Great work bud, in my opinion it's your best build yet, you should be proud of it my friend! :) Personally I like the dusting and I don't think it's overdone. I also agree with Shane, the weathering looks spot on. I think you have achieved and surpassed your objectives on this one.
The model is absolutely fine, garisson tanks are not either clean or brand new in any case. On the opossite, usually they are getting badly weathered daily. I've seen several old tanks in garrison in many camps here in Greece, sometimes in good shape usually in not good condition. Tamiya's T55 is an amazing kit.
wonderful work Andy, the weathering looks spot on really has that I've been sitting in stowage for months look ;) Hope you find a new kit for the North Africa GB too mate would be a shame if you had pull out
Very nicely done I'm putting together the T-62 now and will be happy if it looks half this good. Not sure if it's the dust, but you made the OD green look interesting and that's no easy task.
Well done Andy. She looks well the part buddy. I'm interested in hearing about this track sag thing you hinted at. I've always just had to super glue those rubber bands to the tops of the road wheels. I hate that... so I always aftermarket rubber band tracks like those ones. You're weathering seems to have turned out just like you wanted bud. She looks like a barn queen to me. Great work bud!!!
Thanks bud that is high praise coming from a styrene Zen master such as yourself. I'm not 100% certain how I am going to handle the tracks yet but I will be doing a vid on a new product I discovered.
That T-55 turned out really great, subtle weathering that really gives the effect you seem to have been after. Great work all in all. For North Africa GB then pick the kit you think fits best timewise, dont want you to burn out as some are doing so take an easy build and build the dragon when time permits. Have a great weekend.
She looks great buddy and really cold. ..i think it was freezing last night ;) About the PzIV. .... If you don't have the time then don't build it, it would be a shame to screw the build up or don't give it the attention it deserves just because we said you have to build it. It's your kit , you decide
Excellent work there, Andy! I totally love it. You are so on for the Tiran buddy build. That will take until next year probably, but I'll get me one of those definitely! You need to adjust your modelling to your life, not vice versa!
I think it looks awesome dude. With a tank I dont think you can possibly ever have too much dust on it can ya ? In regards to the North Afrika group build for Nigel Wells. You dont owe anyone anything buddy. As much as we would like to see you build that kit, you know what you can do in the time alotment you have to do it in. You have to keep yourself happy to keep anyone else happy bud. We know you will eventually build that kit so if you have to change kits totally to be able to get it finished in the time frame given then it is what it is. Noone will be mad at you at least they shouldnt be. So you do what you feel you have to do. The T55 looks the business bud. Love it. Job well done good Sir!!!!!
Thanks so much Deron I appreciate that! If I had built one of the more complex Dragon Pz.Kpfw IV 's previously I might not feel so hesitant to do it in this amount of time but as it stands right now I believe its too much.
You did quick work out of that one Andy !!! Most excellent work on top of that... Just received my Vallejo Primer... Same one you have used... Can't wait to put it to the Test ... The T-55 looks amazing... as for Sagging ? why not just use tread... and tread it up and down like in the old days... ? go in-between the road-wheels...? Black tread would not be visible ? or glue... works the same.... Looking forward to that ... JIG and hot water..!!! sounds interesting!
love this soviet heavy metal :) great job on it, i don´t think it looks too dusty. getting those rubber tracks into shape is quite a nightmare, i´d recommend superglue and tweezers to keep it down. i´m curious about the product you mentioned for it, maybe its easier with that one :)
Looks fantastic. Nice subtle colouring and weathering. Very well done. Well jell!
Thanks Stevie just wanted you to know that I will be doing a short paint mixing video for you sometime soon.
Superb. Very nice work
Good looking build, weathering is spot on. Well done.
The dust effects look real good, definitely not too light. Good job.
Thanks Martin that is very nice feedback.

My pleasure bud, well deserved praise!

Nice one mate! 👌👍👏
Got to love those cold war Russian tanks!
What products do you use to apply your decals without silvering, bubbles, etc.?
+Ethan Ton And incredible result, looks beautiful.
+Ethan Ton Thank you very much.
+Ethan Ton When I built this some time ago I believe I used Vallejo Decal Fix and Decal Medium but today I mostly use the Tamiya Decal products.
Thats fantastic! Thanx Andy. Did you cjeck out my models pn my channel yet?
Yes I did both Carlos and I left comments. You should check them out!
No I meant my new vids.
love this soviet heavy metal :) great job on it, i don´t think it looks too dusty.

Thanks Michael I really appreciate the kind words. It may come to ca glue this time because those track tools are kind of pricey.
Where's your dust buster? Kick them brigade folks in the pants LOL. Nah she looks good Andy :)
Thanks bud it was a fun build and I would do another one right now if I could.
I hear you and I plan on bldg it as well (Tamiya) she is on my bldg scheme. #8 of all times :)
Nice, but when your going to try new effects like dust keep an old model around to try it on first.
Superb. Very nice work
Thank's a bunch Mark I appreciate that.
