Need some primaries with heavy armour penetration, the eruptor and jar dominator, maybe slugger, more medium pen options.
Keep light as an option if you're into that

agreed, gotta get heavy AP, the new liberator is cool but light pen is pretty sucky for most hordes lol

I think you just need to get good my guy.
I get your point about the 110mm rocket pods, but I think you misunderstand. The pods, since they now always hit, do a lot more damage and so the explosion caused by the pods hitting something does not penetrate armor anymore. Which isnt a weird change imo.
With behemoths being a tanky as they are these pods have gotten their place in the useful strats list. Before they were actual ass.
The tenderizer is actually fun now
