring to his Hyper Sentinel Force super? if you're talking about his drones, you can't control Sentinel before he's done with his animation of sending out his drones. as for his Hyper Sentinel Force, you can dash in between Hyper Sentinel Forces to get closer to your opponent, which i explain at 7:38!

I'm relearning but i want to use my old trap team from back in the day to see if I still got it. Wow! i feel like a grandpa, I can't remember the moves lol.
ok got it. nah, you can't wave dash during Hyper Sentinel Force. you have to wait until all 3 waves of drones are out before you can control him again. but you can do what's explained at 7:38, that's most likely what you're remembering. good luck getting back into the game, hope my videos help!

Hey Dante! I'm not sure what archetype Sentinel is but to me he's like a tank/zoner combo. He's big with super armor but also has his mouth beam and long limbs that are great for zoning!
If I may, I have a question about something: do the properties of Flight Mode change, depending from what state that you activate it from (from standing/crouching, from a normal jump, or from a super jump)?

Yeah I would highly suggest a stick. There ARE top players that play high level marvel on pad but they usually hold the stick like a mini fight stick as opposed to the traditional way where you control the joystick and press the face buttons with your thumbs. So if you wanna give that a try before buying a fight stick, it might work out for you!
Damnit this game so hard on a controller and dpad, I been trying to do the lk,mp, rocket punch into super. I absolutely cannot do the qcf for rocket punch and the 2nd qcf for super fast enough on a dpad
Maybe it's time to try the joystick on your controller. Maybe even a fight stick if possible. I'm willing to bet that playing with the d pad is the most difficult way to play honestly
Oh yeah, definitely harder to control him on a controller, especially if you're holding the controller traditionally (both thumbs doing all the work). I'd recommend holding the controller like a small fight stick, with your left thumb on the joystick/d-pad and your right index and middle fingers on the buttons!

good video but cutting back n forth so much from live to ingame is kind of jarring makes it hard to watch. Should just have an intro with you speaking to the camera and then explaining everything in game. I couldn't watch past 2 mins was too jarring gave me headache. Or perhaps have a small frame with you talking in the bottom right so the cutting back and forth isn't so jarring

Hulk causes chip, I get why u overlook them as only 5 characters are used of the 56 roster, biggest flaw for mvc2 imo

Hmm. I would say try and do the HSF immediately after the RP. I don't even think the RP animation has to finish before you can input the HSF
