    Your little silver buttons are fabulous, many quilting and sewing folk live all bits sewing. I myself have a pin that has tiny spools and buttons and tiny scissors ✂️ hanging from it.     Have you ever had a friend that has such a grating voice, that you can’t be around them more than ten minutes at a time?     You have so many nice places to explore and fossick through. Most are picturesque and really interesting to see, even If only on our little iPad/computer screens. And your home seems so cosy and inviting as compared to the rainy day outside. You two ladies are a wealth of knowledge concerning all the bits n bobs you find. And very inventive with the crafts that you use to make objet d’art. Always a pleasure to go along on your jaunts with you and watch you crafting too.     You always manage to find the most beautiful glass bottle stoppers :)
    Wonder how many people regret nowadays threwing out their pretty empty glass perfume bottles during the years of plenty,never giving it a second thought that some day soon they would be a saught after novelty - we never appreciate something untill it's too late.

    I think that’s a mouth-guard rather than dentures. I use one because I grind my teeth in my sleep! Some wonderful finds. I love the tiny bottles 🙂🙂

      They are dentures, it has been moulded to the shape of gums and you can see where the faint imprints of teeth xx

      @@NorthernMudlarks It is a mouth guard. You would find teeth marks because those of us who wear them are biting down and it keeps us from grinding our teeth

      @@constancebraun2251 I'm afraid you can see where the teeth have been fitted to the dentures. They are also moulded to the shape of ones gums, not teeth. They simply would not fit over teeth. Along with the nicotine staining we are absolutely certain these are dentures.

    I was near the Scottish border the other day fixing an oil boiler for a customer... the rain was relentless - presuming it was the same day! Thanks Alex and Gail, your videos keep me and my partner entertained and eager to go mudlarking... when it's not so wet. We have so many projects in the

    i recognized the parianware right away! they're made with powdered marble and a binder and slush-cast into a myriad of shapes. often they're copies of solid marble sculptures made to be affordable and make your house look fancier for your guests. a very pretty find. :)

    I recently found your channel and you have no idea how much it has helped me get through some really rough days.     When you panned the camera at how vast that dump site is, I have an even greater respect for you being able to see anything at all but especially those tiny beads.     I think itd be a great idea to salvage all the broken figurines you find and put them in a specific section of your garden if they are not too fragile! a broken figure graveyard sort of decor!!

    Love your pipe finds...the lens was wonderful. I love the pottery shards because the designs scream out for pendant jewelry. I used to have to clean my Mum's crystal hanging pendants. I didnt mind because they made prism patterns on the walls when I was little. I thought they were fairy magic...lol. Childhood was full of imaginative moments. Thank you both for so very interesting items and anecdotes. I love the figurines and faces too! Please make a crafty video making stuff...you are both so artistic and talented.

    Hi! I'm from Spain. I love antiques too, it takes me back to that time. I would like you to paint on the ceramic cups the pipe drawings you made on the moulds, it would look good. I would also like you to make a mosaic with the pieces of porcelain. I would love to be there and be able to grab things too! ♡
