i love the hyderabadi food as iam from hyderabad and no dawath is complete with out this salan and u chef has thought the right way to cook what liked is the ratio .. love mirchi ka salan biryani and dahi ki chutney .
I ate this at Junoon, NYC and since then I was craving for it. Came across this video and tried it at home. The dish turned out to be very tasty. Savored it for 3 days. While stored in fridge the taste did not get any more aggressive which was the best part. Thank you!
Shef aap ka jawaab nahee !! masha allah!!!Hyderabadi food has one grate secreat....the biryani / mirichi ka saln or any dish would be done best when one is cooking it fo large quantities and off course when cooked under coal/woodstok!!!Thank you shef!!!

Shabash MahaRaj! I am Punjabi but I only had this dish in the ready to eat format from Kitchens of India. I have never had this fresh, but I really love this dish very much so. It is very great with tandoori naan. Harpal Ji maybe you should be making a line of ready to eat meals using your spectacular recipes so all people can be enjoying your food anytime.

Hi sardar. Ur mirchi ka salan appear delicious. Since I am a vegetarian I never had the opportunity to taste, I have some quiries: 1 Is it necessary to use Nonstick utencils? I see ur demo with Nonstick. My children are against this as they say it is bad for health. 2 If prepared for how many days it can be kept refrigerated? Thanx and I shall try one of these days.
@faceofatown No. Tamarind is the fruit around the seeds of a different tree. You can get tamarind paste (bottled) in any indian grocery store in the US.
Every time I watch a Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana video and I see Chef Harpal it makes me smile.
