    What was the color that you used for the green? Either it didn't pop up or I missed it.

    I think the Tamiya 1/48th scale Armour kits are hidden gems. Toy like no way, that's the larger scales!

  • @robertcolbourne386
    @robertcolbourne386 4 года назад +1

    While i build 1/35 armour, that scale is getting too expensive. I thought about going to 1/48 but man those kits are $40 cad . I don't see how kids can get into the hobby.
    I loved 1/700 waterline but again spending $50 is getting out of hand .

  • @evilfingers4302
    @evilfingers4302 4 года назад +3

    Hey Andy, have you ever considered building a 1/4 scale model?, they're never cheap, but the details involved are awesome.

    Really need to tone down the volume on your music parts. Got to turn the volume up when you are talking then turn the volume way down when the classical music comes on so I don’t wake up the neighbours.

    Andy, very good vid, and very useful tips regarding track's assembly...just one question: don't you think 1/35 is the real standard instead 1/48? Why now 1/48 scale? Thank you

    • @Simonize41
      @Simonize41 4 года назад +2

      Miguel Some people don’t have enough space in their homes to display 1/35 scale kits. The 1/48 and 1/72 scale armour kits are a good alternative for that issue. Besides, you can make some interesting dioramas using the smaller scale kits, especially 1/48 aircraft/airfield dioramas (check out Tamiya’s catalogue and you’ll see what I mean).🙂👍🏻

    I just built this model at 1/35 by Lindenburg, lol what a joke. The entire kit was a mess, parts all over the sprues scaterd everywhere. Lacked detail and was not sturdy at all. Many pieces sprocket broke off putting the tracks on and the idler on the other side. Never buy another Lindberg. I'm a Tamiya or better man from here on out.

    Hi mate! You build it up in a very right way. In my opinion, (unfortunately) weathering is too... too dirty. Pigments and wash is too brown, try with more bright pigment, light soil. If you can, use two, or three diff pigments. Make a dust. Dont put too mush rusty colours, coz its a soviet tank. They really keep it in a (visual) good condition. Trust me. Barrels on back can be in aluminium colour, or black.

    Is looking great and I will surely buy more than one. But I believe they should had include the alternative parts for a Polish or Czech vehicles as they did with the 1/35 scale. And maybe the driver's hatch should had been a separate part.

      obscene words are a battle prayer of Russian soldiers.
      words put together in a single phonetic chain form a psychedelic form of destruction.
      one obscene word has 2 or more semantic forms both decent and obscene the expression in intonation has low frequency fluctuations that can coincide with the frequency of the opponent and cause a resonance in the perception of the surrounding natural world!
      be careful when using Russian words!
