This guy is probably my favorite driver I've seen so far. Excellent corners, flat out, awesome drive! Tire pressures were pretty high though right? Attributing to some loss of grip given the colder temps? I haven't checked what these are going for but I bet they are worth a pretty penny. Like other enthusiasts I'm disappointed by the hybrid system but I think Honda just didn't want to go with a boosted setup and couldn't reach the numbers they wanted NA. Performance wise, amazing. And I think the main thing about the original car they wanted to achieve is the chassis and handling which they nailed! Great video!

Wrong hand position. Part of the braking stability loss was actually compounded by the hand position. The center of pressure from the hands must go through the center of rotation of the wheel, or the arms become an out-of-phase pendulum acting on the steering.

I noted he was having to turn right slightly while braking over the crest to avoid going off, that stretch of the track looks nasty off-line. I still thought the deceleration from ~130 mph to 55 mph in cold weather wasn't bad 😅 good work VSA and ABS!

Good driving in spite of bad driver position... He's getting full arm extension in turns, it's hard to have good control over the wheel like that. He should move his seat forward or the wheel back a bit if possible...

Dutch Heinsenberg is pushing on slow speed corners using all track and flooring it, putting some stress on the rears but on high speed he doesn't lean at all on the fronts.

Good driving but maybe use the paddel shifters for a fast lap... auto shifting is a little bit strange sometimes. And I think you should also fix your seating position more to sitting then sleeping...

Driving cars in automatic mode on the Nordschleife is really weird. The car definitely doesnt always know the right times to shift in this environment but in all honesty it seems to do a damn good job 98% of the time

I feel like the problem isnt with the hybrid system itself, but for the fact it powers the front wheels. Of course ive never driven one but the few reviews ive seen say it has a lot of undeersteer, and i feel like if the just added the hybrid to the motor it would have been a better (if a little more dangerous) car.

This car looks really good. It seems to like the track too, the gearbox is pretty impressive doing his own thing holding the revs and perfect downshifts while being very smooth. I looks like a very well made and executed car. Maybe if this car come out today it would be way more successful I think, Honda was very early to this hybrid tech when only a Prius and some other boring hybrid cars out in the wild.

Controversial yet underrated car. I do understand the hate because this being all techy and hybrid is too far fetched from the original philosophy, but they're trying to compete with 458 at the time.
