Underground Miner simply BECAUSE SHE WANTS TOO. Why do woman have to give a reason to do what they want. Why is it they have to gain permission? She’s not in a active war zone where she’s taking time out of patrolling to do makeup. When a man grooms himself their its no problem, but the moment a woman does there’s comment like “what’s the point of makeup anyway”. Because that’s what she wants to do and shouldn’t have to answer to a man about it. God imagine if a men had to answer questions like this...

I am in the Canadian Army (31 years in)..I have never had a "makeup" conversation with any one of my fellow male soldiers. We (female soldiers) wear it conservatively in day-to-day dress as well. I have always worn makeup in uniform... in garrison, in the field...wherever I am. I was Camp Sgt Major last year during Battle school and got up before my troops to get ready (hair/makeup 5am), blacken my boots. Just to look and feel professional. Always have a higher standard of dress and deportment. All the female soldiers who wanted to wear makeup wore it. Our dress regs on hair just changed in Canada...and we can wear pony tails. (I don't like it but its the new rules) with exception in dress uniforms or on parade. Must be in bun. I think you look great! Pride in your appearance is key. We are all under scrutiny from civilians around us. XO from Canada.
I'm an army cadet and out on a camp you sleep with it it and because u do it so often and wear your hair in a bun all the time it becomes normal and ur head get use to it
I can’t sleep with a bun in either, you can prep your hair with the gel and have the pony tail in. That way you don’t have to sleep with the bun and just put it into a bun when you wake up. That worked for me with that issue.

I didn't realize it was there was that much involved in getting ready for the next day. I found this fascinating. That bun is NO JOKE. I am so impressed w this video. I had no idea the sleeves were full sleeves rolled up. Thanks for posting this, it was incredible. Also, thank you for your service Savannah Glembin
It is heartbreaking to hear a woman justifying putting on makeup because others feel the need to make mindless comments when you are doing an amazing job and service for us all. BEAUTY DOES NOT AFFECT INTELLIGENCE OR DETERMINATION. Thank you for doing what you do💛
From a sailor to you, I could never get my hair to behave like that even with the most hair gel or hair spray. Also your sleeves are crisp 💪🏻 keep doing you it’s rough but we gotta do what we gotta do
So please do a rolling tutorial!! Also how do you deal with periods when you’re away? Especially during PT? And do you sleep with the standard colored shirt because it will just speed the morning up instead of having to change really quickly? AND with all the hairspray and stuff does your bun really not move at all? And how much times do you wash it a week? Oh god I’m sorry for all the questions but I’m fascinated since I want to go into marines after I graduate
Hi! I was a Marine for 4 years, got out as a Corporal. Was a Corporal for 2 and a half years. 1. When you’re away in boot camp or in the fleet? For both, you just take care of it the way you normally would. In boot camp, with more haste and with what you’re given. In the fleet, just like you would as a civilian. 2. During PT, it’s the same as if you were working out while on your period. Double up if you have to. 3. I never slept with my skivvie shirt on. I didn’t want to wake up and go to work in the same thing I slept in. In boot camp you sleep in your skivvies and I hated it. It’s all a matter of personal preference. 4. With the right amount of gel and hairspray, your hair should feel like a helmet and should not move at all. But you’ll have to wash your hair every day and you will experience hair loss where you make your part. Switch your part up every few days so you don’t end up with a bald spot.
My Dad was a 30 year Pilot/Officer in The USAF.....I have No Doubt in my mind he'd Salute Marine Glembin AND tell her he's Proud To Serve With Her as he did so many times to enlisted men in The Air Force. Thank You For Your Service and Thank you to your Husband and Family for their Sacrifices too! Cheers From Ohio

I’m a female sailor in the Navy and I love feeling feminine and looking good in uniform. I wanted to join the military, but didn’t want to lose the part of myself that loves feeling beautiful and feminine. And I totally agree that makeup has nothing to do with the quality sailor I am and how well I can do my job( I’m a corpsman btw). Thank you for posting this. Have a good day.⚓️💙
FYI, Marines are held to a standard. The outward appearance is something that is just as important as the job that is being done. We aren't the best for no reason. You shouldn't have to explain that shit to anyone! Also, some of them are just mad they don't wear it so they look pretty too. So glad I found you! I remember my days so long ago - Thank you for doing this! Your uniform and hair are on point.
I’m in the military as well and I cannot sleep with a single pin in my hair! Your hair is great but I don’t understand how that’s comfortable to sleep in!

Thought about the break-outs: ever since my teen years I use either Sea Breeze or rubbing alcohol on cotton pads on my face and neck area, wash my face real good in the shower or bath, then use a moisturizer [I use CeraVe PM]. While I don't wear makeup, I do not have any real problems with my face and this regimen has kept me clear for decades. Just a thought. Be safe, Marine!
like, i used to be in the army and we have a no make up policy, and i get it. as a female militairy technician, i want to blend in with the men as much as i kan, i even kinda want to be seen as one and one of them. in my opinion the difference between male and female should be as small as possible, because i not only want to be part of an all male team but i dont want to attract my coworkers in any way. So we can keep it stricktely proffessional. i have nothing agains woman in the army wearing make up, as long as its not to attract the men, but for their self. i wanted to gain respect for the work i put down, not the way i looked. but her makup is great for the army, and above all everyone should do what makes them happy!
It's totally fine to wear makeup on duty I agree with you! :) You are beautiful both with/without makeup anyways, I love your personality, I watch your videos completely , I sense that you are a really genuine person :) thxx for sharing this awesome video with us, please post more videos and keep us updated!! your videos are the best.
You are correct make up is not a big deal in the military as long as it is equal to your complexion. Hot red nail polish won't work, it needs to be camouflage to you. Thank you for your service! From a retired US Army Veteran.

Thank you for being normal!!!!! Thank you for your time, dedication and service. 🇺🇸
How can you sleep in your bun like that lol . I’m in the navy and as soon as I come home my hair is out of my bun. And half the time my bun isn’t that nice lol
Love these videos! Your confidence and transparency is so good to see, you're helping a lot of younger women. Don't explain yourself you are justified in every way!
Thank you for doing what you do💛
Well, think I just found my new go to military youtuber.
omg when you mentioned the call her daddy podcast i gasped, i was not expecting that lol i love that podcast!
I appreciate, admire and yet commiserate with what you do to feel ready each day. I thank you for your service!!!
I'd really like to see how you roll your sleeves because they look nice
gurl you're amazing and beautiful!! thank you for your service
Thank you for your service Marine! No disclaimer needed!
Thank you for your service! We appreciate you!
I am a MCJROTC cadet in high school and I am signing my paperwork next year! I am glad I met you you are such an inspiration to me!!
That sulphur mask was my go to when I was struggling with acne back in high school! Such a great mask
The queen is backkkk💞 I cant believe I didn’t see this sooner, love your videos. Screw the haters cause your such a beautiful inspiration and half of those people probably just wear camo and watch tv while picking cheese balls out of their belly buttons. Keep kicking ass and taking names 💪🏽
She is so beautiful and strong inside and out! Thank you for your service ma'am ❤❤❤
I FINALLY FOUND YOUR CHANNEL.
Your cinematography is phenomenal. I cant believe you still sleep with your hair in a bun. I havent done that since bootcamp.
Hell, I havent even put on cammies in months 🤷🏻♀️
Your videographer skills and creative aspect of what you do on social media, instagram and youtube alike, have grown tremendously! I love the Alpha female/athlete and artistic sides you express through what you do. Keep it up, always a fan!

Kaitlyn Doyle thank you so much! Keep killing it beautiful ❤️
Thank you for sharing this..you look battle ready with the makeup, surprised you would get flak for it. I’m so thankful we have wonderful women like you keeping us safe everyday. Thank you for your service!
Have a good day.⚓️💙
I'm in the Navy but Marines seriously have the best hairbuns. It's so neat and beautiful
Thank you for your service!
Your dog was trying to help you with your sleeves.
Yesssss. We love our Marines being beauty gurus. You look so good beautiful ❤❤
Omg that’s amazing that she can sleep with a bun. I know I would be very uncomfortable and wake up every time I move in my sleep!
I’m in the military as well and I cannot sleep with a single pin in my hair! Your hair is great but I don’t understand how that’s comfortable to sleep in!
Ikr
You inspire me so much! I’ve watched your videos multiple times because I do plan on going to the marines in the future!🖤🙌🏽
Daeleen Pinto you’re so sweet!!❤️ good luck!
First aid beauty is awsome. It's for every skin and every skin issues.

OOOORAH SEMPER FI MS. PRETTY SAVANNAH,JUST CAME ACROSS YOUR CHANNEL AND I SUBSCRIBED! 2002-2005 I WAS A 0331 UNIT 3/5 DARK HORSE 1ST BATTALION WEAPONS COMPANY 5TH MARINES 1ST MARINE DIVISION! ENOUGH SAID WITH RESPECT OG MR.MOLINA USMC VETERAN SAN DIEGO CALIFORNIA 619!👊💪
This is such a cool video!!! I love seeing what it’s like to be a woman in the marines and to still look beautiful at that! 🤩
Always ready! Awesome Marine!. Keep up the good work !from a retired USAF E-7.
like, i used to be in the army and we have a no make up policy, and i get it. as a female militairy technician, i want to blend in with the men as much as i kan, i even kinda want to be seen as one and one of them. in my opinion the difference between male and female should be as small as possible, because i not only want to be part of an all male team but i dont want to attract my coworkers in any way. So we can keep it stricktely proffessional. i have nothing agains woman in the army wearing make up, as long as its not to attract the men, but for their self. i wanted to gain respect for the work i put down, not the way i looked. but her makup is great for the army, and above all everyone should do what makes them happy!
Mask are good for your skin however not everyday, can really strip the natural oils out of your face xx but I love this video still
Thank you for your service! I love makeup too and I know I could not give it up if I was in the military. I think your makeup looks great!
Thank you too . I can show my little girl videos like this to see that women can do anything .
you look badass cool, makeup or not, YOU are doing an amazing job and no one can judge you!
You are super kind and nice. Love your videos! You are the best!
