I have an interview at college tomorrow for a hairdressing course, not sure how similar the interview process is to a salon interview but this was super helpful thank you! You’re gorgeous btw ❤

I am a recent graduate from Aveda here in SF and I am interviewing in a few hours! I loved your outfit as well as your makeup. In the video I posted right before this one, I have a clip at the end where I show it in outdoor lighting so you can see it better. I would say it's a neutral dark brown, but definitely looks black inside!
can you do a video on how you found the salon?? i’ve been trying to find a new salon as the one i’m at doesn’t fit my style and the direction i’m heading doesn’t seem like something i’d like to be doing and it is so difficult finding a new salon in my area! one that will help me grow and educate me because i’m still a newer stylist. help me i’m struggling!!!
Social media!! The more modern salons that value education are likely going to be the ones that are also the most social media savvy, so definitely check Instagram. I just look for local hashtags like "#PhiladelphiaHairSalon" for example. You can also look on Google, but I would try to find their Instagram to give you a better sense of the salon's atmosphere. If you really want to be a detective, you can book a blowout or something simple to feel the place out and the staff in person.
soooo what if i have a buzz cut.. 😬😅 kind of a joke, but also i’m scared that’s the reason i’m not getting hired. been to 2 interviews since shaving my head, and haven’t heard back, but i have had a few in the past before shaving my head, and always got the job. so i don’t know if it’s just a coincidence, or if that’s the reason..
I quit my job at as an assistant bc the salon was not it 😭 the place I want to assist at now, has nothing about assistants as their staff or job titles on their website or IG. Should I still try?

Great tips. Love the hair color. Wondering if is more of a matte black or is it more brown in natural light.

Not all salons have assistants, but it's worth a shot! You'll never get an opportunity if you don't ask!!
