And here I am 10yrs later and I'm almost 18, Temple run will forever be the goat

I remember I played a game called "Dark Corridors" It's a temple run game but it's mix with horror, like while running the jumpscares are the obstacles and when the chaser caught you, you'll get a fullscreen jumpscare
OMG you just make me remember that game! The korean version of the temple run+horror+lore. That game does make me feel scared a couple times in game, especially if the ghost catches you.

Subway surfes is "slow" because it has a quest system which rewards you with currency and levels, latter is important because it automatically scales your "speed multiplier." It's a pretty hidden stat that newcomers and casual players won't notice. I think from lvl 30 onward subway surfers starts pretty fast

Fun fact I met the creator of temple run when I was on vacation in Hawaii. We were at a pineapple farm on a tour which was incredibly boring. Really the only memorable part about it was meeting him. He was with his wife and son and he seemed just as bored as I was. He was on his phone the whole time

I'm pretty sure it featured changing environments, boss battles and a near endless roster of unlockable spidermen and women. I will not attempt to variefy any of these claims in fear of 1. Finding out it no longer exists or 2. Becoming hopelessly addicted. The idea that it isn't as good as I remember is non existant because I know it's S teir and will die on this hill.

The original Temple Run is SO FUN but the issue I've always had was there'd be these parts that were literally just impossible. You'd have to jump over a tree only for there to be another tree you'd have to jump over at the EXACT SPOT where you'd land. Even with good timing, you'd fail and >have< to use one of your revives and watch an ad.

i played temple run vr when i was a kid with my mom's gear vr. to me, it was a really good game and the stuff at the beginning with the monkeys made me really creeped out, in a good way. ive never been motion sick in vr, so i can't speak on that, but the environment was just amazing and the sole reason my mom decided to just give me her s7 edge for me to play it whenever.
I got my first smartphone in high school around late 2011 and the first two Temple Runs were by far my most played games. Thought my age made me immune to app based nostalgia but guess not lol
Man an Indiana Jones Temple Run game would’ve made sense as another Disney TR reskin after Oz, Indi running with the fertility idle while being chased by the Hovitos and having other characters like Satipo, Marion, Sallah and even updates that include characters from later movies like Willie and maybe Short Round from Temple of Doom, Jones sr and maybe that medieval knight from Last Crusade and maybe Mutt from Crystal Skull

There is a new Temple Run in making named "Temple Run: Adventure". I just got the beta invite. It is a bit different like having to use different clothes equipment to overcome different places e.g. special shoes to protect from poison. Also, there is no left or right its like subway running straight. The powerups are bit different. There is no one chasing. It is very buggy and fonts, sizes of elements of game are disproportionate. Hope they improve and add some more excitement to it.
Video idea: something similar to this, but maybe you could do an every subway surfers game ranked, including subway surfers, sonic dash, minion rush, talking Tom run, and all the others.., Maybe it could be a two parter or something if you don’t get to them all 😁👍
