Just a note at 14:36 he shuffled the land exiles from raptor back into deck. Raptor lands stay exiled. Not a big deal obviously but just something to remember
Just getting back into modern -- I realize they just went through some bans for the format -- how safe is it to invest in these cards would you say? I'd like to get a blinged out version of one of these decks to play but I'm afraid something will get banned in a couple of months just as I'm starting to enjoy it.
If I had to guess the cards to avoid getting the nice versions of would be The One Ring and maybe Ocelot Pride, not because Pride might get banned but because if energy takes a hit Pride gets wayyyy worse. I don't think the rings gonna take a ban but WOTC is looking at the card rn.
Commenting this before finishing the video so maybe it gets explained, but why is jeskai energy playing hedge maze instead of another thundering falls or archive?
The power creep granted by the ring is necessary to keep up w the power creep f creatures over the last few years tbh. It's not even close to the most messed up thing in the format, though I will concede that the card is not well designed whatsoever

Jeskai Control is no longer the top deck. Tron and UB Frogtide are on the rise which are not favorable matchups for it.
I don't think Jeskai was ever the top deck. It is however, a tier 1 deck
