@Tony Dsouza exactly my thoughts. I call SK Shortcut Kapoor. I used to discount his all his sishya including the Sardar but after watching his Punjabi Samosa recipe I knew he was showing a genuine recipe and later on I checked out and tried his other recipes they were equally good. The only thing about SK is he is suave and easy on the eyes to middle aged Indian housewife's. which is what sells his show.

I'm Hyderabadi...and You have presented the dish in a very tempting way...my mouth is watering...but I do some variations...like using coriander leaves and cashews...and in tempering use some Kalonji...

Thought methi and kalonji seeds are added with the dhania jeera to the roast. Secondly for the pulp even tomatoes are added, garnished in the end with coriander leaves.

they are adding the red chillies in the paste.
The whole thing is being cooked in oil in the end, so what is the point in draining oil from green chillies.
Oil is drained so tht the final dish does not have more oil

this doesn't look like Hyderabadi mirchi ka salan. it is never red or orange, it should b bright yellow.
