All great advice! So glad you mentioned getting outside, even briefly. I find a huge amount of comfort in nature. If I just take a minute to look out a window at a nice tree, hopefully with some little critters scurrying around it, it reminds me that life continues in spite of my current stress. I used to take a back-roads route to work just so that I would pass a park on my way. As soon as I saw the wooded hills in the distance, I could feel the tension begin to lift. Now retired, my most recent stress has come from the current news. I found work outdoors to quiet my mind, and lo & behold, a pileated woodpecker came to eat wild grapes in the brush across the road. Nature never disappoints!
Crafts/creating things help me. Knitting, sewing, crocheting, painting. It reminds me that I have talents, and am not entirely useless. And it gets me out of my head often.
Great video. So many of us have bipolar. It really helps having someone talk about it openly because the ups and downs in moods can make you feel like your going crazy. It’s such a complex mental illness…..
We love you both and appreciate the life experiences you courageously share as well as the coping skills. Prioritize yourselves and we will be here for our next visit. TakeCare💕

Thanks for addressing this issue today. Yesterday, after finding out election results, I and I feel several more were devastated. I was depressed and spent a lot of the morning crying. I had to keep telling myself I had done everything i could possibly do to get the results I wanted. It has been a difficult couple of days!
Love all your mental health videos. I watch all your old videos over and over. You are so well spoken. Thank you for all you share.

It’s so fitting that you’d post this before a very stressful work day for me 💖 Adore you both and hope you enjoy the 4 day weekend.
It’s comforting to know that I’m not the only one that deals with this kind of anxiety. It’s horrible and scary. Every day is a challenge 😢
I see you, I hear you. We can just do our best. I guess. ❤️
