I’m watching your videos for years. Normally I‘m a silent viewer, but today I want to say that I love them.🥰 I like the atmosphere at wonderful Scotland, that you always capture so great in your videos. Many Greetings from Germany. 💙
This is near where I lived for first 9 yrs of my life. I grew up in Bemersyde near St Boswells … Sir Walter Scott country…I always describe having the most peaceful and lovely childhood. I have visited many times and it always takes my breath away. We were walking distance to the River Tweed and seeing you walking on the stones of my memories filled me with joy. It truly is a little bit of heaven on earth. ❤️
I love it how you position the little china doll in your finds. It's a bit like a hide and seek. And to see you through the window in the rain is lovely, you are comfortably dry whereas the viewer is drenched! 😂
A few weeks ago I stayed just outside Bewick-on-tweed, I walked the beach early each morning to search for fossils/anything. I found many, over 80, good quality carnelians shell fossils but my best find was a potoskey stone, made my year! In suffolk I find carnelians but very few, I do though find lots of shark teeth, my record is 102 in 3 hours! Love your RUclips’s and understand the absolute thrill at finding things.
Hi from the USA! That beautifully worn pottery just makes my heart happy! It’s truly my choice over the sea glass, even though I love it as well I would be crazy with all the cool rocks and pebbles! You girls are so blessed to have places like that to go to.. that tree lined lane? such beauty!! You both are lovely as well! Your voices are very calming:) thanks for the great videos !
Beautiful finds in a beautiful place. Please could you consider making a video of your cleaning process, I’m intrigued by how you get your finds so clean. Sarah x
The trees in the intro of this video took my breath away. The music was beautiful! I had my headphones in, and its about 10:30 at night in Tx right now, and my husband just tapped me on the shoulder because apparently I whispered “WOW!” So i had to show him. His response? “Wow”
I have been watching for a long time now and love every episode. I guess it’s in my blood. My Mom was #10 of11 children. Her Father was an auctioneer as well as 5 of her brothers and some of their sons. Ilove old things. They have such a charm and wonder to them. Really enjoy the history. You speak of little bits for rings and pendants. Some of us like a larger size pendant or ring.😉. Thank you for your fun exploring and making history come alive!! I never miss an episode!! God bless your efforts and hard work. ♥️✝️♥️
It would be wonderful if you took some of those smooth rocks & painted your logo on them & put them in your shop! Who wouldn't love a memory of our favorite mudlarkers 😁
Hello ladies. It is so nice to see you to back together on the hunt for tiny treasures. Unveiling history hidden for centuries just waiting to be found. Thank you ❤.
The wheat blowing in the wind is mesmerizing. Your cinematography has spoken to me! You guys definitely need to do some lapidary work on some of those rocks and include them and some of the River glass in your jewelry. Great river to mudlark in!
I just love your videos so much. It's so wonderful to see a mother and daughter with shared interests who build each other up. I wish my mum was into the same things I am so we could spend quality time together like this, but we're both so different. Thank you for sharing your adventures with us!
I had to buy myself a rock hound book for rocks found in Washington State after I moved here last year. My dad got me into rock hounding and left me a treasure trove of so many rocks and all the machines needed to cut and polish. I would recommend trying to find a book for your country. Another amazing video ladies, truly enjoy sitting down relaxing while watching your videos. ❤
I am so glad you brought the stones and especially the wooden stick fork home. Yay, for the sea glass winners! I'm a little envious but I will survive!
Hello Gail and Alex! Yes, the Tweed river was beautiful and all the sea glass is just gorgeous. Loved the odd looking stones and the hag stones were incredible, too cool! Congrats to the winners, enjoy the sea glass. Big hugs and love from Texas!😍😉😁
Great adventure. I even enjoyed seeing the millions of smooth river rocks. They reminded me of an artist in Nova Scotia who used rocks like that from the Bay of Fundy to paint on. He'd paint birds on them using acrylic paints. Most were a size that could be used as paperweights and he'd paint little finches, chickadees, humming birds and the like on them. He was very successful selling them at craft shops etc.. Because they weren't too big or too expensive, they were perfect souvenirs for tourists to remember their trip to Nova Scotia. I once saw him interviewed and he was asked how many he had made. His answer was something like "enough to be able to pay for all his kids to be university educated". 🐦
Greetings from wintery Ballarat Victoria Australia. I love to watch your channels...often as I am getting ready for work. This morning, I had the giggles as every time you said 'River Glass' I heard ''Riverdance'. And I see my favourite mudlarks 'Michael Flattley-ing' along the Tweed! 😅😂😊❤ P.S Is it just me because it's breakfast time... the agates look like bacon!🥓
Second video back in a few years. I really love the progression you have made as an editor, your editing enhances the natural wonder you have for your environment.
Beautiful video! Enjoyed seeing the rocky shore with the pieces of pottery, glass and assorted finds! I love seeing all the different types of rocks and pebbles! It would be hard to leave so many behind! Congratulations to the sea glass winners!
Greetings ladies! As I watched mother and daughter walking to the river, couldn't help but think of my mother, long gone now. Would have loved those walks and sharing time, however we didn't have an amicable relationship. We went our separate ways and never reconnected again. Keep your love and devotion alive, it is greatly admired by all daughters and mothers. God bless you, and thank you for sharing.
This was the most beautiful river I’ve seen in quite a long time. I truly love Scotland and it’s beautiful scenery. You both found such stunning river glass, pottery and many amazing agate’s. Some of the rocks/stones are unimaginable. Very beautiful day for you both ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜
Lovely pieces of glass and pottery and peek a boo pudding dolls I see you . Looks like you both had a great day river larking. Congratulations to your winners 🎉
What a wonderful lark ladies. The trees along the path to the river were so large and so magnificent. I'd be tempted to give them a hug too. The fields of corn blowing in the wind, looked so pretty too. I loved the softly rounded edges of the pieces of pottery you found. It always amazes me, when a perfect scene is enclosed within the pieces. Great for making jewelery. Gosh and how much river rolled glass did you find. It looked like frozen water all washed clean and sat on the table. That long piece of brass plate was a great find. I'm sure you'll put that to very good use. Maybe the brass ring could be made into some kind a frame. Its deep enough to add some interesting little bits and bobs you've found...maybe. Lastly...who indeed can resist a Hag stone. The ones you found were so perfect. Especially the first one, with the circular hole. Thanks for another joyful lark. Xx
The beautiful glass ...I keep seeing little art pained the beautiful blue beach palms sand bit sun blue water. Then covered to shinning clear varnish or silcoin. Anyway your projects for the shop.
And….My heart missed a beat when I saw the intro…thought it was one of the lanes I ran down as a child whilst playing near the River Tweed. So many memories rushed in.
Hi.Gail and Alex! Would you have a rock tumbler? All the cool rocks you find with patterns through them could be tumbled to make a nice smooth stone! Oooh a shop!
How wonderful to live near such beauty. I love to see wheat blowing in the wind. There is a field near me that is on a hill. Just gorgeous when the breezes play with the wheat.
Use the lovely pebbles you find as gravel that way you can take as many as you like and they will look lovely in the garden paths and around the house 😊
When I watch these videos and you show the land and the music it just makes me feel like there is magic there. It's such a beautiful place. The culture and beauty of Scotland is like no other and I truly hope one day to be able to experience it. Thank you so much for your videos ladies. I always love watching them.
When I walk the dogs on the beach I always take one nice shell for each walk. I choose it carefully. One of our little dogs used to pick it, I do it in memory of her. If you picked one stone each time, you could border your Rose Garden with a border of pretty pebbles, hag stones and river glass. Just a thought. I mix our shells in amongst the river stones with the succulents. 😊😊😊🌵🌵🌵
Another fun video. ❤ your finds are always fun to see, but I absolutely love your scenic filming, very professionally done and the music always adds to it.
It suddenly struck me why I feel so hopeful when I enjoy your larkings. You say "this will look wonderful when it is all cleaned up." I also look significantly better when I am all cleaned up. So, there is a massive, though not truly visible, connection! :)
Hello to you both, the walk to the river was really lovely, the leaves rustling in the old beech trees was so nice. Thank you for taking us along, and then finding the amazing treasures. I would love to know who sings the song about A Gordy, that you play very often in your videos. It would be nice if the music you put on was in the description as its really nice. Thanks again, see you next time.......Alioban ❤❤
I enjoy your videos very much. You both have beautiful voices and it is good to see the love between you two. I really enjoyed the scenes where the wind was playing in the wheat field. Keep up the good work!
Your opening scenes are so lovely. The golden sea of wheat brought me to tears(I'm a sentimental old fool :))
I’m watching your videos for years. Normally I‘m a silent viewer, but today I want to say that I love them.🥰 I like the atmosphere at wonderful Scotland, that you always capture so great in your videos. Many Greetings from Germany. 💙
You will be disappointed. The regular places they visit are in England, not Scotland.
@@Paddy_O-Verload Wether in England or Scotland, the landscape they‘re showing is beautiful.

The pink stone was a nice example of rose quartz. Beautiful

Thank you so much for the views of the wheat field! Brought back precious memories of working the farm with my dad!

Don’t think your allow to take shells or rocks for commercial purposes sea glass is ok as it defined as rubbish
Hello ladies. It is so nice to see you to back together on the hunt for tiny treasures. Unveiling history hidden for centuries just waiting to be found. Thank you ❤.

Yay, for the sea glass winners! I'm a little envious but I will survive!
Scotland has to be one of the most beautiful countries i have ever seen.
I would love a series of 12 videos for the 12 days of Christmas. Each one being a different ornament or craft for the tree made from finds.
The treess along side of the lane are gorgeous. Tall , twisted and majestic. If they could only tell us their stories. It is very beautiful there.

Please do this give away again and give more a chance to win. Congratulations to the winners and thank you Gail and Alex for the give away!
That brass ring thing would make a beautiful sun catcher with the river glass inside it. Maybe with resin fill.
Lovely pieces of glass and pottery and peek a boo pudding dolls I see you . Looks like you both had a great day river larking. Congratulations to your winners 🎉

And….My heart missed a beat when I saw the intro…thought it was one of the lanes I ran down as a child whilst playing near the River Tweed. So many memories rushed in.
You could paint a little yacht on the faded blue and white striped piece . It would make a lovely sea scene
Congratulations to the two winners ✌️🤍
You could use some of your stones and pebbles to make a garden mosaic in sand or concrete.
Great haul Ladies! The river area looked amazing. Thank you.☺️💐💐🫶🏻
More crafting please ladies!
Your videos are so very real. It's like being right there you. Feels like family and friends. Thank you.❤❤

How wonderful to live near such beauty. I love to see wheat blowing in the wind. There is a field near me that is on a hill. Just gorgeous when the breezes play with the wheat.
Gale I'm sure the stone you picked up which you said was a conglomerate is a pudding stone.
Your pebble at 39:37 looks like a fossilized clam or mussel. I so enjoy your videos and your creative ideas. 😊
Use the lovely pebbles you find as gravel that way you can take as many as you like and they will look lovely in the garden paths and around the house 😊

It sounds like it could be Alex but she said it's not her. But it's so beautiful.
Wonderful video ladies. I started watching it on my phone but decided I had to watch it on the big screen. Love the trek to the river.
Love the Glowing River Glass! And the interesting Rocks.

Great finds! That brass 'ring' would make a nice heavy belt buckle. You could even fit a circular cut piece of tile or other ceramic in the center.
What a beautiful day! Looks like a very peaceful spot for river larking. You've inspired me to go exploring the Ystwyth here soon for treasure.
Picture sandstone- so beautiful!
Great video. What a beautiful day and location. Thank you.
Wonderful!, I love the blue heart shape glass and the dinosaur poop. 😂

Yay! I’ve been waiting for this! Congratulations to the winners🎉!
