I love Alex's "It's a LEG!" exclamation, it's tradition! 😊
Thank you both so much for another lovely video, great to see you're having a beautiful, sunny day! ❤❤
Much love from El Segundo, CA.
The horse, the blue heart, the pudding doll, the rabbit, the silver coin, and the two pipes ,wow
Thank you bringing us along! Love the 🎶and 🐎you found.
Loved seeing the two pudding dolls frolicking together in the roundup. For some reason I was reminded of Heidi and Kiara on the mountain.😊. The legless little one just needed a wheelchair!!😂
ALWAYS lovely to see you two ladies!! Loves the bird, at the very end, stopping to say "so long!". 🥰🕊️
So beautiful! Perfect ending 🐦
Great finds! I love you have found a companion for the pudding doll…now they can get into some interesting poses together. 🥰
Your not alone in the love of the little things. You find such interesting items on your larks. Plus then you give, more often than not, a history or snippets of information about the things you've both found. It just adds to the enjoyment of sharing your larks.
Yey to finding treasure too. 😂
A silver victorian coin. Not to be sniffed at. I really liked the hare printed into the lead piece...blob. its a shame we couldn't see that whole. Also the clay horse...that was lovely. What a pipe that must have been.
I'm now off to watch the Lost Tower diaries. See you again soon. X
You could make mosaic jewelry by setting bits of uranium glass into silver, or plastic, or any colored glass. Even into grout.
I was thinking to melt the uranium glass and make beads for bracelets etc.
Beautiful finds and great round up !!! ❤🦘
I'd love to have Alex pushed the little rabbit into her sand molds and pour silver in it and make a little charm. The rabbit is so cute.
Some of those broken beads and blobs might make very bright pretty dishes if "slumped" together in your kiln on a porcelain mold.... :)
Its nice your tiny pudding dolls has a little friend and they still make me laugh when I see where you put them. I love love love the hare and its right for this time of year. It would make a lovely wall plate or perhaps Alex could cast it its so beautiful.
Nice variety of finds I believe Gail is right about the rabbit being a test of a mould ...it's better to waste lead than the final material for a test but it wasn't wasted because it has found a new home within your collection of curios....it's cool when little dolly has a friend to play hide and seek with....and we all love "It's a Legg"...looking forward to next week...Karl from eastern Canada
I love going mudlarking with you guys, you never know what you are going to find. Be safe and continue bringing us great mudlarking videos. 😊
Thank you, you too! ❤️🥰
Thanks ladies, I love the nature shots, the pipes look brilliant after cleaning and I can well imagine the beauty that you'll create with your other finds, cheers!!!
Great video as always ladies x
It’s really beautiful there amongst the trees.Amazing isn’t it how nature takes over and reclaims the land back in time ,isn’t it ?..The River was pretty full this time too,..It will take that piece you’re walking on before lone I should think.Nice assortment of finds today .,my favourites are the small bowl and the decorative heart. Thanks for taking us along ..Love n Light 🥰
I am crying and laughing at your struggles. You remind me so much of my daughters and I who have found ourselves using brute force and determination to get a “treasure” home. I am a loyal fan who is so happy to found others of our tribe😂😂
I love how the dollys march to the beat of their own drum!
More excellent content from these two lovely ladies!
Fan from west GA USA! Hope you find great things today!
I'm a fan from Dahlonega, Ga. Northeast corner

Your new pudding doll can now becan accomplice to the other one; getting up to all kinds of mischief! 😄
I love the background music! Great video as usual! Thanks for taking us along !
love the funny montages at the beginning of the round-up...so fun. Another fun lark, thank you!
A tad late here, sorry, nice finds that week.
Alex---I just LOVE when you say,...."It's a leeeeg"! I follow a couple on FB who love antiques and are restoring an old house. The other day he found some fabulous furniture in the trash, that also had some little people that were attached to it, and one item he found was.........a LEG! 😅🤣. I literally laughed out loud, and then told him all about you! He said he would check out your channel. Then other people chimed in and said how much they adore your channel, and then someone else said they were quite intrigued and would check you out as well. So, you are quite famous now for saying, "It's a leeeeg"! 😅. Please keep saying it. 😊
At 14:38 in the video, there was broken red glass below where Gail was examining a pipe stem. If it was old red glass, it would have been made with gold, and worth collecting to re-melt into something new. At the final tabletop reveal, your conjecture on the matte vs. shiny finish on some cod marbles was interesting. It makes sense that the more the bottles (and the cod marbles within) were re-used, the more worn they'd look; even the bottles. I also imagine the type of liquid within the bottles would impact how worn they'd get. The more acid based the drink was, the more it would react on the glass, surely. Again, a fun day on the tip, always enjoyable with you two.
I think melted glass makes the piece extra special! Like a work of art rather than a damaged specimen. Idk, I just love to look at them.
You guys found all kinds of wonderful finds. Just love them. Cool stuff. ❤❤❤
Im late watching. Broke down on the A1 travelling back from Yorkshire to the NE. I try and place myself in mind on your find locations It makes my day when I watch many thanks sharing your excitement enthusiasm and charisma. I enjoyed another vid Keep safe and well Gail and Alex
The lead bunny would make a beautiful Christmas ornament. Also, I think the brass thing might be part of a hurricane lamp. I love what you do. And you create beautiful things out of them.
I love seeing you make items from your finds. I saw you work with copper and make glass beads. Keep the crafting going on your recordings.
I agree with all. I find myself also exclaiming "it's a leg!, It's a bead!, it's a bopper stopper!" 😂
I loved the bird shots at the end...!
What interesting finds today ladies, my favourite is the little horse, l’m amazed it’s in good condition, already watched you operate the digger, that was a fun video, tfs x Julie
I REALLY LIKE WATCHING YOU TWO THANK YOU FOR TAKING THE TIME TO MAKE THESE INFORMATIVE VIDEOS AND I LOVE YOUR ACCENT ALSO.I AM FROM THE SOUTH IN THE USA IN KENTUCKY .
Love watching you ladies my favorite find is the horse and the little chubby pudding doll
IT'S A LEG :) yeah.. great finds Ladies, i love the pipes with the hare being my favorite
find..very wicker man ish :)
I love the little heart pendant and the running hare ( amazing spot there Alex, I wish I had your eyesight 😊) I love watching your creative minds work, that little egg cup would definitely make a perfect crinoline dress.
Hares to another blue heart in the window of wonders😎✌🏼🤟🏼🖖🏼🥰
When I was young, there was a platform in the massive horse chestnut tree in our front yard. The perfect place sit and read. I loved that old tree. Sadly it is no longer standing.
Sorry i couldn't make it last night as i had to get up early this morning for a day out! I like all the bits and pieces that you found especially the Hare lead blob it was unusual. I thought about it for a while and maybe it could have been part of a run of them around a Victorian garden plant holder, the type thats an exaggerated wine glass shape? I love it when you bring in the frozen charlotte to play expecially with her disabled new friend aaaaaw shame her legs had come off 😟 Keep up the good work, and thanks for sharing 😀❤
Thanks!
Thank you so much! xx
Thank you both. 😊❤😊
I like the blue ball topper. Pen is very interesting.
I’m thinking of setting up a fund for a set of Kevlar clothes for Alex to forage under brambles and bushes. The lengths that girl goes to fossik for little gems in the undergrowth is above & beyond. You two must have exceptional eyesight, or have your eye 👁️ “well in” to find some of those teeny things. I adore the tiny beads.😊😊😊 My hands ache with a long forgotten muscle memory when I look at your poor cold reddened fingers. So, so 🥶
I love your videos.
I wish I could come and spend two weeks with you ladies.
I love you both and God bless your treasure finds!!❤
Been waiting all day for my fav ladies new vdeo!!!❤❤❤
Yay! Thank you! ☺️
Such beautiful environment for a rubbish dump. Mother nature sprucing herself up.
The way you place the pudding dolls makes me smile every time. Where will they show up next. 😂
I watched this one twice I enjoyed it so much, I've found out I'm Scottish on my Mom's side . How exciting I'm so glad.
You guys find such cool things ❤❤
I can't resist saying it's a LEGGGG either 😂 The lead rabbit is really unusual, I can't imagine what it was used for. Love the pudding doll escapades, they are like cats, into everything 🙃 Another great time hunting for those glorious bits and bobs that make your channel so special ☺ Love and hugs to you both, 🥰🥰 xx
Cool video an finds I noticed your bird feeders in the windows that is a good thing to do it keeps the birds from flying into the window keep on keeping on 🇺🇸
The broken cameo piece would make a nice Salem witch in a moonshape.
WE love you two
Lovely finds ladies ❤ 53:18
Brilliant as always lady's.. already looking forward to your next adventure🎉🎉🎉
Thanks so much Tony! 😊
A legless pudding doll and a leg that doesn't quite match her! Love all your finds as always. ❤😊
When you held the very clear Codd marble over the pipes it looked like the marble had teeth! always enjoy mudlarking with you two, The Pen example you found to show us called Red Dwarf reminded me of the comedy show by the same name.
So glad you wear gloves, unlike another mudlarker I've watched 😂
Love most of your vudeos, my day is not complete, without watching any of your videos, their interesting and at its gives viewers knowledge, about history of most of your finds, especially victorian. Goodluck to both of you, from Philippines ❤
LOL! Alex you always end up in the brambles!🤣😆
I’ve made it a habit 😅
One day there will be berries on the brambles ❤
The Scottish County is so much like the pacific northwest ❤
@@LisaCates-j8iwho says it's Scotland?
@@Miss_Tootsthe ladies live in Scotland, the commenter could of been referring to the views around Gail & Alex’s home which is definitely Scotland.
Very cool ladies! ❤from NC !
Love you both so much 😊
Looks like maybe the round brass thing could have been part of an old miners lamp
Would love to see some of the china pattern sherds sometimes. I know you don’t pick them up but, they’re so beautiful to look at. ☀️
33:41 Maybe it's the perfect size for the tea-cosy/pincushion lady you put in the cabinet 😁
Edit: Maybe the lead hare could be cleaned up and used as an easter decoration, and maybe you could make some casts of it for a bit of easter decor for he shop 😊
I love your glasses Gail they look nice. . I look so forward to your videos on both channels. I used to go with my grandmother when they plowed the orange groves in California looking for old bottles.
The pudding doll has a great face.
I say it’s a LEG! When you find one too!😂
Maybe you should take some pruning shears next time you crawl in the brambles.
Love your videos, such interesting finds!! By the way, that dish is crackled, not crazed ;)
From Wikipedia: Crazing is a fine network of linear features which frequently precedes fracture in glassy thermoplastic polymers. Crazing occurs in regions of high hydrostatic tension, or in regions of very localized yielding, which leads to the formation of interpenetrating microvoids and small fibrils. If an applied tensile load is sufficient, these bridges elongate and break, causing the microvoids to grow and coalesce; as microvoids coalesce, cracks begin to form xx
I hope your Laurals and chestnuts take root and produce trees for you. Hello from South Bristol NYS USA.
Alex, You need to carry small handheld grass clippers with you to cut the stickers away.
My favorite is blue heart bead
Lady on button is beautiful
Make your own mold of the Rabbit and make a bunch of pins.
Mystery pencil might be a threadhole instead of ledhole ❤
That looks like maybe it’s a shoe button- your first find Alex
Why don’t you pick up some of the patterned broken crockery. It could be great to use for a mosaic project 👍🏻 love your channel btw i happened to stumble upon it and now im hooked x
תודה ❤❤❤
The hollis thing use as a candle holder
I read somewhere that hares were sacred to Queen Boudicea. It is rumored that she set loose a wild hare to divine how she should deploy her army in their first battle against the Romans… Her first victory…
Thank you for a lovely day 🤗❤️🌈🙏🕊️
I'd love to be able to hang out with you guys one day.❤ I love digging in the dirt and finding stuff. Here in the US I can't think of where to go. Lol. Also, how do you fill your feeders? I love the way they are on the window. It is very cool. Thanks! My Gramps has those horse chestnuts in Minnesota and I tried to germinate the seeds I had kept but they were too old. 😢
Gail, Alex, if you were to re-heat the uranium glass pieces you're always finding, couldn't you make your own wound beads from that glass? just saying... lol. Thanks for all your videos, im steadily catching up on most of them... been watching for awhile now, occasionally... Great Video's!!!
What is the listing of your other channel. Greetings from Texas.
Lost tower diaries
Hey! I got an idea! You could glue the pretty bowl without a base..to the brass "bell" without a top! It would look nice, I think.
That lead rabbit looks like the rabbit from samian wear!
Oh, yes it does, doesn't it!
Maybe that rabbit was formed during a fire by having some lead (probably from some Britain's Tin Soldiers, or some other similar things) drip into the reverse side of brass stove roundel, or something.
I think that cover you made into a bowl might have been to cover a large face powder puff.
It’s a Cobb blobble.
The horse looks like Alexander the greats horse 😅
What is the music at 29 minutes that has the bell ringing?
I have been watching for years. I don't know if u realize but your voices are not as clear as they use to sound u sound a little muffled check against your older videos. love u guys. Have a Great Day!!!
The rabbit can be a paper weight
❤❤❤👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Bring some secateurs if you really have to go into the brambles
Can you take the tiny figure of children an make a fountain using them an arrange them in a small bowl or container an add rocks ! Some way?!
Hi ladies. The naked men on the pipe bowl might not be footballers in the way we know them. They look like Greek athletes from the ancient Olympics. They didn't bother much about clothes in the day!.
Yeay, it‘s sunday again! \o/
