You can tell even as a passenger, Misha's instincts are on point. While Heisenberg was braking hard, Misha continued to focus his eyes forward then as he felt the car was able to brake in time and avoid any crashes there, he immediately looked to his side mirrors for rear traffic.
Added aero (balanced - front & rear), tires, pads.. perfect mod list for this car imo. Good driving too imo. Thanks to the owner for sharing it with us 🙏
I have a 2017 NSX in red with ECU tune and downpipes. I love it. It is interesting to see how the electric engines work on track in the video. Usually, when I'm driving, I'm too focused on driving to see when the electric engines assist.
One of my fave cars to use in GT7, and im top 2000 players on the charts. Have to make it heavy-ish with almost 700hp. It falls off hard after the the E Boost falls off. I LOVE the torque vectoring
Maybe it's just me as a Honda/Acura nerd, but I would have loved to have seen the SH-AWD torque vectoring screen on display to see where the power was being sent during the lap.
That's so nice to hear the same sound as the previous NSX. This car is incredible stable, the car seems very easy to handle. Thanks Honda, and thanks Misha
Wrong hand position. Part of the braking stability loss was actually compounded by the hand position. The center of pressure from the hands must go through the center of rotation of the wheel, or the arms become an out-of-phase pendulum acting on the steering.
I checked out some interior shots of this car, looks like you can't put your hands nicely inline with the wheel axis due to the spoke placement. I noted he was having to turn right slightly while braking over the crest to avoid going off, that stretch of the track looks nasty off-line. I still thought the deceleration from ~130 mph to 55 mph in cold weather wasn't bad 😅 good work VSA and ABS!
@@jonboy602 nah, if anything he's not quite close enough, but he may have quite long legs relative to his arms. You should never have straight arms while driving.
What an amazing variety of cars at last. Also if Misha steps in on the passenger side he is confident with the skills of the driver. This guy knows his car very good and got a quick brake reaction. 👏👍
You know why Honda makes great cars? The design grows on you over time. This model is 8 years old and now I am starting to like it, like it? Love it!! 😍 Most manufacturers design cars which look great when they come out but after two years are dated.
True of bmw too - when the g series first came out I was like 🤮but they are starting to grow on me. F series my favourite now all round car and E has my heart.
The Sega Dreamcast of cars. Too far ahead of its time for people to understand it. Not far enough ahead to compete with what came next. Ultimately both were amazing and deeply underrated.
The main problem with the new NSX is that it's slower and worse compared to the ancient GTR and 911 Turbo despite having all the "ultra high tech" hybrid gimmicks, if you couldn't make a car that could beat those two then might as well just make a non hybrid V6 turbo 500hp sportscar with manual transmission
7:51 ... I think many still remember three subaru gt with more than 350hp, in "very big" difficulty, exactly in this place... very hot. Excellent driving and indeed, very good behavior of this nsx.... nevertheless, I would still like to see this car on this same track, without the electric motors, just with its turbo V6 engine 🤔
I was honestly surprised how well the NSX performed. These things went under radar, because they were so overpriced compared to the competition, but you love to see them.
Overpriced? What other car in this price range had the tech and engineering of this car? The next ones were a million pound each. If it had a Ferrari badge people wpuld be saying its cheap. Badge snobbery honestly.
@@mokodorali5975 I´m not a ferrari fan at all. Just saying, the car released at the same time as, for example, nissan gtr, which, was faster, more tuner friendly and cost half as much as NSX. I would normally not like driving in auto for the gearbox on the track, but man this NSX didn’t skip a beat with selecting gears. Very much impressed by that. Also very well driven by the owner 🙏🏻
Good driving in spite of bad driver position... He's getting full arm extension in turns, it's hard to have good control over the wheel like that. He should move his seat forward or the wheel back a bit if possible...
Driving cars in automatic mode on the Nordschleife is really weird. The car definitely doesnt always know the right times to shift in this environment but in all honesty it seems to do a damn good job 98% of the time
wow he drove the entire lap in automatic, not shifting himself 😵 I'd be scared for an unwanted gearshift whilst accelerating in a corner or something. I can tell the dude knows his car though
I feel like the problem isnt with the hybrid system itself, but for the fact it powers the front wheels. Of course ive never driven one but the few reviews ive seen say it has a lot of undeersteer, and i feel like if the just added the hybrid to the motor it would have been a better (if a little more dangerous) car.
Shame about the piped-in engine noise :( It's even more aggressive in Track mode. But what a car! This is the hybrid future I'm OK with - massive ICE engine and some electric power to fill in the torque gaps. That torque dyno reading is mad. Must be a lot of fun to drive.
I always love the NC NSX, although I do think it needs to be both lighter (maybe 50kg) & more power (maybe 50hp) to make it competitive against rivals like R8 V10. That said, would love to see someone give it a set of coilovers + sticky tires + good aero like this white one, would be interesting to see how great it truly is!
Good driving but maybe use the paddel shifters for a fast lap... auto shifting is a little bit strange sometimes. And I think you should also fix your seating position more to sitting then sleeping...
the funny thing is that now we say relative new car a 6 year old car and on 2005 we said new car a car that was produced in the same year if not the previous year
Always liked the look of the modern NSX but it was priced a bit wrong and still is!! Its a reliable good looking sports car but few would have it over a Huracan for example.. Honda should have skipped the Electric stuff on this version and just gone with a ICE so it could have been sold at a much lower price and complexity and fixability over time would have made it a classic but Honda chose another way..
As far as I'm concerned, the sound of this car's engine is a real disaster in terms of the symphony! That's why I didn't have the courage to watch the full lap! 🙁
I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that I question Ayrton Senna’s involvement in the development of this car.. Micha’s fscial expressions are hilarious 😂

Yea like it’s his driving test, arms are flat when he turns 45 degrees too, could be a little closer. Still, not bad driving overall.

He should be seated closer, for proper position. But I guess to each their own. His driving skills were on point.
@@JON3Z agreed. Initially I was sceptical as well, but he did well.
I was thinking the same but when you look at the steering wheel, looks kinda thick in the middle so he has to hold it like this for more grip?
