For looks, I'll stick with the Gen 2, (too much Audi in this Type S for me). But it really doesn't matter because the NSX is one of those cars that people notice on the roads around town. What a striking automobile! Other drivers seem to jockey for position to get a better look. Don't see many of these cars so when there's an NSX in traffic it's a real treat. Thank you, Miles.
I think that the 2024 Corvette E - ray is a amazing offer in this class, good performance, modern interior, and a very fair price if you compare it with other Hybrid supersport cars.
the people working on the e ray benchmarked the NC1 NSX during development and felt "dissappointed" with the car its worth noting the e ray makes the same if not more power than the type S, and costs significantly LESS than the standard NC1 ever did, and sounds better because V8
What you don't mention, Miles, is that as an Acura, it is essentially a Honda--a good thing, as Hondas are far more reliable than the competitors. On paper, the McLaren is the winner, but I would not trust its reliability, nor its depreciation rate.
Looking at cars like this I always understand more and more why companies moved away from Buttons. Aluminum, suede, and leather all through, but then cheap plastic buttons throughout. I personally prefer having these buttons but it shows the big change vehicles have been making recently
Cheap exhaust tips lol but i love honda and if i had the money, this would be on top of my list, just cause practicality, Daily super driver. I would definitely pay a top end shop to weld some monstrous exhaust
Super suprising - in this video audio the interior sounds remarkably similar to the 987.2 Boxster I used to have. Such a menacing little car that I bet will be pretty valuable one day.
My favourite supercar, good choice, the perfect daily car, comfortable, silent, not so noisy like almost all the rest of supercars, First times you say what a sound, then in 15 or 30 minuts you gonna have a hard headache. This car is really funny to drive, has a fantastic road holding and with the electric engines has a burning aceleration. The right compromise for all the uses. 👍👍👍.
It really shouldhave come out this way, but Acura clearly needed a few years to fine tune it. It really went from meh, to Id but one over a ferrari (as well as the Maser, they both sit in the same realm of appeal for me). Low key, high performant and probably more reliable than most.
it needs to be lowered a few inches but it looks awesome 👍🏻👍🏻 Type S is best, if they would have updated the dash and satnav, this car would have been way more popular i think
Really nice, but a Porsche GT3 is around the same price. Corvette Z06 or Tesla Model S Plaid can be had for 60,000 less. With 60k left over, you could do a lot of mods on that z06. Or buy a Tesla Powerwall and a roof full of solar panels. This should be an $80k base price car. 100k for the type s. It would sell like crazy.
Nice car that definitely should have been released in this form from the start. Acura is a frustrating company. Many of their products come to market kind of half baked. The new Integra type S is nice but a little expensive and very limited in production.
I wish Acura used the new Acura interior like the infotainment, steering wheel, and dash like the ones found in the MDX, RDX, or integra. If that was the case and this interior was more modern that would push the NSX over the R8 for me, but for now I am gonna have to stick with an R8.
I compare this car to a Porsche 918 that’s 1/10th the price. Actually this car is much more rare than a 918 Porsche. 350 units world 🌎 wide. In a few years the price of this car will be 🚀 . See you guys at the moon 🌚 in a few years.
@@Aaaaaaaaa975 me too ! The type-s 0-60 gets 3.3 while the regular gets 2.9. I wonder because the regular has a smooth front and rear design and the type-s is more fancier in front and rear and lost the aero dynamic

Why 0-60 lost a few seconds vs the regular NSX? I wonder if its because of the new front and rear designs. The regular one has a smooth and clean design whereas the type-S has more fancy one.

Too many corvettes. It’s a good look but my janitor has one. I like to own things knowing it’s not attainable by most so I know I achieved something in life. Other than that, the corvette is a game changer. I just rather they made it limited.
Acura priced this car about $30-$40kk too steep from the beginning. Otherwise, it would have been a better sales story. I hope they come back with an EV version that they seemed to have promised.
@@MakingItHappenMWC yeah I get that. what point don't you get? had they priced it more reasonably, the non-Type-S version would have sold much better and the Type-S would have also had a wider audience and buyers. And it would likely still be in production today
it's weird, about a year ago, Acura was giving $30K secret rebates and Dealers another $10K off of the NSX. Dealers were begging folks to buy them. 1 week after announcing the end of the line, and it has become a hot car again. LOL. In reference to the review, whenever dealing with a mid-engine car, you should always comment on the legroom and backrest angle. Mid engine cars are horror shows at this. Most trade one for the other. I've had some experience with the R8 platform and with the second gen, they ate into the legroom and made the car uncomfortable.
