I linked two in the description. One exp one and another more affordable one. It’s really fun looking at sample from the tank! Def a recommended buy from me!
YYYAAAAAYYYY I LOVE THIS i was looking at google scholar for freshwater microbiology, and wow i cant wait for when i find a freshwater microbio analysis
Which attachment is needed to use your phone on this microscope? I saw your link to the microscope, does it include that attachment for me to you my android, or do you purchase another adapter? Thanks
Arthur Man I actually tried that. And unfortunately I didn’t see any movement in any of them. I think I was doing it wrong. Probably need to dye them. I may try again!
@@HobbySci would be interesting to see and yes you will need to do gram staining with those bacteria. If you can do it, i am sure a lot of people will be interested to see the results especially if you can compare the results with a few brands like aquavitro, dr tims etc
Good video. Wish there were a bunch more like it. %
I need to pick up a microscope! Love how detailed your channel gets. %

Super bro what is that black one is its a beneficial bacteria?
Outstanding job on this video. I did a video like this with skimmate using a cheap handheld microscope. This is so much better. Subscribed!
Thakns for sharing I love your microscope and how you connected the phone to it to share. I am battling Dinoflagelletes maybe amphidium.
Swift scope? About to dive into my reef tank and pull samples. Great video. Enjoyed it. %
10:40 the barrel looking thing with the tiny hairs at the top looks similar to a rotifer.
Nice update! %
So interesting! Thanks %
Nice!
% I did the same in my past video and I decided to make up a whole story on top of the video because of that.
Alfredo Reis Deus haha! Great minds! Thanks for watching! Your tank doing well?
@@HobbySci My tank is doing ok, it's going to be 1 year old in about a week, I will make a long video update.

What are you using for a phone mount on the Trinocular tube?
Something like this! Swift Microscope Lens Adapter,Smartphone Camera Adapter Mount, Microscope Accessory (Fits 26mm Eyepieces) www.amazon.com/dp/B07RZ3QQ2W/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_zCo-FbTBK29V9
It actually works really well
@@HobbySci Sweet thanks! and it works in the 3rd trinocular tube so you can still use the eye pieces?
@@ReefDudes yes it should. Just tightens around the eye piece
@@HobbySci Sweet thx! ill try one! Is there any glass in it or just a plastic holder to fit?
Nice video mate. Do you think you can do the same with bacteria products that you use or you can get? To see the differences between them?

I will definitely consider it!
Actually bacteria floats if you overflow the little cup and place your glass on the stop the bacteria sticks to it. Give it a try.

I saw Ostreopsis in your sample....
Dinoflagellates are present in almost all systems. Having a balance is important
