Ok. I have to admit i got a little tear eyed over the kindness of your beautiful gifts. I got a little nostalgic. And so excited there are personal(usable) things as well😊 😊
The green round thing that has crochet around it - was once a window shade pull! My grandma used to crochet as such around her window shade pulls. It added a warm and lovely “elegance” to each window - making the ordinary a bit more extraordinary!
I was just about to comment the exact same thing…the person who sent you all these treasure really does appreciate and enjoy your adventures Fleur and Kate…this was a joy to watch.x
You got that right!! I told my husband just last week that some I watch have more viewers ( and Why, I DONT Know, kit and caboolers dont have) and some have sponsors that buy them expensive stuff but that I loved even MORE the treasure boxes that are sent to fleur and kate. So much fun!! AND that 1st box with flowers is a wonderful treasure in and of itself!
You both didn’t even have to leave your house this day to find such gorgeous treasures 😊 Scott and Becky are truly gems to send you all of these stunning pieces to do as you wish. I’m sure you’ll be crafting for some time! Wonderful pen and gift friends from afar. Totally loving people. Enjoy ☺️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜
Kate and Fleur you must be very proud of your artwork on this channel to get this wonderful gift from your subscribers, I’m really fascinated and excited from all this delicate things you offer from this package. Some things I’ve never seen before and they are so amazing so beautiful and these extraordinary pieces are in the right hands to make something mindblowing with it. Waiting for the next episode to see what things are coming. Thanks for sharing all these little treasure pieces with us.
That is the most amazingly beautiful gift box I have ever seen in my life. I really enjoyed watching the two of you open it and discover it's hidden treasures. Thank you for sharing it.
That beading collection makes one think you need an Art Deco doll house. Some of it would make a cool tapestry for the wall or pelmets over windows inside...those beautiful postcards could be framed...imagine that over a Victorian sofa. The metal acorns and chain are for a sweater. You put it through the top buttonhole and either a matching buttonhole or a loop around the button.
You can make elaborate fancy party dresses for several dolls and a fancy ball. Invite all your friends and neighbors to bring their favorite dressed up dolls. Celebrating your channel 🎉
Teapot tea strainer - from the 1933 world’s fair in Chicago. The built “the white city” on the shore of Lake Michigan, especially for the fair. My maternal grandparents went to that one. They left the kids with various relatives, while they went to the fair (quite a ways away - not a one day trip). You might enjoy photos of the fair. Take a peek online.
Those four beautiful ladies were painted by an artist named Alphonse Mucha and indeed there is an exhibit of his work currently in Prague. I was there a couple of weeks ago!
So many treasures! The green glass ring with crochet on it was made and used as a pull on a roller blind for a window. As a child I watched as my grandmother made similar ones for the blinds in her house. Watching and enjoying your videos in the west on Canada.
The little teapot strainer was from the 1933 worlds fair in Chicago Illinois. The theme was titled a century in progress.that gifted treasure trove was amazing ❤️
Absolutely amasing you both deserve it for all you do to entertain us. Would be lovely to do a haberdashery shop with cabinets and shop assistants with your dolls. or a little museum based on button and materials and laces.
I hope you make doll clothes from some of that and bed covers curtains wow so much you can do. And hats those feathers. I would make myself some earrings from the acorns.
WOW, what a beautiful gift. Everything in this box is rare and lovely. I love it all, but I especially love the hat pins because I make them myself and they're quite intricate, and I also love all the beaded fabric that looks like it's from the 1920's. You should definitely create a Speak Easy from that era. Speak Easys were always built underground because they were illegal in America during prohibition, so a miniature Speak Easy in a Book Nook would be perfect. You could use paper dolls dressed as 'Flappers' in black dresses and long pearl necklaces drinking tiny Martinis. I can just imagine it. Thank you so much for sharing this unboxing with us. Love from Amanda Jones in Melbourne, Australia
All those beaded pieces look like they came off those 1930’s dresses they wore back then that were the standard and very pricey at the time…..you’ll see some in the show Downton Abbey!!! They wore dresses like that!! I think I was squealing every time you took a piece out of a bag!! Lucky girls!!! I’m envious. You have a fan there that really loves the things you do with doll houses and the clothes you wear, which speaks volumes about you! Oh how I wish you lived closer to me, I think we are kindred spirits! We love the same things. What a box!! So cool!!! ❤️❤️❤️
This brings up some of my favorite memories with my great gran at her house. She would open all her old trunks just for me to go through. I would finds treasures galore and be able to listen to the stories that went with each item.
Wow, great memories for sure. My Grandma had ton's of costume jewelry & she wore them every day. I used to go down to her house & I'd dry the dished as she washed them & I helped her make her bed & I have even been complimented on how I make a bed so I think I was taught by the best. She always paid me a dime for helping her & that was big money to me back then, lol. I sure miss those days. Anyway, she always said she'd pass down her costume jewelry to me but it was not to be as we moved away & I never saw my grandma again. I have been able to see pictures of her through my cousin when she was in her golden years & she was the same as I remember her.
@@AndrewZelenka You are absolutely right. I think we all felt like we were rich to have a dime that we worked for, no less. I wouldn't change anything about those day for myself. We could go riding our bikes all over the desert & never had to worry about being kidnapped & worse.
I 💕 Love the Unboxing of Treasures 😮 You Ladies are so Blessed, you share such a wonderful relationship 😊 Thank Yous so much for sharing Can't wait for more to come ☕🫖🙋♀️⭐💫
Very 1920's, when clothes were hand made and beading was the thing. Fringes, purses made of filigree silver and ladies had long handled cigarette holders. Tres chic.Super fabric. I have bits of real fur from my mums wedding coat, 1962.The amount of fabric I have BONKERS. Old lace, buttons, an ostrich fan, very old.Not to be handled. But yep. We tend to keep the weirdest stuff.❤❤❤
So beautiful!!! Can't wait to see what you do with those. What a wonderful gift for not just you but for all your fans!!!!! Giant blessings and joy. Thank you whoever you are for all the beauties!!!❤❤❤❤❤ ok girls lets go crafting!! 😊😊😊
Suggestion…if you want to cut into the beaded fabric, first apply a thin layer of washable fabric glue to the back, over the stitching so the beads don’t fall off. I like Aileen’s fabric glue.
Well ….. that was sensory overload ! What a beautiful collection of treasures ! It was definitely collected by someone with impeccable taste! I’m sure it took years and years to amass and gifting it to you both was an amazing act of kindness and respect ! I look forward to see some of it be repurposed and made into the wonderful things that you do ! You are very lucky ladies and it is so deserved ! Happy New Year to you and yours and that was an amazing unboxing !! Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦❤️
What an enchanting box chock block full of antique deliciousness! I have a feeling you'll do Scott and Becky proud and create some beautiful things with what they sent you. I've collected buttons since age 15 and those were gorgeous, as was everything else. What kind subscribers they are! Glad to see that some of the happiness you give to us, your viewers, has come back to you. Thanks for sharing, and wishing you both and everyone else here a magical 2024 💖
This fabulous gift of treasures just shows how much you are in the hearts of many viewers. The beadwork was quite incredible and of high quality. Well deserved.
It's such a joy watching you open and the gasping is delightful! I think the little magnifier goes on the side of a pair of glasses and you flip it down so you can see something closer
Os that little teapot a tea infuser? That is fabulous if it is!! I love all these wonderful things tou were gifted. Thanks for sharing this with us!!❤❤❤
Scot and Becky, goodness me. Your gifts were so very enviously beautiful. I would have so loved to have seen the clothing those exquisite pieces of beaded cloth and lace came off. They must have been stunning in their day. They are the kind of things that set my imagination on fire. If that wasnt enough, then came the box of little treasures. Oh my word. Your generosity was so lovely to see. The squeals of delight. Each item, will I'm sure, be very much treasured. Ladies, your magnifier thing is for sliding on to the arm of a pair of glasses. It can be moved up and down when needed. Watch repairers use them, as do jewelers. Oh and the two acorns attatched on a chain, i do believe, is something that used to be used as a fastener on something like a little cape. It would have a button hole either side. One acorn went up through each of the holes and kept the cape fastened. Your both very blessed indeed to have such lovely things gifted to you. These lovely souls who sent you them realised you would be perfect people to pass such things on to. I look forward so much to see what happens with these delights. Happy New year everyone. Really enjoyed this one. Thank you. X
They were INDEED sent a box FULL of Love in all different forms! The ones that sent it now will forever be able to look at all they collected but know it will be loved and treasured by fleur and kate and people all over the world and probably made into more lovely things.
Oooo, ahhh, wow, amazing, incredible ….lovely to hear your excitement at opening this wonderful box of treasures . An incredibly generous gift ! Thankyou for sharing !
That glass bird should glow orange/red under black light!! Wonderful beadwork!! Brilliant!! All of it! ❤❤❤ how wonderful of her to share all of it with you.
I’m an assemblage artist who focuses on miniature scenes and dolls houses bedazzled with odd bits and bobs too! I buy collections of scraps of all kinds. I feel like I’m giving the once treasured new homes. Wonderful episode. Ty.
It would be lovely if we could see both your reactions whenever you're open these gifts, maybe a longer video explaining what items you have plans for I know I would love to know what you're thinking about using some of these treasures for. I'm so excited to see what is next!!! Congratulations on such a very nice package ❤
Wow wow wow is all I kept saying. My heart skipped a beat every time you opened something lol. These are no ordinary items, they are so so precious. Please use them all, not only for the dolls and themed rooms, but also for yourselves - add those beautiful laces and trims to some clothes and shoes, make some beautiful vintage looking bags, the ideas are endless. Just stunning. xx❤🇦🇺
I think these two will make an opulent, 1920's style scene or room from these treasures. I think the couple who sent them picked the perfect people to put these stunning pieces to work. You two already create magical rooms but this will be the icing on the cake! The blue ones you said would be like the trim on a lampshade, then you said the next blue bit could be on a bedspread, would make exquisite trim for the canopy and headboard of a mini 4 poster, talking of which Dollhouse Dilemmas does a wonderful 4 poster with napkin decoupage, I think the two, the decoupage and this amazing trim would make a showstopper of a mini bed! The little magnifying glass gave me ideas for my medieval alchemical lab, it looks perfect for viewing tiny animals and artifacts.
I have a special love for acorns too. In the house we lived when I was a small child which was my safe space from sexual violence we had a giant acorn tree which I loved and talked too. I imagined living in it in a hand built tree house with the fairies that roamed the garden. It was ancient and full of ivy. I still think of it so often with fondness even though we only lived there for a few years. It was my haven and acorns remind me of that❤
So sorry you went thru that!!!! I was a victim of physical violence often from 3 "family" members of my household. My youngest memory is being whipped on my bare back at the age of 4. ( and to this day I still dont know why or what I did) This left bloody open welts.Yet 2 of these took me to church everytime the church doors were open. Yet the way they were at home ..WHEW Thank GOD LITERALLY HE Showed me HE was REAL AND PURE LOVE to counter their AWFUL ABUSES for so long! So I SO UNDERSTAND your love of outsides and trees. I spent many hours in a tulip poplar tree at the tip top. One of my safe places I sought out.
@ceceliakeown5653 thank you, for sharing!♡ Unfortunately these kind of acts are so very wide spread and happen way more often than one would ever suspect. I am glad you found solace with the Lord ♡
Some beautiful additions to your stash in the boxes.A little hard to see some smaller pieces .Great camera position!but it needs zooming in a bit as if feels a bit far away during the second box filming. But how exciting 🥰
This has to be the most magnificent unboxing I've seen. Someone has spent a long time either collecting and/or putting these marvelous things together. Thank you for sharing, and a very Happy New Year to you both!
❤️🙋♀️. The care with which these lovely things were stored proves that they were treasures.. It must be a joy and comfort for the person who sent them, to see how much they are appreciated.
That was the most amazingly glorious box of treasures that I have ever seen !! I can't think of anybody more deserving of them than you two. Oh, the beautiful creations to be made🤩🤩 I can't wait to see them ! I hope 2024 is a wonderful year for you and your family. Much love and hugs 🥰🥰 xx
11:29 you could wear that around your neck for a scarf. Beautiful new Year to all. The magnifying glass clips onto the arm of your glasses. Take another look at the perfume bottle. Is it Cartier pronounced Car te a
