Good one ladies...
I recently purchased a metal detector & as a favor to a friend I detected the old homeplace...
As it turned out , a man 85 yrs old lost his class ring in the 70's .
He was plowing a small garden spot with a tiller & he thought the ring came off there...
It was a realatively small garden , so I began detecting...
After 6 hrs of digging up trash & a few coins , I did find the ring...
It was a gold college ring with a center gemstone & two small diamonds..
It cleaned up perfectly & the elder gentleman put it back on his finger after 50 yrs..
The university has tripled in size since he graduated from this school in 1967 & then taught there .
That is amzing! I bet that brought a rear to someone’s eye! Wow!! How wonderful!!! Great job!
Tremendous find for the gentleman! He was lucky to have you and your metal detector come into his life 👏👏👏
Fantastic work on your part, great ending for the gentlemen who lost it. 50 years is almost a lifetime.
Oh he must have been so excited! That would be better then finding a pirate treasure making someone relive a memory.
What a wonderful find! Some things are more precious than gold to the owner who lost it! (Why was he roto-tilling with diamond jewelry on in the first place I wonder?)
I'm so glad you kept the rabbit! It can be your first Easter decoration. It's right around the corner you know. Back to the rabbit...I put broken ceramics like that in the soil of my potted house plants. One doesn't need the whole piece to paint a pretty picture.
Good idea! Broken doll faces and broken critters as well 😊
I think the bunny driving a car might be part of an egg cup ? Perhaps it had a chocolate egg in it originally as an Easter gift ? 😄
Lovely to see the table roundup at the end.
And it was lovely to see the beads on a wire but don't forget to add all of the beads you have found already this year. I love to see the bead collection grow!
What a great day of mudlarking! Thank you for your amazing videos girls! I am always waiting for them!
I AM TOO!!!! Always a great day when the Northern Mudlarks upload 😊
I laughed when you said, "Hello", to the doll's head after you washed it. Lol
My grandfather was a lamplighter in my city in the early 1900’s as a teenager. Very cool history. Love seeing the amazing things you find.
What an interesting job. Happy to learn men actually had such jobs. Pretty neat to think about.
Lovely time with the Northern Mudlarks! Thank you again for a fun video! 🌹🌹
No need for me to say what to put in the window of wonders as you chose the things I was going to say but the marble was lovely too. The littel face with the hat on is in such good condition and beautiuful pastel colours. What a lark!! Great finds all round and lovely colour on some of those bottles. Stay safe and warm.
Have you ever thought about restoring all your hat pin beads back into hat pins? I’d bet you’d have quite a collection!
Such lovely treasures.
ANOTHER FANTASTIC MUDLARKING OUTING WITH YOU GUYS, REALLY ENJOYED IT...
What beautiful finds you both have found this week. So glad you kept the rabbit driving the car Gail 🐰 so cute!
You can talk about everything ladies as I am sure I'm not the only one who would love to watch you both all day! 🧐👍
Bunny for window 🐰💗
I love Monday morning (Australian time) when I get to watch your latest adventure. 🙂 Thanks again for taking us with you and producing such amazing videos for us to enjoy. I loved the red leaf bead and the little boy holding the toy plane.
I just love every single find! Such gems!
The jet black bead is not only a horse shoe design but it also looks like some kind of insect in the middle of the horse shoe. That’s what I saw 1st then Alex pointed out the horse shoe. It’s so cute. And the rock! I spotted that 1st being a huge rock collector. I was shouting OMGOSH LOOK AT THAT AGATE!!! I was chuffed (as Alex would say 😊) then she picked it up especially for me 😂 I just know it!! Ugh so pretty!! I was also thinking the tooth could also play a role of a bead 😊 SUCH TREASURE!!! Well it was a grand mudlark indeed ❤️👍
I enjoy your channel so much! Thank you for sharing
So many lovely finds and beads on this trip. I was thinking the star could be off an American uniform from the 40s maybe. I like the ladies head in the bonnet and so much history from such small finds. Thank you

Hello 👋 from New York USA you Guy's found Some Amazing Finds my Favorite Definitely Was the the Beads and Marbles Thank you for Bringing me Along with you Guy's I can't wait to see What you Find Next 😊
Beautiful and intriguing finds ladies. Hey Alex, here is a thought regarding that colourful marble, encase it in a circular silver cage(made by you of course) so it can roll around and then attach one of those beautiful silver chains that your mum makes. Do like that pink piece of triangular glass, stunning colour.
That was a fascinating history lesson with those little finds..the story of the glovemakers/ sewers was really sad really..that a child probably sewed that button on a high society glove..touching..it is always intriguing as to where these items like beads and random toys come from..a Victorian junk drawer perhaps.. lol..lovely finds! I think that pink glass drop is divine for the sun if the window of wonders! Thanks for larking in the cold for us!
You can see that is a canine tooth. The texture is caused by infection. There is large cavity on lingual side of tooth and the apex of the root has also been “eaten” away. Love your show and your finds.
Cool, thanks so much for sharing this information. Much appreciated.
🙂🐿🌈❤️
Sydney Australia
P.s the slight serrations just up from the point are interesting.
That is a canine tooth but not from a canine
when someone uses words like “lingual” and “apex”, the rest of us should pay attention.
Sound like your a dentist or dental student with experience
@@lorienray6216 I was an advanced practice license Assistant. I did fillings made all the temporary crowns etcetera for 15 years. Then I went to nursing school cause I had neuropathy and was able to do the detailed work cause when my neck was down my hands went to sleep. So now I’ve been a BSN-RN since 2009.
So glad to see you both. Bless you
I agree precisely with your window selection. They both have subtle colour and I especially like the angled design of the chandelier piece. Thank you for uploading.
I’m so glad you did a short review of your most interesting and or best finds this week since I don’t always have enough time to listen to your whole video. Thanks

Love the car driving bunny. I'd put him on a board and add a road, trees and mountains to make it look like he's driving to the next tip.

✨🌸I thought it was quite a blue bead-y day, until I saw your collection of beads for the day, and it was very colourful, black, green, red, orange, white & yellow. Besides the two awesome finds of a doll’s fine porcelain head, and the lovely pink chandelier dangling piece, I thought the marbles could go in the window….because, well, I love marbles, too.⭐️🌸
