I get it people were dissapointed with season 1 but season 2 was promising. Finn Jones did his best and is a really good Danny rand. It's the writing that ruined the character. They need to focus on Collen and Danny more. If that happens if they show him glowing up that fist frequently. It's definitely gonna blow up. I'm still not giving up hope. I loved iron fist bro❤️
Honestly I'd rather be introducing Iron Fist in Shang-Chi first and see how the audiences reactions to him is, THEN we'll see what Marvel can do with the character.

Well that can be easily solved...at the end of season 2 he goes to Tokyo to find wendall(the predecessor to Danny) so after finding wendall...he then trains Danny and then viola!! He returns to New York fully buffed and the immortal iron fist.
Do a soft reboot for Danny AND Luke in a "Heroes For Hire" show, referencing both shows in one smooth manor, but in a couple of episodes it's Luke-centric, and in some it's Danny-centric. Heroes For Hire can be on Disney+ or Hulu, and have it officially part of the MCU.
I kind of hated Finn Jones in the role, but I can't tell if it was bad writing or bad acting. His not being a martial artist at all also factors in. Don't want Colleen Wing to take over the mantle. Danny Rand needs time in the spotlight.

It would be perfect for Marvel to use Finn Jones and Jessica Henwick back as Iron Fist and Collen Wing. And I like the two team up with Shang-Chi to fight against The Mandarin (If Mandarin is not Shang-Chi's father).
Shang Chi's existence in the MCU means we likely won't get Iron Fist. Marvel tends to like range in their characters from grounded to super powerful, and for their fighting styles/weapons to be different on screen. There's probably space for only one master of Kung Fu at a time. They choose Shan Chi. And maybe they would like to clear the slate on what was a not well received Netflix show.
I think the MCU should bring him in the end of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings or in the next Shang-Chi movie. I really hope Shang-Chi and Iron Fist team up it would be badass. I want to see the first Iron Fist in the MCU
