In a weird way, this match was a good example of how to really level up as a player by not being results oriented. Like, I know a ton of people who have tricked themselves into thinking some brew/tier 4 deck is secretly broken because they spiked their FNM a few weeks in a row. Like, no one should think that affinity is a better deck than Mardu Energy after these games and you two say as much!

That ob play was crazy

if you play Emry you play bauble. With Affinity you go aggressive or build around draw. I feel like sharing the info gives Wizards a ton more advantage over Affinity as well. Force of Negation does seem cool with Kappa now, but game 1 you usually are just focused on crushing your opponent quickly and you board in interaction.

Hate to be the one pointing out mistakes, but in minute 4:45 he misses the first part of the third cat's ability. He had already 4 cats, therefore he should create 1 going to five, THEN double them going to 10. Just like in last video with the energies, it's not like it matter in that specific scenario, but definitelly something to be cocious about, specially if he plays the deck in RCQs. you really don't want to misscount and lose as a result of it!! Regardless, great video dudes!

When will you play Death's shadow? You could make a cool Grixis deck with Mockingbird, Frog, Murktide, Detective's Phoenix, Goyf, some combination of them?

Low key gonna be testing these energy decks, haven't played modern before and ought to jump on modo first, but you can make a pretty damn close version wl all the important pieces on arena. So I want to craft there. Both decks look sick (control player so ofc frog dimir control looks really fun too)

In game one, minute 6:10, i think he commits a mistake while counting the energy. He floats one, then get 2 from raptor going to 3, which flips nightmare going to 6. The thing is, he should have used 2 for those 3 energies he had after playing raptor to actually put the nightmare into play, therefore, going from 3 to 1, to 4 after playing the nightmare itself, to 2 after reanimating ajani. Like, it doesn't change a thing, but it certainly could in another scenario, so just letting you know.

It is kind of funny that you made a pseudo promise to deep dive the Mardu energy deck but it was the first video of this modern series to go up. But the deck seems pretty sweet, summed up best as doing nothing till its doing everything.
