What a wonderful watch. Your both very talented and have the patients of saints. What a lovely display book shelf, with all its treasures held within. Xxx
Me too! I'm almost 70 and adore the Borrowers. My friend and I made a Borrowers house in the backyard under the bushes when we were 10 years old after reading the book!
The BORROWERS was and will always be the most precious book I’ve ever read. Thank you for getting me to think like a Borrower while your building this beautiful clock into a true borrower’s clock. New viewer I’m telling every body about y’all. Greetings from Brooks Oregon
I am 75 and still like the Borrowers. You made a lovely job of the shelving in that box and wonderful little tiny things to go on them. Well done you have some lovely ideas and keep us all entertained watching what you get up to.
I have just reread all five of the Borrowers books my all time favourites (I am 63) , my TV broke six weeks ago but not to worry because Fleur and Kate keep me occupied with lots of laughter joy and suspense and of course inspiration, thank you both, Gail x
Kate, the tiny flower display was wonderful and a testament to your superb imagination. The cupboard and contents would definitely get the Borrowers’ tick of approval.
What a great idea, that mini flower diorama. Just an idea for a tip - when I'm sticking small fiddly things with epoxy, superglue and the like, I shave down a matchstick with a scalpel and then I can get just a tiny dot of the glue exactly where I want it. Also I'll often use my jewellery tweezers to place things easily. Thanks again for more minature fun!
You two are so clever, every miniature is absolutely adorable ! The Borrowers will definitely be enchanted with their new cupboard of treasures 🤩 Love and hugs, 🥰🥰 xx
I’m having a big feeling morning. I made the decision to give myself some extra time in bed under my coziest blankets and make an extra cup of coffee. This video was like a soothing balm to my soul this morning. A way to focus on the beautiful that is inside the little things, to dream of how I could create more beauty in the world. My cozy morning has just given me the inspiration to face the day with a soft joy. Thank you.
Oh I love it! Can’t wait to see it in the Borrowers’ “home”! I have a couple of small boxes like that that I couldn’t bring myself to throw away! I am not sure what I will do with them but ever time I pick them up I will think outfit y’all’s amazing bookshelf! ❤
Brilliant job as always. You and your mom are so creative! I'm looking forward to seeing videos of a day in the life of you both. And hopefully some recipes that you like to make. As well as a picnic maybe 🤞 and more on your allotment and charity shops/shopping. And knitting and crochet.❤❤❤ I love watching your channels .
I'm still always amazed at what you two can make from random bits of things. Such great imaginations. Fun to watch and listen as you create. Hugs to Sunny cat. Good that he made an appearance 😊.
Lovely! The only thing I acn think of to use for dolls' houses would be puzzle pieces. A few would make a "puzzle" while one would make a pretty picture.
The framed flowers turned out spectacularly 😊 Kate, your imagination is so refreshing and your creations are such a joy-Mom’s too. Thank you both for a bit of brightness on dreary days.
Indeed... but, I have to say, and I mean this in the nicest possible way; I found it so refreshing to learn that even you cut things 'wonky' sometimes despite your very best efforts with that 'tablet packet' 3d frame of 'dried flowers'.
Magnificent work. I assemble cigar boxes. My 6 yr old grandson has made several mixed media canvasses with me. He is now making a shadow box of birds and hot air balloons, we made the hot air balloons and had lots of tiny birds……enjoying your duo! Sweet memories being made, thanks for sharing!
Looking around me at my old frames, they are thick. This is so cute. What a person can create from bits n bobs. Garbage that is laying around. Super fiddly. 😂😂😂❤❤❤
Because of you special ladies and your sharing heart, I have read The Bowowers Series. I was taken to a whole different world and wish I could have stayed. I have passed thre series of books on to our Beautiful, 'MOTHER OF THE CENTURY' Daughter - in - Law to share with 3 Perfect Children. I can't wait to here how they love the stories. You have Blessed us once again and I Thank YOU both. Love, Barb in Tornado Alley, Oklahoma.
A perfect start to the weekend, sitting on Friday afternoon with a cup of tea and watching another of your wonderful videos. The bookshelves and the 'borrowed' items are perfect. Looking forward to seeing the next stage in the clock, it's so delightful! Seeing Sonny cat is the icing on the cake 😊
I love watching your videos. And I like to give tips also. If I was a very little person. I would use the thimble as a cooking pot . The knuckle bone, I would use it as a stool, to rest my tired legs or to sit on. After a hard day of work. I do Love the idea of the clock as a home. Until next time God be with you.
I love the tiny framed flowers, I think I may have to steal that idea❤❤ I have that same clock and I've been looking at it differently since you started this!
What a wonderful bookcase you two made of a simple cardboard box, with all the useful treasures in it that the borrowers collected. One of my all time favourite children’s classics.
Lovely! I make a lot of furniture too and I've found if you top it with a piece slightly larger it creates a nice wooden trim look that overhangs by just a dite. .😍
You could also use those plastic medicine pop-ups as maybe stained glass windows, by fitting pieces of small glass shards, or broken buttons, or pieces of shiny rock.
I love you even more than I did for advocating... or perhaps I mean validating, staring intently at the recesses of an empty tablet packet wondering what else it could be ... thought it was just me!
So, so charming! Your videos and “makes” always take me back to my own childhood (about 60 years ago) when my dollhouse world was one created with cardboard houses and furniture my sister and I would make. Every bit and bob we found was used in some way to make our dollhouses all the more enchanting and magical - much like yours! The framed flowers idea was amazing - so creative! It turned out beautifully too! Thank you for this video and all of your gentle, magical content! Kathleen, USA.
The only things I would have done differently is that I would cover the box in paper and glue, making as I go wood effect, the bottom part that dose not open I would make it open. Paint it brown with various browns, and dry brushing, then a varnish. And finally some tiny real books. Still love it. ❤❤❤❤
Oh Kate! I love how you made that framed flower..I keep things like that blister packet in my crafts.Just brilliant use of it! Love everything about the bookcase and the borrower's treasures.Approved by Sunny it seems.😊 Thank you for the smile of the day!!!
Awesome! When do we see the finished clock? Apparently you have more than one project going at once. I have only discovered your channels a couple of days ago. I've loved smalls my whole life! I never did doll houses, just collected small things. I'm in the final chapter of my life & suffer on a daily basis. Your channel gives me so much peace & pleasure & takes my mind off of the unpleasant. With sincere gratitude, ladies! ❤
When I saw the thumbnail, it reminded me of Studio Ghibli’s Arietty animated film! 😊 And then i just found out that film is based on The Borrowers novel. 😀 Your bookshelf is so cute with all the little details ❤️
nice job. i loved the Borrower's book when i was a kid (still do as i just reread it after u started your clock project). you've given me many ideas for my doll's house. i'm sure u watch a lot of videos on how to make doll house miniatures. here's one for making plates which i'm using: "How to make miniature plates from paper and foil. 1/12 scale. Coco's Crafts @ RUclips." thanx

Loved every minute of this!
I’ve never heard of a grandmother clock! This is just wonderful. Everything y’all do is precious.
Yes! They were just smaller, more affordable.
@@enough1494 looks like a regular clock but just unnecessarily tall. But you could store stuff in it maybe
What fun. Most of the furniture I made in my first dolls houses were made out of cardboard. This looks like the perfect borrowers bookcase. 😊
The framed flowers turned out spectacularly 😊 Kate, your imagination is so refreshing and your creations are such a joy-Mom’s too. Thank you both for a bit of brightness on dreary days.

That turned out amazing, take care and thank you for sharing 🙏❤️🌟
I love that we are both doing Borrowers projects at the same time. And we both have grey male cats who like to get into it too. 😊
Great job ladies, any Borrowers family would love to have that bookcase!
I think kitty would like to snack on one of the borrowers.
So much fun watching this.
The eraser part of a pencil is great for holding stuff while you work with tiny things.
Lovely! I make a lot of furniture too and I've found if you top it with a piece slightly larger it creates a nice wooden trim look that overhangs by just a dite. .😍
I am going to have to find a copy of the Borrowers to read. I love the creative collaboration you two have.
This is brilliant. Your miniatures always take me away to a magical place. Thank you.

Great work how I liked the way you made a empty box 📦 into a lovely box cupboard how unusual great finds on the shelfs.
I love this series. The candle would look cute cut off very short with the wick burned and set in a bead or something for a candle holder.
I love this! Esp the little triangle on the back of the flower frame!
Love this project!!!! Great job Fleur and Kate!!❤❤
Those cane beads could be sweets on a plate. Your creativity is excellent! So enjoyable to watch thank you
